      Yep. This got hammered into me by my 6th grade english teacher. He was a WWII vet (didn't realize how lucky we were then to have him - he retired end of that year). Served, then went to college on GI bill while working to support a family. He said, "You'll find that every 7 years goes by twice as fast as the last 7." The older we get the more I find the truth to that statement.

Let all you hard working truckers stop rolling one day and watch this country go instantly into panic mode . The recent COVID pandemic was definitely a reality check . Whenever I see weird instructions like the the strap thing I always assume it's a "Green Room test".
    Some celebrities/musicians (or their managers) will have something random added to the green room in the list of requests for when they appear for interviews or shows, etc.
    The list usually includes allergies and diet restrictions, etc. so if they show up and the green room item is missing without explanation, they know the list wasn't fully read.

  • @fomori2
    @fomori2 3 роки тому +1

    A few things with the logo...
    Comparison and contrast can be great tools to make a logo stand out, but improper usage, as in this case, can also ruin it.
    The opposite slants on top of each other create an "X" thought in the mind. If that is not intentional then that is bad design.
    The left slant on the three makes the eyes go up and to the left, to the top of the first 'B'. Then the right slant on the first 'B'' makes the eyes go up and the right OVER the second 'B'. So reading the logo requires multiple eyes shifts in several directions and is not natural and effortless, which is what you should be striving for.
    Overall the logo looks "too busy" for a three character logo. There is too much going on to where the details of 'B's are lost. The '3' on top breaks the symmetry of the artistic design below, and it also creates a 'P' thought on the right 'B' because that part on the left is covered up.
    The individual pieces look nice and rate that "A", but put together I would give this logo a "C-" for familiarity. Nothing about this "Wows" the brain into something different because it is just noise and your brain is conditioned to filter out noise.

    Yes, it was a HOT one today. I had to wear full PPE at my receiver in Albany, GA...long pants, long sleeve shirt and all the rest. Glad it was only a few straps and no tarp! I've had vehicles overheat in summertime stop and go traffic. Not only do you shut off the AC, you roll down the windows and blast full heat. It really does make a difference...you will be miserable, but not as much as you would be on the side of the road! Years ago my sailing club visited the sailing club at Lake Kiwi for a regatta. Most boat ramps you tie up your boat and the line of tow vehicles is the line for who pulls their boats next. Not at the Kiwi sailing club. Their line is the line of boats. They pull their boat in the ramp, and then walk to get their vehicle (tying up the ramp so nobody can use it) and pull their boat. Of course, as a visitor I didn't know this. And my truck was parked down the road making for a very long walk. Never went back!

    Love your Chanel. Be careful with those smok caffeine shots, I swear I drink 3-4 Red Bulls everyday and have for a few years, one day me. My wife and in-laws were heading home from vacation, my father in laws a car hauler, I was driving and we hit traffic so later in the evening we stopped for coffee and I put 2 of those in my coffee and within 30 minutes and only a few small sips I was shaking and throwing up, those things must be loaded with something crazy lol.

    Many years ago, I hauled cotton from the Greater Phoenix AZ area to the docks at Long Beach, CA. I drove a truck trailer with a tare weight of about 30K with fuel. I picked up at a cotton gin near Tonopah, AZ and the last of the bales put me overweight at 82K gross. Everything was fine until I got to the weigh station at Banning. I was able to pull into a pullout just East of the station. Because of the volume of truck traffic, I hoped the exit to the station would fill up with trucks and the station would close until the ramp was empty. Bam, CB traffic said "Closed" and I got past. I don't know how much of a fine would have been assessed, and I don't know how I would have jettisoned the extra bales.

I wanted to move there but ok my California wife then said O NO, I'm not moving LOL so I lost out but life goes on so again, I was very impressed about Tennessee. Also ok, being an Elvis fan I been to Craceland twice and loved it. Ok, life goes on.

He had to quit school in the 8th grade a drive a milk truck after Grandpa died. He retired from OTR with 50 years experience . His CB handle was Country Gentleman❣️

    When giving your location and destination, I didn't know any town you mentioned. If you start with the closest well known city to your location and give mileage and direction from it, to where your at, then a mileage and direction again to your destination, it puts it in the old mental US map and it's easier to know the locations. Like I'm currently 20 miles due West of Detroit, In Flat Rock on the east side of Michigan. I'm going to Kalamazoo which is another 100 miles due West from there. On the left side of Michigan is Lake Michigan, which is roughly 50 miles past Kalamazoo. That's where we'll be staying over night. Just a suggestion since many people don't can't name anywhere close to as many cities as a truck driver can. So it helps us follow what you're telling us. Thanks. Great video. Jpol.

    the reason for strapping one away from the back. might be, to reduce the potential of the shift in the load. One pallet won't push as hard as a full trailer load will. My opinion only. Ha! Nice scenic route. TT04
