- What started as a burned to the ground 2018 Dodge Demon that I bought at salvage auction now has a full body, full interior and is almost ready for a 1000hp supercharged engine.. but we still have a bit of work to do before we get there!
With new suspension, uber rare OEM Demon parts and much more in hand, it's time to get this Demon ready for it's new heart once and for all!

Gata love Mopar back order parts trust me I work in a parts department warehouse for a dodge dealership in Az and not only are a lot of parts are on back order but we get a lot of parts that are damaged straight from the main warehouse or from the delivery truck we get but now that the UAW went on strike we are only getting special order parts basically and if we get any aro orders or stock orders it will be very little .........

fr i should buy a cheap car and then put a brick on the gas pedal crash it into a wall and collect insurance then leave the company so i dont have to play the higher insurance rate

Nobody has popped the question as to whether or not this car has a salvage title or a Cert. Of Destruction ...If that's the case, it can never be tagged again with that VIN for the street. I'm guessing it's a Cert. Of Destruction car based on the extreme fire damage... Meaning for parts or to be rebuilt for off road use only..Which incase, if he's strictly building a drag car cool. I thought he was building it to cruise it as well though.

Turn the SRT-10 into a Pre-Runner truck, then go meet up with SuperFastMatt and race his off-road Viper build.
You should make the srt10 the ultimate tow rig for the demon, just as capable racing alongside it, with similar livery as the demon! Y'all are awesome, it's inspiring watching you work!
Is Lee going to put the other viper stroker motor in that thing? Or the Hellcat?
Its srt8 for the v8 like the dodge ram srt10 have a v10

I can confirm that the challenger front bumper tends to sag. But the weather strip seal going in takes up a decent amount of that space and cleans it up nicely
This is such a sick project. I would take this opportunity to make it lighter. A 3500 pound Manual Demon would be epic

I'm not really a hellcat/demon fan but I really have to say I'm loving this build and have watched way more than I thought I world.
I feel asleep one night and woke up to auto play on one of the videos. Been hooked since.
Honestly, this video is so far from being boring!
I find it so exciting to see the demon finally coming together with the seats, headlights, interior, etc

i adore the look, it all goes back to the cars name, Demon, a angry spirit from the depths of hell, the land of fire, the car was burnt to a crisp and was built back up to be more powerful, keep the burns, its awesome
While this episode may not have had the fun and exciting things like that last few, I found this episode still really fun! I check everyday to see if there is a new video on this build lol. Not much of a car guy but I love the idea!

Man I literally can't wait to see an engine and transmission go into this car and drive. I literally watched every part of this series so far! I say stick the dodge red-eye engine in and supe it up to be a monster and lower the truck and make it a drag truck

I absolutely love watching you guys! I can feel your pain watching this build. As for the truck...you still have the redeye drivetrain right? Slap that in and destroy the driveshaft and rear axle. Sounds like fun. Keep up the great work.

Trucks are best when they're usable as trucks. So, that being said, answer me this: How hard is it to take a Hellcat engine from a donor, and swap it into place of a V-10? Plus: Did you ever wonder what a Viper V-10 would look like dressed-up with billet pieces and a Hilborn-style injection system w/anodized stacked... in a "classically" decked-out Dodge A-series van?😉😁
I think a 1,000hp car from every manufacturer is the goal!
I still dont know what to feel about this project. I would have liked to see the body done clean and nice, befitting a unique manual Demon.
But, at the same time, it just makes mine worth a lot more...
I agree. I usually like their projects but this one just kinda sunk for me. The whole patina thing is just overrated to me and it would have been great to see this in nice, shiny condition.
@@cheapme1850 I know. It feels a bit like its trying to make a mockery, or some statement about Dodge owners. I just feel bad for the car itself, the labor that goes into them. Cars are under attack enough as it is. This car might as well been set on fire the second time.
The story about this car is annoying as it is, with how the track let it burn to a crisp and instead was yelling at the driver that couldnt turn it off or get out.

@@user-yi5kj8jf1z Yeah, it was a few years ago, at a track. The owner warms up his tires and the trans blew and caught fire. It took out some electrical wires and he could not turn the engine off. One of the track employees is yelling at the owner, that he wont put out the fire unless he turns the engine off and is getting snarky. The owner manages to get out, but the track officials were just staring like idiots, laughing, assuming the guy didnt want to turn the engine off, calling him names, until eventually it goes up in smoke. Im not sure of the outcome but I knew there was a lawsuit filed. But the video all over the internet.
Honestly the fire damage adds the demon character because you know hell is full of fire and its a demon 😈
You gotta tell us the final cost for the entire build. I'm seriously wondering how much this thing cost to do. You said that it was 80k cheaper than a nice one so wondering what this thing will be worth fixed and how much you got into it as well!!

I love that it has the demon, and the hellcat logos looking at eachother, and in the middle of them (center of the car) is the creation they made together. That being you parts togethered, burned up and burned out, Challenger.
I like the mis-matched headlights it gives respect to the hellcats that lost their lives to get the demon back on the road. Respect.

Leaving the burn damage is honest and truthfull. It has to be temting to paint it, I admire your restraint. Any car worth more than $50,000 that is left in a state of wear or patina is interesting, because the financial incentive to paint it is strong.
The SRT10 truck definitely needs some titanium long tube headers in a 10 to 1 straight piped exhaust and it will screammmm

Honestly have the Demon and Hellcat logos on either side makes complete sense. Sure it might turn a few heads but it shows what this car has gone through and how it has persevered. So I’d say it looks sick.

The two head light logos are poetic justice for this car. And shot out to the mopar employee that risked for the brisket (stolen bucees billboard quote) for getting the radio code.
I would leave it a bunch of different colors to throw people off when they try to drag race you😂😂 that'd be pretty funny they get totally smoked by the hell Frankenstein

Love the idea to keep the engine bay as-is with the "patina" look! It's what it'll make it even more unique.
I won't lie, the different panels is a little weird for the Demon, but I love the idea of leaving the fire damage. Personally I would repaint all the mismatched panels to match the original red and leave that big burn scar in the side. Excited as well to see what you do with that truck!

Front bumper has some hard to spot bolts that you can’t see but can reach from the wheel well with a long extension on ratchet, might help the fitment if y’all missed it

A Dodge Challenger Redeye. Hellcat. Demon. Is my #1 dream car over Lambo, Ferrari etc. I'm talking absolutely my Number 1 dream car. The New Demon 170 is absolutely fire. But I'd take any listed above and be absolutely in love. I wish I could afford one.

You need the foam/ polyester blocks that come from the factory between the bumper and the front crash bar. It will support the bumper from the inside and the

Hands down i would paint the outside like showroom condition so you dont see the engine bay when the hood is shut. Lol that way it looks cherry on the outside and when you pop the hood its like whoa.. lol

Not boring at all!! And as far as what to do with the truck I'd personally restore it, but for another interesting series if videos you can take that V10 engine and throw it into another one of those Challenger shells you got laying around!! That would be something!!!

Coming together now! Personally I think you should paint/colour match all the panels back to red but leave the fire damage bits on show. It would just look a million times better, especially the front end. And a little more purpose built than junk yard car 😂
So,since you made this with hellcat parts and it's a demon,with one headlight demon one hellcat,,,you should call this car the demon cat from hell. Or hell demon ,,I think it's fitting . Or possibly the demons red eyed cat
