I've only just come across your channel but I do enjoy the content very much and this video has made me realize how hard it can be to be deaf and i found it really unprofessional how the manager acted twords you in that situation i dont understand why he was so rude it shocked me i found this video eye opening and i hope that the experience is better the next time i wish u both very well and i hope more people see this video
When I worked at Sonic, I remember a deaf couple coming and I took their order on paper, and while their food was being made I looked up how to sign "Have a nice day". When I did it for them after bringing them their food, their smiles were better than any tip I made the entire time I worked there.
That’s unprofessional. Saying that without any proof. That’s why I don’t have respect on any manager in general from any store. Also supervisor. Most of them are assholes.
yeah. hes had to deal with ableism his whole life and unfortunately, that kind of desensitizes you to these "smaller" kind of acts of discrimination/microaggressions. for a person who hasnt had that desensitization, its easier to be appalled at how little decency and how unwilling to put any effort in people can show.
@@rosespuffpuff when you're deaf, you can't hear your own voice or the voice from others and we learn speaking through listening. he makes those sounds when he moves his mouth and that shows he actually talks while doing sign-language but he can't hear it and don't know how to say it or how it should sound. hope it's understandable what i said^^
I used to work at a builders merchants, one day we got a phone call, it was odd - The phone rang, then it rang again, the man spoke and said he was translating, whilst talking to the customer through an online chat and dictating what he said. I gave the man my time. He then apparently drove to our shop, 3 hours from his home (In the UK, that's half the country...) to purchase the goods from us, because I gave him my time, and didn't hang up the phone. He didn't need to do that, there were at least 50 shops selling the same item as us closer to home for him. That was the day I truly learned the struggles of deaf people. They just want to be heard and respected like everyone else. As they should be. Thanks for sharing your videos. It really does help the abled to see how hard basic things can be.
This shouldn't be ignored I think other people should understand what it's like being born deaf and see if that person is from another planet.🤔 I don't like it!😡 They should be treated the same way just like people who can hear.😱💯
There are services for this purpose - people who can be your ears and voice, people who can be your eyes. That was probably the voice on the phone, helping as a medium between you and the actual customer
riiiightttt i would just give them the food and how would you know if he is deaf or not u are getting the money for the food so why not do yur job and respekt them argh
That one guy that started the shift and they sent him to deal with you guys, he needs a raise or something, the only one who put in the work and actually cared about you guys.
@@jordannowings3035 why does it matter though? We cant let those assholes ruin it for the people who are actually deaf and deserve to be treated with respect. Like, what's the worst that can happen anyways if they are faking it? You communicate via phone or pen and paper, they get their food just like an actual deaf person would, and they're on their way. They arent going to get free food just for being deaf, so for real, what's the problem?
"He's faking it" That was so disrespectful. If they had a disability, whether is be big or small, would the person saying that want others to think he's faking it?
Gabriela Soltero Honestly with the amount of people who mess with the drive thru employees and they usually hate their job. And the probability of them ever encountering a deaf customer their entire time working there would be 0-1 their entire time there unless they have a regular one there. So it’s no surprise they would assume that he would be faking it since I think it was the guy who came it when he’s just asking him to write it down. And remember they don’t know sign language so all the guy sees is him giving him a sign to write it down. And the girls saying he can’t hear you. I’ve seen a video of a kid pretending to be deaf it got so many dislikes I think he deleted the video couple years ago and he gave them a paper to read and they took the order no questions asked and wrote back the amount. But the second drive thru they went to they were saying he was faking it and he started laughing then he just sped out of the drive thru... They did not have any other people in line either if it was empty so idk why the girl didn’t just write down the order it was there written down.
@@velvetmidnight9535 just because someone fakes a disability (whichis illegal), doesn't give anyone a right to assume all disabilities are fake. It's like if a white guy stole from a store; would it be morally correct for the owner of said store to be rude to all white guys because of it? No. Just because there are fake service dogs out there, does it give a right to businesses to refuse service to a disabeld person with a service dog? Federally, no. Because faking a disability, as well as faking a service dog is as illegal as impersonating a law enforcement officer. And if they hate their job, they need to get a new one instead of taking it out on customers, especially disabled customers. There is no excuse for insulting someone apart from the person who is doing it is a disgusting person who should not be working with people in general.
VelvetMidnight you act like deaf people are rare or something... tbh if restaurants were more accommodating they’d probably see a lot more people who can’t speak, im sure plenty avoid these places for exactly this reason

