Thank you! A lot of content creators talk about quality but you are the only one that actually takes their time to break down an explain if something is actual quality !
Yes of course! Glad you enjoyed and learned from the content😊. Joe's goal is to educate brands/consumers alike on what is quality product and how to buy or create proper garments. Feel free to ask any questions regarding fashion, manufacturing, and brand building🫡
Thank you for this video. I have been buying these for well over a decade. Now I have a greater appreciation of the value due to the attention to detail. Money well spent and they look as good as the day I bought them.
I’ve been wearing ABC pants for years. Well worth the investment. I didn’t know about the tech behind it, but I can attest to the fact that they’re nearly indestructible. The same is true for all my Lulu workout shorts and shirts. Some of those date back to 2015 and they’re still going strong, even though they had the barbell rub against them a million times. Faded a bit from washing? Sure. Material and seams, though, as if I had just bought them. Bottom line for me; At this point, unless I’m in a suit, I’m almost exclusively wearing Lulu. If they made suits, I’d probably wear those, too.
Haha, yes it's possible for Shift to like products. It just shows how many low quality products there are circulating the consumer market unfortunately😔
Firstly, love the videos! Huge help. Not sure if it's mentioned in another comment (there are too many to go through) but is there a comparable product at a lower price point that you've also reviewed? Would love a "if you're looking for an alternative, consider X, Y or Z" at the end of the vids maybe?
@@Shiftfashiongroup I will be buying one soon for the winter and want to see if the big outdoor brands are overhyped or if they actually have quality and are worth what they charge.
@@Shiftfashiongroup Please do it! and maybe compare with other similar level jackets. This brand and others like North Face were loved by the street fashion a while back ($400 USD hardshells for ppl walking 10 min in the rain in Toronto - poor use of $). It had such a hype but it's died down recently. I honestly love Arcteryx and own two hardshells (very expensive) but I used them for multi-night hikes and do believe they are good quality. Just found your channel and would love your input
I’m learning a lot on these video on a subject which is kind of safeguarded to avoid regular folks to avoid traps and pay high prices for something not worth any money. I’d love to see brand like Incotex or Moncler, the latter increased its prices by a factor 2 in just a few years ! I’d never buy today the coat I bought in 2013 at such ridiculous price. Keep up the great work, real pleasure to watch you sharing so much knowledge!
I've been leaning towards getting a pair. They're expensive but was hoping I could find a sale to try a pair. As someone who dresses business casual this is right up my alley.
Hey Scott, We're actually going to be dropping a Vuori review soon, stay tuned for it! As for the 32 degrees, what garment would you like to see us review?
@@Shiftfashiongroup I'd like to see something from 32 degrees in the same category as the upcoming Vuori review for comparison. If not that maybe the cool active shirt or pants from Costco.
@@Shiftfashiongroup looking forward to the pants from Vuori! I find that the ABC is similar to what they are offering after having owned one of each pair
@@ShiftfashiongroupJust discovered this channel and excited to hear that you'll be reviewing Vuori soon!! Hopefully you'll be looking into their Strato tech tee or their Dreamknit fabric, or perhaps compare their Meta pant that is often compared to LLL's ABC pant that you've reviewed here. Given Vuori's meteoric rise the past 1-2 years, I'm sure you'll find a lot of people interested in your review of Vuori. Thanks for sharing your insights and expertise!
Great video! I'd like to request duluth firehose pants as a review, they've been my go to for a while but i'd love your perspective. To me they're rugged, hike/camp/motorcycle capable, durable, and still look very good in a casual/work setting
Can you do Fabletics? I have yet to be in love with any of their products, and there is something slightly wrong with fit and finish. I would love to get your take on them.

Excellent video do the new venture classic fit shirt by Lululemon! Just got a couple and im surprised by how good of the quality and fit they were attention to detail is excellent as well
Thisbis the kind of videos I really like. We spend so much on clothes . It helps me understand what js worth buying and not buying. Also heps determine what brands are gimmiky versus not.
