John Deere 40T with a Deere No. 9 sickle bar mower. May 2023

I just pickedup a #9 mower. It needs a new pitman arm and the old pitman arm is missing the "strap" with the spring that clamps onto the ball of the knife bar. Do you know what the part is called?

I just looked at my manual. They are calling it the Pitman Strap or Yolk Plunger. The part number is 60242. I hope this helps!!!
