Thank you for sharing!! So so good .. born and raised Catholic and the past 7 yrs been on a true journey with Jesus.. Thank you for explaining so well God bless you Justin!!
I wasn't raised religious, though my whole life I have experienced good and evil, I only recently picked up a bible for the first time. I was moved by many personal experiences of shocking and sometimes incredibly beautiful evil, so I knew evil existed. I believe in God now, I want to be like Jesus, though I'm reluctant to go to church. A lot of hurt has come to my family from church members. I want to be baptized but I'm not a church goer, what do I do?
There's lots of online communities I just woke up to the truth too and I'm 37.. better late than never! I'm still trying to find in person people but the Holy Spirit will give you discernment. I'm going to try a bunch of churches maybe you could too! God bless you and keep you on this path seeking after Jesus!
I hope you have found a local body that you can be a part of not only to be encouraged but to encourage. Just think of church as a hospital. We’re all sick. That’s why we’re there. Look for opportunities to encourage, give mercy, and show the love of Christ. As far as baptism goes, it doesn’t need to be done in a church building or by a pastor. Find a fellow believer that you can ask to baptize you anywhere. Until you do that, you won’t have forgiveness of sin and the power of the Holy Spirit to help you love others like Christ loved us.
It is really hard to find a good biblical church these days. I pray that you have found a good church. i am still looking myself. but until then I watch online. I have my friends that i do bible studies with and we have fellowship with. I would suggest maybe, fast and pray and then go to a few churches in your area. look them up online and read their mission statements and what they believe and teach. May the Holy Spirit guide you.
Nothing happens without faith. Faith is essential. Faith encompasses every action. The reason Peter didn’t mention it in Acts 2:38 was because their response revealed their faith. If we truly believe the message we will respond.

I can see your heart and it seems as though you have nothing but the best intentions for this video, however there’s a couple of Doctrinal issues. The main one being Acts 2:38. As you read through the chapter you can see that this is Peter preaching to the Jews who just crucified their messiah and didn’t even realize it at the time. This message was not intended for the Gentile. Acts 2:38 is a message to the Jew from Peter in light of the fact that they just crucified their messiah. Acts is a transitional book and it’s very dangerous to pull a salvation message from it because in this book salvation is slowly transitioning from the Jew to the Gentile. Romans 6:3-4 is talking about the baptism of the Holy Spirit and that takes place the moment you believe Ephesians 1:13 which states that you are sealed with the Holy Spirit the moment you believe. Believe what? Romans 10:9 and 10 - these verses apply to every person living today and the word baptism isn’t mentioned anywhere in the passage. Every times you see the word water you can not insert the word baptism and every time you see baptism you can not insert the word water. There are 7 different baptism in the Bible so it is vital that when you come across the word baptism to see which one the Bible is referring to. 1 Peter 3:21 shows why we should be baptized in water once we are saved but it has nothing to do with salvation. Always remember the old hymn “what can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.” Not what can wash away my sins nothing but the water in the baptismal pool. 1peter3:21 Baptism- is a like figure - meaning it’s a representation of something that has already happened on the inside. -not the putting away of the filth of the flesh. So why do it? To have a good conscience towards God, because when you get baptized you are being a testimony to those around you of what Christ did for you. This doesn’t come from a place of hate or anger. Like I said I think your heart is in the right place.
I thank Jesus for you guys, Holy Spirit has placed the things you guys talk about 11 years ago. Process Death and Sin are entities. Revelation's says Death and Hades "Sin" are the last two enemies to be destroyed.

I want to turn my life around I want to repent of all my sins to the Father to Lord Jesus Christ and truly receive the gift of the holy Spirit what do I need to do how do I make myself crave reading the Bible crave praying to the Father through Lord Jesus etc
You aren’t saved by water baptism. You are saved by trusting Jesus alone for salvation and being baptized by the Holy Spirit. He paid your entire sin debt.

Thankyou for the sermon, but what about getting hurt, when you weren't doing drugs and the doctor gets you addicted to pain medicine. You actually need it and if you don't take it you get deathly sick? Is that sinning. I know some people go drink alcohol to party. I take pain medication to not hurt or get deathly sick.
Because every person is a child of God, He wants all of His children to be with Him. The word Christian was used years later. See Acts 11:26 Paul preached the Gospel to the Gentiles. A Gentile is any person that is not Jewish. Upon hearing the Gospel, the Gentiles became a follower of Jesus Christ. In Antioch, because the people followed the teaching of Jesus Christ they were called Christians. The message or the good news is for mankind not just for Christians.

There is no god and Jesus didn’t exist
@@leonardshevlin7260 Jesus refers to himself as God many times you just need to know the references. Reading scripture will enlighten you to why certain things are written elsewhere. When it comes to knowledge, Jesus said “Have you not read?” Also he said “He who has ears, let him hear.” I pray as I write this, that your questions were sincere and you will be drawn to read God’s word with a softened heart.
@@RandallMNixon Many times? Well, that settles it!
The gospel of John says that Jesus is God.
If you could cite passages in the synoptic gospels instead of lying it would be less annoying.
@@RandallMNixon If you know the references, cite them.
Cite Mark! Cite Luke! Cite Matthew!
I know that John claimed that Jesus was God.
According to the gospel of Thomas, young Jesus blinded and killed people.
Jesus didn't blind or kill people and Jesus never claimed he was God, and never chatted with a condemned thief, and never said or did hugely significant things that are in one gospel but only one.
Use the brain evolution gave you.
How can adults get baptized?!
By another person (believer) by placing them under water in Jesus name.
