He is hella adorable and wholesome! I love how he is just having fun with it and laughing with his friend, despite the difference in the way they perceive the world. I found the two glasses banging exceptionally interesting, because he had no idea that the sound of glass is very high, and instead he imitated the vibrations he felt. Even his deaf laugh is very cute. Would like to see more of this guy showing us how he sees the world!!
I remember being with my sister and grandma at this weekend event during summers. It’s like a mini fair lol. Anyways, they always have bands playing classics, rides, games, all sorts of stuff. Well it got towards the night and I just remember someone lift me up and it was my uncle lol. He was born deaf. I think I was like 8yrs old at the time.
Anyways, he put me down and we went back to watching the bands play. He suddenly gets up to grab two balloons. He handed me one and he started nodding his head to the music. It was something so small that made me think like damn, he’s still happy despite his condition. He even was tryna mimic the beat and started cracking up cuz I was surprised he got it spot on lol.

Wait, it actually is fascinating how deaf people can hear, I mean not hear hear, but feel the soundwaves and then determine how they would sound like.
Fr, and what's almost more fascinating is that we were able to tell that just from the way he made those sounds.
@YamFestival No, I figured out that deaf people are incredibly smart giving the fact that they lack organs to receive soundwaves, but are still somehow capable of recreating that sound pretty ACCURATELY. 😙
@YamFestival stop using /s /srs /pos i disabled the server commands
Don’t be mean
It's because all of our sense are combined. Our brains are built to take in as much information as possible to be aware our surroundings.
So to explain it little better, because he doesn't have hearing, his other senses need to pick up the slack and are much more sensitive, because his brain is attempting to again, take on as much sensory information as possible to assess his surroundings.
Sound is one of the more phenomenal things in the universe because like light it has many different wave lengths. You don't just hear it, you feel it. Our bodies evolved to "feel" sound so our brains would be able to better identify our surroundings and have a better chance of surviving. Our bodies are incredible things!
Eyesight is pretty mind boggling as well. I believe the one thing Darwin struggled to explain during his study of evolution was the evolution of eyesight, or eyes, as have many other scientists as well. There are a lot of articles you can look up on the matter.
But that is why the man in this video is able to portray the sounds actually pretty decently. His other senses are filling the gap where his hearing, or lack thereof, cannot. It's a little off but close enough to the point where he can be aware of his surroundings to the best of his brains ability to provide him that necessary information.
He is such a sweetheart and his smile is contagious 😇
The little laughs he does after each just makes it more funnier, such a lovely guy
Why is this so cute to me 😭 protect this mans please

He can't distinguish between high and low tones. Other than that, good job mate
He seemed to hit the same pitch of the glasses ringing though.
I mean he might be able to if he's the one doing it. After all it does feel different talking in a super high voice vs low voice. (Also his moth impression sounded a bit lower than the air freshener for example)
That’s why Deaf people sound unusual when they speak - because that’s how we sound to them.
Well the problem is that he can't hear himself so even the sound he makes he can't be accurate with his tone
Wait am i missing something? Deaf means you cant hear shit right?
This guys energy is electric
Man this is the most wholesome video of 2021 so far. Happy to see mostly supportive, open mindedness and understanding comments of what’s being documented.
That look after he makes the noise you know he saying “Bro that shit sound exactly the same and you know it” 😂
Considering he can't actually hear the tones, he's spot on! He nails all the reverb and decay. The spectrograph probably is closer than I can imitate.
Except for that moth tho 😂
@@skthechef8075 yeahh 😭 he couldn’t feel it
@@skthechef8075 moths are too quiet, meaning they have little to no vibration that he can feel, to accurately mimic. Unlike the brush where he can feel the small thuds each part when they hit his fingers

I hope he does more videos. It's interesting and helps us hearing people to look at life differently and to understand what it's like to be deaf. He makes it fun with his expressions plus he has a great smile and way about him.
I thought the same, it said part three at the beginning, I wonder where the other videos are? 😁
You learn a lot just being around people who are deaf! Deaf people have a lot more expression in their faces because they necessarily use words to describe how they feel. Since they can’t hear how they pronounce things. My uncle is deaf but he still tries to pronounce words while he signs.
that was heartwarming and made my day brighter than it already is

His laugh makes me think that maybe hearing people's laughs are influenced by what they observe from other people laughing. Maybe if that wasn't the case people would have much more variety in laughter and deaf guy's laugh perhaps more common.
This is absolutely true!! You can observe this with sneezing too! We adapt our sneezing because we hear other people do it
As someone who has a young baby, we definitely learn by mimicking, her laugh is often her just copying my laugh, her tone is my tone, her pronouncians are mine, ect. Its really insane how you really just have a little you who mimics you to learn almost everything pertaining communication.
@@iWantToBelieve... sometimes I let out a real laugh. If u wanna laugh just think about doing what ur mouth feels good doing rather than how u usually laugh, and u will just sound somewhat similar to the guy in the video (or not)
I think this is true, I noticed that when I laughed I would control it so that it wouldn't sound too "weird". When I just allowed myself to laugh as "weird" as I wanted whenever I genuinely found something funny, I noticed that I had a completely different laugh than I thought. My "fake laugh" is just a bunch of polite "heh heh's", my real laugh is a loud cackle that is often accompanied by snorts. I've really grown to love it :)
He seems like a truly adorable person. What a gem.
This dude is so wholesome😂I’m studying sign language and the deaf culture in school, it’s nice to see deaf people being treated like everyone else, because they ARE everyone else:) a deaf person can do just as much, if not more than a hearing person can in some cases. Same with many disabilities and disorders, like my ADHD and tourrettes:) don’t ever let anything like this get you down, you are an amazing unique person:)
Prince zuko your uncle iroh still wants you back at his tea shop
Love how cute he is, just laughs after making the sounds💕
these are so interesting to watch because of the way he can obviously feel the vibrations of a lot of the sounds he’s mimicking, so he just has to try to match those vibrations with his voice, and he does a really good job!
I had a friend introduce me to his deaf brother. (I was a singer for many yrs so know all about oms and oscillation. ) I was singing for this family at a bbq. I gave the deaf brother a can of beer as a “microphone” for me. He felt the vibration and was so appreciative bless him..
Dude someone should invent something like this... Like, a vibration amplifier. Sounds a lot like a hearing aid of course but the output would be touch-focused instead of sound. A "hearing glove" I'd say.
Was he holding the beer to your mouth like a mic or was he sitting with everyone else and could feel the vibrations in the can from there?!
@@Hana1LuLu the can resonates with the sound, i'd imagine they may have been holding the can and paying attention ('listening') to the way it reverberated against their hands.
