Sorry to reply so late +Alex Jones. . . Yeah, the kit is pretty good. You can even just fold it and bring it somewhere, it saves lots of space, and the sound it produce is really good. You'll be fine with this kit. :-)

Hello Anjello, apologies for the delayed reply. I was really busy at school this past few weeks. For me, I would really recommend the DM Lite especially if you want your kit to be transported easily from one place to another and the sound of it is really good which you can plug in directly to your camera to record it. The only down side that I noticed was that you can't do cross stick on it which I believe you can do with Ringway TD82, to give dynamics in your playing. It's still up to you on what you're going to buy as gift for your brother. Thank you so much for watching my video as well. :-)

I just connected my drum kit straight to my dslr ( Nikon D3200/ any camera will do ) You'll need 3 pieces of Splitter and 3 pieces of Aux. So you can connect it to your phone/mp3, to your camera, and drum kit. No editing has been done on this video. :-) Have a great day!

Medyo fragile lang po ung sa Cymbals nya ( Saktong bigat lang po ng pagpalo ang gawin ). Pero all in all po, maganda talaga sya. All ages po ito, para sa akin. :-) Try ko po na gumawa ulit. :-)

hey bro, i have the same kit, check it out on my channel. based on my experience, it took a lot of getting used to it, until it grows on you, it's feels real smooth, actually too smooth for my liking, but it is decent tho, it can really take a beating.

This kit is durable if, you know how to treat this kit well and to not hit it that hard as it gives a good response even though you don't hit it that hard. Of course you can. As what I've said just treat it good and it will last for years. Yes, you can directly connect this to a speaker and at the same time you can use a headphones while playing it. :-)
I'm looking to get the DM Lite as a starter kit. Is it worth it? I can't affford any more than what the kit costs and need a quieter option than an acoustic kit.
Hello Dale! It would be a nice choice for a starter kit. Yes, this kit is all worth it and not it's just all about the kit, it's how you treat the kit. This is very portable as well. I just brought this kit with me from the Philippines and all the way here in Australia. Cheers! :)
Thanks! I do notice in a lot of videos including yours, that people are able to get a really good quality sound of it, which I like. I have tried this and one of the Roland kits and they all sound awful so it must be because I don't know how to play. I will need to practice to get as good a tone as you!
No worries! Yeah, this kit produce a good quality sound even though it's just a small kit. For me, the feel and response of the roland is less, than the alesis kit.