I never knew the deaf community goes though discrimination until I took ASL 1 and my teacher brought attention to this, I’m sorry this happens. I wish us humans could have more compassion and put ourselves in someone else situation regardless of what it is.
It's funny that for people like most of us watching this video, including you and I, it would be unthinkable to even consider being deaf to be a reason for discrimination. I am so grateful for my hearing, I can't imagine being mean to somebody who doesn't have it. On the bright side, the general reaction also goes to show that a few bad apples won't affect the growth of the metaphorical apple tree that is our common values and respect for one another. I wish a good day to the video creator and the people who came to watch it. 🫂
Not to mention throwing it away and remaking it only hurts them on the end bc they're only getting paid for one and loosing the ingredients and money for two.
It’s reasonable to suspect that though. He’s probably thinking it’s either a prank otherwise he could just come inside to order. Drive thru pranks are super common, I probably would’ve been suspicious as well.
@@misters1r900 But that kind of "prank" isn't malicious or anything. Like, how would that waste their time or whatever? You know? They wasted their own damn time throwing the food away. I'm surprised McDonalds doesn't have some training with this. Do they really think deaf people don't want the convenience of a drive through?
i had a deaf regular at the mcdonalds i worked at and he just typed out his order in notes app, showed it to me, i put it in. everything was smooth and he was always really nice

