- Heritage Standard H-150 Electric Guitar - Dirty Lemon Burst
As far as classic-inspired solidbody electrics go, the Heritage Standard H-150 is the real deal. Its curly maple top is supremely eye catching, and its single-cut body will feel as familiar as the back of your hand. Plug in, and you’ll experience magical PAF tones, thanks to a duo of Seymour Duncan humbuckers. And you’ll appreciate this guitar’s comfortable rolled Standard “C”-shaped neck and easy-playing rosewood fingerboard - precision Plek’d for maximum sustain and optimized playability. The Standard H-150’s stability and intonation are rock solid, thanks to a non-locking Tune-o-matic bridge and high-quality Grover tuners. Featuring cream-colored body binding, a “The Heritage” sticker headstock logo, and classic-style trapezoid fingerboard inlays, the Standard H-150 was carefully handcrafted in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

I've got a Heritage H-530 and H-535 and love them. They are a pleasure to play and everyone loves the sound but the handmade quality of the instruments is the best I've ever seen. Both of my guitars are flawless and they play like it. I'm not a Les Paul player or I'd probably get the H-150 too. 🎈
✌♥
If I ever buy another Les Paul, I would buy a Heritage.
Awesome
There is one in California posted on reverb for $1650, plus $60 shipping.
Its lemon burst.
Just bought one, it plays better than my vintage les paul.
Yes!!! Once again I have only casual interest in the guitar being featured, but your beautiful playing sounds like what I would play (if I could), and it's worth watching the video just to hear your melodic and lyrical delivery.👍
Thank you Chris✌️❤️
Jon that intro was absolutely incredible. One of your best. It’s a beautiful instrument and I love all the tones. A really good alternative . Very interesting one thanks Jon 😃😃👍❤️
Glad you enjoyed it Tom!
So smooth. Love it!
Thank you
Looks & sounds great! The music you play sounds beautiful.
Thank you very much!
Great Review. I'm definitely going to be looking into one of these for my next guitar. Thank you👍
Cool
Great playing!
Thank you
What a beauty !!!
Indeed
I love those! A best kept secret no more!Great sounds, Jon!
🔊 ✨👍
✌️❤️
Looks sweet to me ❤
✌️❤️
Jon, you never cease to amaze!!! Are you doing all the background music? I bet you are 🤙
Always look forward to your next review!!
I do some.. but not this one✌️❤️
Jon, I wanted to share with you, that my ST-62 came from luthier, for a fret leveling, and now I can like the guitar, it's great now, no more high frets... I am considering buying a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 bridge pickup for it, it's a very high output. I am stoked. Cheers to you!
Awesome!!! Hope you have fun with it!!!✌️❤️
Hi Jonathan, a very stunning figured top on this beautiful model by Heritage. Certainly a more affordable LP style guitar than the mainstream. It looks well made. Cheers 🎂🎸💜
It is well made Rodger✌️❤️
Surprised I haven't seen you review Eastman SB59V, amazing hand made instruments, just picked one up and wow, neck and fretboard especially are wonderful. And the violin finish gives it that vintage look and feel! Great playing on that beautiful Heritage
I will keep a lookout!!

Dear Lord, that sounds good! Around 6:03 sounding very strat like.
✌️❤️
I had a Heritage. I sold it because it didn't have much sustain and it sounded flat. Now I have a Gibson les paul classic and I am very happy with it.
Cool
Great overview! This guitar has been on my radar for a year or two now - no chance to try one in HK (that I know of) but I'm sure one day . . . before that though my next guitar will be an Eastman SB59/v. Beijing sent one and a Juliet down to Shenzen for me to check out and I love them both, definitely preferable to any number of Gibsons I have tried these last few years (including Custom Shops!). I still have my 69 LP Custom so keen to find a non Gibson 'companion' with its own personality hence Heritage & Eastman both front of mind!
Nice!! Thanks for sharing
As usual my brother, your playing is so awesome! I can listen to it all day.
Is your delay analog or digital on 3:37...)? Settings pls❤
All digital
What great guitars. And the older ones (before the sale) will only increase in value. Made in the same factory (by some of the legendary builders) that made the iconic ‘57, ‘58, ‘59 and 60’s Les Paul’s
True!
Jon nice that you know a lot of things about the history of guitar's and companies, which I also am interested in, and am in touch with. You are like my subconcious... Hahahahah :D. Very cool guitar! It's so different than Les Paul in sounds, but very cool one! Want one!!! :D. Nice playing, really the tone was so good and not thin like the stratocasters, this was the best sound for you...
Oh.. different guitars different characters.. just like people✌️❤️
Hello! thank you for the demo!
I like The Heritage standard H 150 (especially it can be customized from the factory such as 59neck/59-hybrid bridge with coil taps for each pickup) more than the most of Gibson Les Paul models. Tell me: i`m mad?
Hahaha
2 in a row lol. I have this guitar in that color too! Great instrument, better than the Gibsons in the same price point. The core models are a cut above and should be checked out if you wan a great instrument! Rock on 🎸🤘
That review is coming up
Hello Jonathan!
I find "The Heritage Standard H 150" exceptionally beautiful with its exquisite top. Also the price seems to me - compared to Gibson, who suck their customers dry like a bloodthirsty vampire! -, is reasonable for a professional guitar. The sound of the Standard H 150 convinced me with your playing, especially since you didn't bury the basic sound of the guitar under tons of gain, but let the guitar sing tastefully. The H 150 sounds nice and bluesy without losing definition. To my ears, the trebles don't sound as sharp as some Les Pauls from Gibson. If I didn't already have so many good guitars, I could be seriously interested in the Heritage Standard H 150, because the price-performance ratio really seems to be right here.
Musical greetings from Germany

