@@daddydiesel5889 Yeah they aren't cheap, but they are definitely worth the money! And yes, I live about 30 minutes north of Detroit.
@@DOOWORKPRODUCTIONS ready for some better weather here in Toledo. I went up to Livonia Michigan last weekend and 275 was a mess, cars off the road and flipped over for miles! Guess they didn’t want to salt. Picked a good week for Florida, been raining and snowing on and off all week pretty much.

I had the front fork cartridge kit installed there as well. They did the install in about 45 mins, it would have taken me all day. They do the work so fast, they installed my front axle right side spacer backwards, had to redo the front axle when I got home.
Are you doing a full review on them later? Intrigued to hear about the differences in handling, compression, rebound and ride height
Yes, I will be doing a full review on these as soon as the weather clears up here in Michigan! I will have a new helmet camera setup by then to give you guys my full experience and POV.

Yes, they made a world of difference! 10/10 recommend. I will be doing a POV review video on these once the weather breaks here in Michigan.

I really need to come off the money and get the front and rears done on my 17 CVO Ultra! Maybe I'll get it done next year at bike week, hopefully they will be doing the free install again!

Thank you, I chose Ohlins because they are tried and true, they have been in the suspension game longer than Legends and have a better satisfaction rate.
Got mines installed on my 22 RG special a few weeks ago. I cant wait to really try them out since I live up in boston. Soon enough , like the channel. keep it up

I could be wrong on this. I thought ohlins has fully adjustable front forks. Compression, rebound and preload. Can you adjust the settings on the bottom of the forks ? Or just the top settings?
Just the top settings. They dialed it in for me based off my height and weight and riding style.
Preload is set by spring choice when building your forks. Ohlins uses their “NIX” setup on these forks in which one side is compression and the other is rebound.
I've got front and rear and it rides like a Cadillac!

I have full air ride on my 21 RGS but not 100% in love. Considering ohlin’s as a replacement. Did air to help with flat footing, I’m 5’2” with 30” inseam. Same issue with my adventure bike but it is 400lbs lighter.

Did they do the double adjustment on the rebound side (right side)? The left side (compression side) adjusted just fine. But for some reason, I was only able to do the middle adjustment with the hex (12 clicks), the other adjustment wasn’t working. It was just spinning the damn cap back loose.
From the install directions on the cartridges, it seems you have to have the settings backed all the way off before assembly into the fork tubes or you’ll end up stuck like the way you describe.
Hey man! Talking about pipes! Which one is the loudest yet best sounding pipe you´ve heard on the M8´s? I´m looking at the Stealth Turnout, but the Thunderheader sounds snasty too. What about the Graffeo 2-1 in the video? Would love to hear your input! Going to get mounted on a stage 2 RG ST 136/136 on the dyno! Cheers
Thunder Header is the loudest IMO..
Too funny had my front and rears done on my 22 RGS about an hour before yours by same two Ohlins mechanics. Great decision. My ride back up to AT much smoother like night and day.
Front suspension work is totally night and day, I know sometimes money is tight with people but I will always say if you’re gonna do the rear, you should try and do the front too. Way more stable feeling!!

@@DOOWORKPRODUCTIONS do you have a lowering kit on your bike? If so, how's it working with the Ohlins. Asking for a challengingly vertical friend. Lol.
@@KT-GoNavy No I don't. I am 5'7 and I'm not flat footed on the bike. They make a few different lowering kits for the rear, but I hear that it messes up the geometry of the bike so I never installed them. I'm used to it now.
Nice I want to do the same !! Why so much? NIX 22 Cartridge is 949.00 springs are 159.00 fluid , tools, seals 100 bucks install should have been free?
I didn't ask, I wanted them to do it because they do it every day and are professionals when it comes to suspension. They dialed them in for me based off my height and weight and riding style, and the suspension feels amazing now! Very happy with them.
nice family of bikes. 2 questions for you please. On the rear shock with remotes, can you still used back rest and luggage rack? on the blue road glide if thats a works W/S what height is it please?

Yes you can! And the blue bike has a 9" Klockwerks windshield.

Buddy, mine had their front switched over to legend ther a difference he said he staying with legend