Lululemon does make good quality products. I have several of their gym tops and shorts. After 10 years, the shorts are wearing out at taped seal lines, but the gym tops are holding up well. And I work out at least 3x per week, and for ave. 2 hrs. per work out. Get the silver thread tops. I have 8 nos ABC pants and the design and workmanship are there. Only complaint I have are for the light beige color pants, I noticed there are some bleached spots, but none in the dark brown and black ones.
I love Carhartt lines as I work in a shop and office. I know WIP are over priced (I owned 3 WIP Jackets) and a lot of other mainline items. Aside from WIP overpricing they are all durable for work and weekends.
@@felixchow4662for sure too pricey at full retail, but they actually have pretty good 50% off sales throughout the year (I think as seasons end) where I get my stuff.
Brilliant review and break down. Looking forward to many more videos. Please make a video collection for garments that have 10 a value and/or 40 score (or close to). I love these pants, had them for years, but it sounds like you’ve seen better… but perhaps not as good value.
Great video... i actually brought a pair because of your video. I did some google-ing and found that Quince pants are as good but cheaper. Hope you can do a review on them too.
thank you, very detailed review and I love to see brands are actually making their product with hearts. Just not sure if I need that much of a details in a day to day pants. I am from Vancouver and I work in and out of a office and shop. I mostly wear T-shirt and Jeans at work so I would like to see if you will be interested in reviewing Worker clothings like Carhartt and Dickies.
15:11 - Thanks for explaining what ABC stands for. I wouldn't guess it's Anti Ball Crushing technology :) I wonder if during washing black dye leaks from pockets to the light one.
Wonderful video! This is exactly the sort of nerding out that I love, with your attention to detail and knowledge base. Can’t wait to see more of these! Request: I am wondering if Arcteryx still has the same quality as it had 10 years ago since it moved its production overseas-one of the gamma jackets maybe?
Please do Rhone Commuter Pants. I own 7 of them in different kind of color and fit. Still my favorite so far. My go to outfit is rhone pants and Uniqlo crew t-shirt Airism.
Nice breakdown! I’ve had a lot of these and can say they last a long time while looking good. I’ve got some 5 year old pairs that look almost new. I’m not really a fan of how they fit anymore though
Value for money is a 5 maybe 6. There are very well made pants from Decathelon prices at 60% cheaper and the quality is superb. Let the the name Lulumon brand name sucker you into spending another $90 when its not needed.
Am I the only one that thinks cotton clothing is more comfortable and looks better? Polyester is good for workout clothes and I suppose is more comfortable if you wear skin tight clothing, other than that, natural materials always win imo.
I have been wearing ABC pants exclusively for the last two years. While they have this reflective strip, it doesnt hold up riding on bikes too well. The first pairs display some crotch wear already
As someone with no background for previous care for clothes I am loving these videos. I can't wait for this channel to mature and possibly expand into other fields. My comments. - Love the technical content, manufacturing, fabrics, etc. - Elevating the hidden secrets and details engineers likely slaved to perfect just to be hidden gives tremendous credibility (or tarnish) to these brands. - The deconstruction section could be sped up or simplified. The content is great but feels long. - You do start to lose my attention at the score rating. I feel that can be simplified or dropped.
I have six pairs of ABC pants. They are comfortable and easy to maintain. But there is an issue for all the pairs. After a months or two the color starts to fade especially around the waist band area.
Please do a pair of Solotex pants from Banana Republic, they make a pant that is in a similar category to this one and I would like to know how it stands up to LuLu's.
I owned a pair, the first thing to break down was the belt ringlets, which tore on the bottom seam (multiple), and holes opened up on the back pockets where the top seams meet the pant, this was within 1.5 years if ownership. Ive since retired them and likely wont buy another.
Yup, quality has definitely dropped in the past few years. People talk about their pairs from 10 years ago lasting better than their purchase from 2 years ago
It’s hard to go wrong for lululemon. Buy once last forever, or buy cheap knockoffs and buy over and over again!! In the long run you save money with quality!!
I would never buy a hundred dollar pant, but after watching your teardown, I actually want to invest in this hundred dollar pant. Knowing it is a product with many thought put into it instead of just branding premium make this pant much more attractive. One question - Is there other way to mimic the gusset function without it? I would like to learn what to look for to judge a garment is comfortable or not. AND thank you very much for your video!