Off-topic but since the title of this video is 'a alternative to' - the original artist series by ibanez is what I would go for. Those are amazing guitars, and the super 58 pickups are really nice. Unfortunately, ibanez focuses on other (artist) series these days. Bit of a shame really.
✌️❤️
The break angle of the headstock doesn't seem as severe as a LP which can only be a good thing!
Yes indeed
Man, this guitar itself didn’t know that it can be played like this!!!❤ Amazing as always. Keep up the great work!
Thanks a lot!
Lps/Copies always felt foreign to me, in the hand, sitting or standing. So I never got them. sound nice though.
Yes, it's not a Gibson, but I don't know if I'd call it a copy. If I'm not mistaken, it was built by the same machinery, in the same factory, and to the same specs as a Gibson was when they were in the same factory at Kalamazoo. The only difference being the look of the headstock and a slightly shorter horn.
Dude i have been playing them for years to this day they still feel awkward to me lol, they sound and play great though!
✌️
I have 3 Heritage guitars, a H535 and H150 20th anniversary model and a H137 - those would have been 2005 or so i think. Great guitars, especially the H535. I prefer my '93 gibson over the H150. Even though the ergonomics of Les Paul guitars are not so good, they sure have a inspiring tone. But i think you can only hear difference between guitars by reducing the signal chain (i am old school lol). and btw the term "dirty lemon burst" comes from old les pauls of which the cherry burst finish had faded.
Nice.. thanks for sharing
Very nice playing and review, I bought a H-150 last year (in black). I agree with everything that you said, but I think the neck profile is a little fat, like a across between a 50's and 60's neck. It's easy to get use to, and not noticeable after awhile.
Cool!!!
Suona come una vera Gibson, bella
✌️❤️
njir kirain chrisye yang maen,, love that demo
✌️❤️
Hi Jon! :) why he first trapezoid on the keyboard is more yellow than others? Thank
Probably camera angle
I love the heritage....I prefer the 1990's models Jon.
Great review and much love..🙏
Thank you!
It's a pretty guitar, but does the horn turn anyone else off? It just looks weird to me, but there's no doubt the quality and sound is outstanding.
It looks alright to me
Im super curious how youd compare this lp to a harley benton lp Jon! Like the sc550?
This is heavier.. sounds warmer
@@JonIsJustTooLoud thanks Jon! Have a great day!
I was born and raised in the state of Michigan, but never have been to Kalamazoo. Oh well.
Oh well.. you really should!✌️😆
I'm not the kind of person to spend that much on a guitar... I'm the kind that buys a bunch of 800-1200 guitars I'm not 100% in love with lol. I should sell em all and get a Heritage 😂
Hahaha
I love the story of the Heritage factory - a lesson given to finance !
Yes.. very interesting
Really is an alternative but we Malaysians can't afford it.✌️🙏👍
✌️❤️
when you have Jesus you too can play in His Grace like a Master
Amen to that! Godbless
I have the same guitar with bigsby and it's great but it weights 10 pounds.
nice!
My black cat is watching your fast fingers What is he thinking about?
Lol
NOPE, just another overpriced Gibbo! There are much better choices. Eastman, or better still, buy an Agile, get it plekked, upgrade the electronics, and still have change $1k!
✌️❤️
