    It is the first time for me to write a comment on youtube. Thanks a lot for your explanation. I saw many lectures and read a thermodynamic book, but I didn't understand the meaning of fugacity. It is amazing that I understand it just within 7 mins.

    Fugacity is explained with simple examples., and it will not be forgotten. I have seen few videos on fugacity., but all were confusing except yours. Thank you very much and keep posting more such educative videos.

    How does fugacity vary from the vapour pressure of the gas?

      Fugacity is approximately equal to the vapour pressure when the Vapour pressure is not so high

      Poonam Swami , chemical potential is used as a index for chemical equilibrium like temperature for thermal and pressure for mechanical equilibrium.
