To all you truck drivers: I have developed much respect for you and your profession because of watching this channel, so much rules and guidelines you have to follow to do your job safely. I'm not even a trucker, just average Joe out there. "May Lord bless you all and keep you safe to go back to your family".
I like the way this video is done. You don't trash talk, swearing or a few other things that so called trucking channels do. Thanks for that. Also the commentary as you are driving is what most people do as they drive. For me it was thinking those things.
I drove back in the 80's for a while, I was amazed at the mathematic illiteracy among truckers, plus nobody had the phone updates and bookings available then and generally your loads were done by calling in to a main switchboard. But I do remember a lot of guys would take a load without calling ahead to find out receiving hours as well as designated product hours. Then they would bitch and moan about having to sit for hours before unloading or on the other side, waiting to be loaded because of the warehouses designated product timing. Your a true businessman kid, keep it up, keep teaching the new crowd....maybe some of you will get paid what your worth and actually retire in something other than a run down 1970's trailer in some sink hole with 3 or 4 dead vehicles and dead tomato plants around the yard planted in old truck tires.
Carriers should pull trucks out of shipping doors more often if they can't get loaded. Make the shipper take the abuse from receivers for late service.
Man I'm loving this channel. I always wanted to be a trucker, but never pursued it. Taking flying lessons instead. But at 61, I still love seeing trucks on the road and on videos. Keep up the great contents and knowledge.

I do not touch freight. Period. I nearly got sued for $45,000 in damage on a load I had to lump myself in my first year on the road back in 2000. I was a company driver, company is now out of business, and they threw me under the trailer. If I had not kept a copy of my bills, something the old cagey trucker taught me in school, I would have been SCREWED. I had the bills signed by the shift manager stating there was no damage at time of receipt.
I used to drive truck for 36 years and I couldn't figure out why we had to keep up on logbooks as surgeons and doctors are up so many hours and if they make a mistake it's no big deal but if a truck driver makes one all hell breaks out.
You only saw Lake Norman from I-77......it actually has over 500 miles of shoreline .....it was man made back in the 60s.....by Duke Energy to cool the nuclear station........tons of nice restaurants on and around the lake........just south of your video footage is exit 25 ....Huntersville .....tons of good food ......but crowded for a rig
They told me "delivers monday" and I told them, by someone else.
I used to live in Cornelius, that marina on your right that you were talking about where the boats are lighted for Christmas that restaurant is excellent you will not be disappointed

I actually just loaded an Amcor load in Ames, IA and deliver to Amcor in Blythewood, SC Sunday morning. They do plastic bottles.. That view on I-77 is gorgeous.
You made the right choice ,you would have got stuck in Raleigh and Durham traffic and beach traffic going to wilmington,going to Dunn.

That's the way I go to Florida from Pennsylvania. 81 to 77 to 26 in Columbia SC back to 95. Love that view down there