When my granddaughter was 16, she worked for Brahms Ice Cream Store in the drive through. A deaf person would come through and write down their order. My granddaughter wanted so desperately to talk to this person so she took it upon herself to learn just enough ASL to communicate with the person who frequented the store. On the day the person returned, my granddaughter spoke in ASL and the person was so excited they cried. Later, my granddaughter received a raise and promotion because the person wrote management and told of the effort she had put in to communicate with them. I was so proud of her!
The rage I feel at this is unbelievable. Even if he was faking it, taking an order off the phone isnt hard. Its infuriating. Thank you for sharing and I am sorry you have to deal with people like this.
From experience, I can tell you that taking an order off of a phone is EXTREMELY tedious and difficult unless you take it and hold it yourself. They were being extremely problematic when the girl could’ve just told them the order
@@shadowhawkrine1947 I can tell you from experience, did such calls all the time in IT support, which is a wee bit more complex than ordering fries, a burger and a drink or two. If my half-deaf ass can do it through -45 db of hearing loss and tinnitus, someone allegedly able bodied should be able to as well. Rather than bringing a minder to do things for one, as you'd hobble others with. Tell me, when my hearing flags more, since my wife of over 41 years is dead, who do I bring as a minder to do my ordering for me? Or am I just to starve, like a meek little disabled veteran should? Or lose patience entirely, given at my age, life without the possibility of parole and the death penalty hold very little deterrent value...
That really warmed my heart when she said that and it looked like he didnt even hesitate whatsoever he just said yeah I just want to be able to go through, I think they're going to stay a happy couple and truly will have kids someday and get married
Yeah but at the same time, YOU JUST BOUGHT FOOD RIGHT?!?!? SO WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE BUYING A CONSUMER PRODUCT DOESN'T MATTER AND THAT MONEY DOESN'T EITHER! EAT THE FAMN FOOD FOR GODS SAKE! AND PLEASE DON'T WASTE SOMETHING YOU JUST BOUGHT! I just don't really see a point in doing this stuff including the part where she said that this is for the viewers, if it's really for the viewers then you need to go to the full extent and have other people understand that deaf people might have to go through this stuff. Us the viewers need to feel how hard it really is to live this type of way even if it is the small things in life like a hamburger. But yeah just an interesting video in all.
Mr. spicy ice of you watched the video, he ordered two but only got one, he wasn’t going to waste the burger, she was simply saying she’d get him a better one instead of dealing with trying to get the one they forgot to give him. He literally ate the burger. Why are you so hostile?
Mr. spicy ice yeah, definitely, though they’re burdening themselves by spending their precious time to make a video for them. It’s the viewers that shouldn’t make them do this burdensome task. Although we may now understand the circumstances, it’s still hits me in the back of the head in which if I were the viewer who asked that, I’d genuinely feel terrible for putting them through this.
I used to work at Tim Hortons. I was at the window, and was taught to be as fast as possible regardless of how it affects our customer's experience. A deaf guy pulled up to the window, and I was forced to stop being so fast. I took his order since he had it on his phone. His order was taking "too long" according to my manager and she got all pissed at me because our times were suffering due to this guy that couldnt hear. I felt like shit because of my manager yelling at me, and how she had absolutely no sympathy for the guy. I can imagine the shit deaf people have to deal with on the day to day just based on that experience.
As a canuck, all those drive thru timers can go down the toilet, for all I care. 22 seconds per order, seems to be the average at most places. On slow days I've had managers get in the car and loop through ordering canned soft drinks, and do that repeatedly, to keep their numbers up, or so they didn't look as bad as the other franchises in the area... They don't care that accessibility to service is not only moral, but usually mandated. I give everyone as much time, as they need.
Thats how everyone should act. Showing how badly the others are acting is why these videos are being made. Hopefully more will be more understanding and kind like the 1 that did act so understanding and kindly.
When I worked at taco bell I always took people with disabilities very seriously, when the deaf came in and ordered on there piece of paper, I would give a thumbs up to let them know there ready to pay and they'd pay and thank me in sign language. I always smiled when they came to order because there always super positive people. When there food is done I'd always delivered there food to there table directly and they smile back. It's not really anything special honestly but they make my day.
probably doesn't help that it's now a popular prank to troll drive through employees... and it makes it worse with people with actual challenges to be taken seriously
Prank or not, their behaviors is actually why people are filming these kinds of videos....to bring awareness on how they treat deaf people. Assuming they're faking it and stuff is so rude.
I love how your wife wants to speak up for you when you were so disrespected. She has so much self control to keep it together for the sake of the video. Bless you both
She should've played deaf if she doesn't say shit to help the workers out there. They were also disrespecting the workers by making a show out of having a deaf guy trying to order something. If she wasn't there it would be a different story, but since she understands everything and doesn't say a word, if I worked there I would feel clowned as well like "Hey, you can clearly see we're struggling here, please help out? We are on work and have got shit to do and places to be, those burgers don't be gonna flipping by themselves" sth like this, I can see why they're mad...
Why tf would the employees think he's faking his disability? Like out of all the places to fake a disability why would someone go through a drive thru??
Fr like it’s not like it’s rlly rare to be deaf or maybe blind etc. like people have these disabilities you should take it seriously no matter if u think they r faking or not you have a job and you need to be responsible
👑Yes, that's why it's called a drive through for people who don't have to come in and order and who's in a rush but none of that really matters since McDonald's takes long 2 serve the food anyways👑
I don’t understand why the cashier couldn’t just read the order on his iPhone screen and just treat it like every order she got that day. Are the employees not allowed to read? It’s so weird and disrespectful to this young man who did nothing wrong. I hope that at the very least someone from corporate apologized to him and retrained the staff at that location. I work retail and I’ve had a few deaf customers in my store, but every time they would tap on their ear I knew that meant they were hearing impaired, and I just ring them up and did what I always do, it didn’t affect any part of the transaction, as customers with any disabilities don’t affect any part of my job. I’m glad that my work wouldn’t treat someone with hearing difficulties like this.
The part about the cashier, I think it's because you are supposed to order at the intercom and just pass by the window to get your things and pay. Also because is an unusual situation, so probably she thought would be better to ask her manager.

Y'all know those paper menus that people can bring home? When I worked as a waitress, I would laminate them and bring an expo marker, just in case a deaf customer would come in. I would give the person the menu and marker and have them circle what they want. It was much easier than writing, and had a lot less waste.
This video is really old and I’m late but I remember working in retail and I was walking around asking if people needed help. I came up to this lady who motioned that she was deaf. I don’t know sign language but wanted her to know that help was there if she needed. I printed off a blank piece of receipt paper asking if she needed help finding anything. We did our best air writing letters and she asked my opinion, holding up shirts and I gave a thumbs up or down if I liked it. My manager thought it was a wholesome interaction and I got a special discount for it, but to me I was just helping the way I would for anyone else. 4 years later, I hope he’s not dealing with too much of this.
Same thing I thought. No reason needed. If it was down to me. I would have a bunch of people go thru the drive-thru with their orders on paper as a way to protest.
I bet you some people are shocked a deaf person can drive. It's a lack of education and lack of wantimg to inform yourself. I'm really disappointed at the employees, like... What's the problem? Are they not able to read his phone and just take the order? It's an over complication of a something really simple.
@@TophMajora Well, honestly, I was really surprised to see that a deaf person can drive (I had to look it up). I just think hearing is an important part of driving safely. I can imagine not being able to hear other people beeping their horns could be potentially very dangerous
I remember working at a chain clothing store when a person walked in. I asked if i could help her, and she tapped her ear and shook her head.... I immediately switched to sign (took 2 yrs in college... forgot a lot in the years between). But I tried to help her and she got what she needed. Afterward, my boss asked about my signing and asked why I didn't identify myself as bilingual... i answered, "Because the languages listed didn't include ASL, and there wasn't an option to input it manually." This seems to be a widespread issue in retail and food service

