yeah i never thought to do this great idea to isolate the area you want - i wonder if you guys prefer this approach rather than using mocha AE to track and create mask what do you think is it similar effort and result and comes down to preference?

Update: i had to work backward. Not make anything 3D until I got it to be an Alpha Matte. I then went to BG and made them 3D and moved images.

When I try to use 3D Camera Tracker it shows a message "unable to acquire rendered frame", searched everywhere but I could not find a solution...
Edit: With another footages it shows "unable to obtain dynamiclink project".
Amazing Result... But not enough Good Tutorial
When I get to adding the 3D camera tracker it keeps saying that either the layer does not match the composition or that it's unable to track the frame. What would I do to solve this problem? I've tried going to transform and doing "fit to comp" several times but it didn't change anything. Does anyone have a n suggestions?
I have the same issue I was just fiddling with things and if you go to the 3d tracker camera under advanced turn on detailed analysis and it should scan again and it worked on mine
Did anybody have the same problem? - When I enable the BC layer to be 3D it automatically changes it's possition, then track mate doesn't work at all, because it thinks it being stacked on top. Is there a secret setting here? Amazing effect btw !

@@lovediary4459 For me it worked the other way, firstly I had to parent the clip then turn the 3D layer, then the little star - the layer button function, finally enable alpha, any other way it separated the layers

I have hit a roadblock, When I place parent the BG comp to the Main comp it doesn't follow the tracking at all, so when i scroll ahead it goes off on its own.

Don't get me wrong, but I think this all people who made this effect I think they learn from or used the techniques used by NPS 3D but ofcourse I may be wrong.
