We cleared our property years and years ago when there there was no clearing restrictions. This was when you could do what you wanted to do. The hours we did with dozers with chains and stick raking and burning to clear scrub country was a lot of work and cost. It was day after day trying to keep fires burning and as you can imagine there is a lot to burn. There was no one doing videos like this then. I do enjoy watching the videos, love farming keep it up Regards
I love how you guys just keep trying stuff and looking for better solutions all the time. Not afraid to change it up if the situation requires. Hope the weather gives you a good break.
I made a 120 volt grain bun fan to fuel brush fires. It will flat incinerate a pile. Don’t care if the woods green or not. Want to rig up a diesel injection system on it but these prices have stopped that.
Gotta love that 'Start ya bastard'... Use it on my boat, quad, mower... Anything not diesel... in FNQ...It gets cold up here too... about 3 or 4 days a year... Hehehehe
Only in Australia would a product actually be branded like that, lol! The only ether I've used before was branded a rather dull and simple "Easy Start," oh how imaginative.
I like it when people think out of the box That's a great idea putting the second tractor in there keep you nice and level and more traction look like tiny 3 was working pretty good All the gauges stay good you didn't say I think that's the first time we've seen it working Matt I think grasshopper kind of started your camera fell on the floor Y'all have a good week thank you for the video
My son and I farmed with a MF 4880. Love hearing the sound of that 903 Cummins. Done farming, tractor for sale...freight could be a problem shipping from Sask. Canada. Lol, TOG out!!
Back in the 80's, when I was in the Army Engineers, we had an old D8 that refused to start unless you gave it a squirt of "start ya bastard". It worked every time!
Thanks for the video Matt. I have never been on a track tractor before do the drive/ride smother than a traditional tractor just wondering. We don't have track tractors on the farm I work on.👍
They are a lot smoother over rough paddocks but can viabrate a bit, much nicer being smooth with the odd small jarring they flopping about in normal tractor😂
Quite obviously you haven't done much stickpicking!! I cut my teeth on stick and stone picking when a kid and then did a lot at my first job after leaving school at 15 and right up too we brought a sidewinder stickrack for the farm in the late 90's
Hey Matt when you are doing the resowing and you turn around at the end of the run does the plants that have already started shooting get damaged by the turning tractors
👍👍👍u blokes go all right a
Haha! The name of that starting fluid is hilarious!!
Brilliant vid👍👍

That can of wake-up fluid is branded in what I might call an internationally recognizable way.
Nice One Matt! 👍
There are holes in each of the frame rails about 3 inches around. Put a chain thru and make a loop with a chain to pull from.
Hey guys down under! Looks like it’s time for a barbecue 🥰 enjoy your videos very much thanks for making my day😇

Curious what your diesel fuel prices are down under? Here in the USA diesel is $5.50 US GOOD DAY MATES!

Another great video plenty of action thanks for sharing Matt 🦘👍
Can’t beat a sniff of “tractor crack” to wake them up on cold mornings 🤓

@@thejacksonbrothers Thanks for that Matt.
Wow Matt, your camera angle/cinematography/editing skills are moving ahead in leaps and bounds 👍
I've been taking notes, 🙄 I've got three notebooks full already and he's not done talking about the wiring 🤣😂🤣
Great video, what I wouldn’t give to be there stick picking and burning. 👍

G'day Matt great video mate
Thanks Murphy!
How much rain have you guys had this year? Seems like it’s raining every few days there. We are in a terrible drought in western Kansas.
Wiring, I'm really good with wiring ... I can turn switches on and off with the best of them🤦 ....🤣😂🤣
Appropriately named starting fluid!
Hey Matt when you are doing the resowing and you turn around at the end of the run does the plants that have already started shooting get damaged by the turning tractors
Hi John, yes they do but only a very mall percentage👍
Love the name of the easy start!
What sort of depth of soil do you have there? Do you plant any cover crops and what species of you do?
Cheers Matt.
Hi Robert, soil depth varies but usually around the 1meter mark. We don’t grow cover crops we just rely on the stubble for coverage😁👍
@@thejacksonbrothers
Cheers Matt. That's a lot of dirt. Would you consider cover crops on the future?
Ron needs a driving job not stick picking in the cold.