TheCat WithNoHat right! I always wanted to learn the language but the US sucks by not making these kinds of languages implemented in the school system , make it affordable to learn or accessible for people .

The first employee and the guy who came to your window were really kind. "He can't hear you, he's deaf!" That was really nice of her to take his disability SO seriously. The manager was so rude.
Nicolas Bruh, one I went to McDonalds and there was just this random newborn baby lying on the floor. I asked an employee about it and they said it was a dude just being a baby.
@@asw453 Arguably not the 'bare minimum'. The guy could have just gone back out and said the order was thrown away or couldn't be processed. He thought on his feet and put the order in again so that they couldn't throw it away. The other workers were trash, but employee 4 saw something he didn't think was right and acted to correct it. He still deserves recommendation for that, right?
I work at McDonald’s and this deaf lady comes every week. She either places a mobile order or she has someone in the car speak for her. Never had any issues
But that's the thing. Not every deaf person should be expected to make a mobile order before they go to a restaurant. If able-bodied people can do it, why are people with disabilities being judged for doing the same thing? Just because it's inconvenient? People shouldn't be judged based on whether or not they bring "inconvenience" to us. My bad if this wasn't your intention, I just wanted to expand on your point because I think people might take it the wrong way.
Hearing that employee said "he's faking it" and then finding out they threw away your order made me feel sick to my stomach... When I worked as a receptionist, the delivery man was deaf and it only made me WANT to learn ASL so I could properly thank him.
And what’s so difficult about them reading the screen and typing in the order and then writing down how much you owe?? Ridiculous. I used to have a deaf customer come into our pet store with a Boogie Board and I would write messages back to him to recommend new foods for his pet. It’s really not any more difficult than just talking and it’s common decency. I’m sorry they treated you like this.
My friend experienced this one time while working and she got in trouble for taking their phone and putting in the order her manager told her its policy not to take orders that are not verbal through drive thru for some reasons for protection of the employees idk
Mya Arriaga it’s weird because right on the speaker where you order at McDonalds it says “if you are hearing or vision impaired please pull forward to the window” yet they don’t really help at the window 🧐
well, people don't usually meet deaf people and when I did once I actually spoke even though she couldn't hear me and I kinda felt awkward and idk I didn't know what to do because I've never had to deal with that before.
The guy paid, the guy is deaf. Why does it matter if he's deaf? He paid/going to pay for his food then give him his food lol. It's none of your goddamn business anymore on what he's doing.
I've never consumed any media that was made for educational reasons by deaf people and randomly got this video recommended from four years ago. I couldn't stop watching it, way past my lunch time at work (work from home) and got teared up a little. I feel like I'm gonna be watching a lot more from you, very interested to see how the experience has changed in the past 4 years since this was uploaded.
Gotta say, huge props to the employee who actually cared. He took you seriously, and made sure that you got your food after his coworkers made substantial efforts to make sure you wouldn't get what you ordered. He showed basic human decency that the rest of them wouldn't.
It's sad we have to give praise to those that treat others as human, I think ASL should be a special in middle school/elementary (like music/art/gym) and a required class throughout high school like the other standard classes (History, Math, etc)
Are you kidding? Huge props for doing their job? No wonder why we have millions of lazy shits who want to work from home or do not want to come out. Give them a stimulus check, a mask and a vaccine shot and tell them to sit in the corner and stop taping this shit. DEAL OR NO DEAL
@@mrautomatic9087 it's more like, huge props to the one guy who was a good person and cared, rather than being a horrible person, who gets pissed at everything, like you
Who would fake being deaf, that just doesn't make any sense. This kind of people (non-accomodating, rude, unprofessional....) shouldn't work with people
Yeah typically people only fake things that get them benefits - like people faking that their dog is a service dog so they can bring them with them. People don't typically fake things that actually makes their life harder with no benefit!
I'm mute because of trauma and dysphoria and just overwhelmingly bad mental health and the sign for mute isn't known at all to the majority of the public and loads of people have a go at me for not talking so once or twice when I don't want to deal with bs i sign deaf instead of mute because its more commonly known and people get off my back. I feel really bad but people just don't understand mutism and often i just want people to get out of my face. I don't like doing it because i feel like I'm being disrespectful but at the same time it's the only way people take my mutism seriously. Does that make me a bad person or is it justified?
Unfortunately, that's the main type of person they hire at grocery stores and fast food places anymore. When I was a teenager and a younger guy, typically very nice teenagers and older people worked in those places. Now it's just a bunch of rude a**holes who don't care about the customer's experience at all. Nine times out of ten, when I thank them for handing me my food, they just ignore me. The manager in this particular video should be fired for his very bad take on the situation.
Just wanted to say that even though this was 4 years ago, I’m glad there’s people like you trying to inform people on the struggles of being deaf, I really hope people like these workers end up learning a thing or two in ASL
Yeah, you have to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe someone is faking it as a youtube prank, maybe they deal with stupid teens screwing around late at night, but you have to go in thinking that if someone tells you that they're deaf then they're telling the truth.
From my own personal experience of living with mobility issues, a lot of times it's less about their ability to accommodate and more about their willingness.
@@kpopnoonanikki9211 yes I understand, it just upsets me so much that they didn't believe him. And I am sorry if you have ever been treated like that, it's just so horrible.
When I worked at the casino near me and I was handling hundreds of people in the span of an hour, I had a gentleman fake ASL to me. Me, not knowing hardly any, went to call for my coworker which is when he dropped the act. He was kind but my God did I panic a bit, especially since his body language came off as irritated at the time. That experience, however brief and trivial, made me want to learn ASL so that I can communicate with whoever might need it. I love seeing people's faces when they're happy to be served in a way that feels unique and personal ❤️ Regardless, establishments should have people on hand who know different methods of communication and should make use of these people when necessary. If there isn't someone who can help accommodate, then they should strive to do the best that they can. Proper training is important, understanding and awareness is important.
The McDonald's workers threw the food away so they had to make it again? And then they only gave one burger even though you ordered 2?! Wtf is wrong with people?
It sucks when the fast food places in your area are full of rude immature employees. Yes it is fastfood and they hire mostly younger but damn it sucks when all you wanted was some hot fries.
He wrote down his order on his phone. I don’t understand what was so hard about just putting that order in. They didn’t even need to know SL. They were just being assholes.
Claudia Herrera i take ASL at the moment and it’s not fun just because of the teacher. I believe it would be better if we didn’t have a bitchy teacher tbh.
This is like when someone types in the chat that they can't here the audio in an online class, and then the teacher verbally gives them instructions of how to fix it.
That guy was a real ***. Thankfully not everyone is like that. Thank you for the video. I don't have your special abilities and when I'm treated poorly, I often leave the place, so thank you for putting up with poor treatment for us.
I can’t believe that guy said “he’s fakin it” that is just plain out disrespectful that pisses me off. All though I can’t read sign language I can understand he is annoyed at this encounter with to my guess is the manager. At least the guy at the end was polite and tried the best he could.

