Brilliant watch James. I love that tip with the thermos bag, by the looks of things you can get plenty of stuff it it. A sunset or sunrise would have been perfect there but unfortunately we can’t control the weather. A great Sunday night watch 👍.
James, it's cool to be the only Geordie in the Mournes😊 Surely there is always a slope when pitching😊 though you did get a cool spot right on the summit with those superb views down over Silent Valley👍 That's definitely an impressive camping cook pack👍 Not often you get a calm summit camp in the Mournes though there is always the price to pay🦟😊

Nice camp James, I totally get deciding where to camp, at least you where limited in choices, I find it worse when you are on a hike and think, will I stop here or chance going on for another 10 mins, head melter! Those damn midges, so annoying, it must have been a pretty still morning, you think on the top of Doan you would get a bit of breeze at least! Looking forward to seeing it from David's perspective now! ATB

Great video James, keep up the good work! I’ve just upgraded from the helm 2 to the pioneer 2 purely for the build quality so look forward to see how it fairs up against the wind. Do you use an external mic on a cage for your GoPro?

@DroningaboutIreland cheers matey. It's a brilliant spot with one of the best views of the Mournes. I prefer the gopro because it has alot better stabilisation and it's user friendly. You can walk and just shot while the zv1 gives better range but you have to think about your shots abit more . Great for around camp but I like to film as I'm on the move. Would be perfect with handheld stabiliser
