back in ’88 in Philly I played drums with this bass player, Tim Hogan in a band called Martial Law. Geat musician and very humble guy with a great sense of humor. And that’s Mike “Rondo” on drums. He played for a band called Radio Rodeo at that time.
Classic singer in the Babys, Bad English, and solo. John still has stage presence, sure, his voice isn't like it was back in the 70's and 80's, but I reckon he still works it like a pro. Lots of memories with the band's music, but never got to see them live..💯😁

I went to see 3 other bands which included "Kansas" and "Styx". I can't recall the 3rd band which was also famous. None of the 3 bands had all the original members so I was very disappointed. I really wanted to hear Dennis DeYoung of Styx but he was not there. After the concert was over, I discovered John had been playing in what was called the "Wolf Den". I think I would have preferred to listen to John than the 3 bands I had seen that night. I would loved to have heard John duet this song together with Tina Turner who also did this song. One of John's best performances was with a female vocalist doing ,"Every Time I think of You", when he was with "The Babys".
Have always loved Johns voice ever since the days back at Winterland but I also saw him recently and really don’t like the backup musicians he’s touring with. He deserves better. At least some keys and a female back up singer. Still in my top 5 vocalist ever 👍