I used to work at mcdonalds and there was this deaf man. Whenever he came into the store no one would want to take his order other than me and like two other people. He always ordered almost the same thing every time. A medium coffee and an eggmcmuffin and sometimes a hash brown. Well I decided to learn how to sign have a great day and his face just lit up and he signed thank you and it honestly made my day and I think his as well. When I did work there, they were not nice to some customers. But yeah, I tried my very hardest to know some basic signs. Thank you, please, sorry, yes, no, more. It takes some time yeah, but it's much easier if you know some basic signs. Even if you don't just learn to be patient with them and work with them so they can get their food.
I work customer service at a major retailer. I have customers that wait for me to take care of them because they learned I want to and am trying to learn ASL. So one of the ladies tries to show me a new sign related to my work when she's in. I ran into her at a gas station and she (all in fun of course) "quizzed me." I got the sign wrong, she showed me the correct sign (I was so very close), and we had a good laugh about it. My deaf customers are probably the easiest and nicest people I deal with, and I look forward to waiting on them when I see them.
i think we don’t realize how lucky we are to actually be able to hear, see, and speak... watching this video was kinda hard, glad the guy at the end was kind enough to start over the order even though they had thrown it!
Exactly. Refusing service on the basis of a disability or asking them to use a different service because it is more convenient for the restaurant is discrimination and can lead to way more trouble for a business than the "inconvenience" of helping them.

