Does this add strain to the PS pump? I'd like to keep my power steering but this boat ratio needs to go. My s2000 makes driving my civic feel like driving an actual pirate ship.
I don’t think is should not because it’s equivalent to having an normal oem configuration except you will be able to turn the output shaft from this device faster so it’s as if you were turning the wheel faster. But while using it you will not need to turn it faster because you drive the same way as before except when you do a quick counter steer. During that with the normal configuration you will still need to move the wheel fast otherwise you loose control. So the difference is in a critical situation when this device will enable you to maintain control while with the normal it would not be possible to turn it that quickly. With a hydraulic rack a quick turning I don’t think it affects the pump in any way. With a EPS the motor will try to spin fast(during a quick counter steering) with higher initial torque but still it should be no problem
I had a 2004 Nissan 350 Z grand sport and the steering was very direct. I was wondering what this Product make a 1970 mustang boss 302 feel very direct when you’re driving it on the street?
These are made to be installed by a metal fabricator and are not specific to any make or model car. A race car parts vendor should have no trouble hooking you up with the product and person capable of installing it for you. It is simple but requires cutting and welding fabrication

I did not notice any strain on the ps pump, it increases the steering effort noticably when the car is not in motion

Rack and pinion steering would be needed
to anyone else reading this: it increases the steering effort a lot, so it wouldn't be viable on non-powersteering cars
