  • For viewers who wanted to see what's involved or different in checking in for an international flight at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). We traveled from ATL to FCO (Rome, Italy) during October on Delta Airlines.
    The video begins with us being dropped off at the front entrance of Concourse/Terminal F (the International Terminal) by the airport's shuttle from the Rental Car Center. With the exception of TSA/Security checkpoint (where you are not allowed to photo or film) and the time we spent waiting at the gate for our flight to board, this is a complete recording of what it takes to go from the front door of the international terminal all the way to sitting in your plane seat.
    I have always been one to thoroughly research before going on a trip and I found that there were not any videos I could find on UA-cam showing the check-in process for an international flight for ATL, so I made one.
    The process is very easy, in fact, this video actually depicts our FIRST INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT, so we were going into it blind. We found that there isn't really a difference in checking in for an international flight and a domestic flight at Atlanta. The only real difference is which terminal you go to to check-in.

    Thank you so much for documenting this. I am taking my first ever flight and first international trip in a few months and have been very anxious about navigating the airport.

      James Phillips the international terminal is very simple after passing through security. Plenty of signage to tell what gate is where. I’m glad the video helped. Safe travels!

    Love your videos. I am flying to Ca. next April to visit my daughter. First time on a plane in 30 years. Little anxiety setting in, but your videos are helpful in getting prepared for take offs and getting through the Atlanta airport. So thank you and keep them coming and I will be watching....thank you.

    We're taking our first flight to Jamaica the end of March, and here i am three months out trying to learn how to maneuver through the airport to reduce anxiety. 😂 We are about three hours away from Atl, so we're getting a hotel the day before. Do you recommend hotel shuttle to airport or driving?

    • @bozy106
      @bozy106  6 місяців тому +1

      Personally I always drive from the hotel to either an off site parking provider such as The Parking Spot or the airports ATL West parking deck.

      In the video when you walk in and the cam is facing the big window, it shows the check in on the right and security and Gates on the left. In reality it's the opposite.

    • @bozy106
      @bozy106  4 роки тому +3

      Statikcitten9 not really certain which entrance we came in...it was our first time in international terminal. Wherever the rental car center shuttle drops of is the entrance we went in.. I looked through the video and the layout is as I remember. I also looked at all the writing on the signs we passed and none of it appears reversed.