Yes! Thank you. You've got to have respect for people and believe them. Like, I don't like it when people tell me, "I wasn't there so I didn't see what happened." or "Well, what you are stating is just your "perception."
It broke my heart when he said it’s embarrassing for him. It should be embarrassing for all the stupid unkind people in the world who make it difficult for you. They are the embarrassments. Not you. More power to you! ❤️❤️
My thoughts exactly. I took a lot of embarrassment and mortification upon myself for years as a hard of hearing person. I had hearing aids stuffed in my ear without being accommodated (face me and don't mumble and please speak UP) and was expected to be able to hear and move in the hearing world just like everyone else. Pfft. It doesn't work that way.
That’s crazy, deaf ppl are one of the sweetest people out there. I love serving them in customer service cuz we are both smiling even tho I don’t know sign language I always will give them a paper and a pen and after they order I will write “you have a great day :)” it’s really not that hard to be nice
That first guy was really nice. He came out and took your order. I bet the others didn’t care. But he explained what happened and did your order gain even after they threw it out.
Those people should get fired, “He’s faking it” that made me so mad and then they threw away his order!! The only nice guy was the guy who gave him the food he was working with him
I'd send an email to headquarters and report the whole scenario you have proof of the situation. It's just bull that manager should lose his job. That's discrimination.
Also note about the guy who served you if you do! He deserves a raise for still making sure you at least got some of your food and treated you like an actual person.
McDonald’s drive through restaurant has a system of taking orders and a window where they just give you food and take your payment If they decided to take your orders they will basically have you wait there, make the shakes, give it to you holding back the people behind you, the people behind you ordered with the person talking so they probably already have their order ready. This deaf couple standing there is holding up the line if they decide to walk to the ringer and load up the orders and make you the shake then bring it to you in the same window that would be basically just waiting over the counter kind of wait. I don’t think they were tryna be hard on them
Complete absence of common sense. Course, working in fast food you become mechanical in your efforts, given the amount of repetition of "can I take your order?" and such.
i dony understand why its so hard for them. i worked at mcdonald’s and there was a deaf guy that came all the time. he always ordered the same thing and everytime i saw him i just smiled and put it in for him and gave him his receipt so he knew i put it in right. i would even write on the receipt to have a good day and thank you. he was sweet. this is so sad someone would say he is faking it.
To be fair, I wouldn’t be surprised if people did actually come and fake this as a prank or dare or something, but nevertheless, it’s better to treat this situation seriously all the time rather than carelessly all the time.
@@liss2110 Right, but it's better to take the moral route anyways :/ pranks are annoying but they aren't that common. it's better to show respect in any situation. it INFURIATED me that they accused him of faking.
the thing is, even if hypothetically it was a prank and he wasn’t deaf, what’s wrong with taking the order? it’s typed right there on the phone, there’s nothing stopping them from making the food. having them park and wait only holds the line up more.

I gave the man my time. He then apparently drove to our shop, 3 hours from his home (In the UK, that's half the country...) to purchase the goods from us, because I gave him my time, and didn't hang up the phone. Honestly with the amount of people who mess with the drive thru employees and they usually hate their job.

I would give the person the menu and marker and have them circle what they want. It was much easier than writing, and had a lot less waste.
That’s such a great idea!!!

@@TophMajora Well, honestly, I was really surprised to see that a deaf person can drive (I had to look it up).

Yeah, you have to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe someone is faking it as a youtube prank, maybe they deal with stupid teens screwing around late at night, but you have to go in thinking that if someone tells you that they're deaf then they're telling the truth.
@@OfficialSeth yes exactly.

Regardless, establishments should have people on hand who know different methods of communication and should make use of these people when necessary. Annabeth Yeung exactly, I saw a video once , about a men who did a prank about being blind and then ask people for change
Thats why I hate pranks, they are actually harmful sometimes.
Wow love your pfp
Actually, even if he's faking it, they still need to treat him like a normal customer ,wtf?
