Honestly the mean feedback makes me so angry -- I love your channel because it is REAL it shows what you are going through. I have been there when I am spiraling and hyper-focusing on something because of anxiety. It shows other people went through it too and made me not feel so alone when usually all I see is everyone with seeming their life together. It was so genuine seeing someone be like "yeah I wasnt productive because I wanted to get this done" because so many of us have BEEN THERE and feel so alone
That being said -- take care of yourself and do what is best for you!!! That is by far the most important

I’ve said this before but it’s so comforting when you are open and talk about things that you are going through. Don’t let it get to you too much becuase ur channel should also be a safe place for yourself to freely talk about what you want to, and do what you want to

Very glad it was nothing serious! Bennett knew you were stressed and was taking care of you. Cats and Dogs know when we are not feeling well, and they become super protective and affectionate.

As someone who also has a history of health anxiety, you definitely did the right thing by getting it checked out and following through, especially since the doctor was also worried. Better safe than sorry!! The anxiety can really put you through it so I could feel the relief. Also...people are always gonna find something to hate on when they're miserable, you being so honest and open is one of the things that makes your videos and channel so great, and exactly as you said, makes us all with health anxiety/anxiety not feel so alone 😌🙏
I am so happy that all the health stuff came back normal! I could tell that it was taking a toll on you. I hate that people feel the need to comment mean stuff on creators' videos! Especially when it comes to health! You were just trying to do the right thing by getting everything checked out and it should just be a reminder to all your followers that we need to think of our own health also!!!

Your vlogs are about your day to day life so it’s understandable that you would talk about ongoing health issues or other difficulties you maybe having. The funny thing is that if you didn’t people would criticise you for making your life look perfect and not being genuine. Honestly you can’t please everyone and there are some people who will always have something to say regardless of how hard you try. I don’t have health anxiety but have seen a lot of comments from people who do and clearly relate to what you’ve been going through. It’s your channel Alexis so do what feels right for you. Personally I love your videos, life isn’t always easy and your vlogs are relatable.

I am 40 and have terrible medical anxiety, I’m usually too scared to go because I’m terrified of bad news. Watching you face that fear and sharing with us has inspired me to get over my own anxiety and made me feel so much better. You are not alone, and though I understand if you stop sharing your vulnerable side please know that most of are thankful and appreciate it. ❤
Have you had blood test for Pet allergies? They can cause allergic dermatitis. You can develop allergies to pets over time.
It’s ok to share, try not to pay attention to those mean people❤️ your just being honest and being yourself! I am so glad your test were great!
hey, don’t feel bad, don’t feel guilty about looking into your health. health anxiety is wild but hopefully now you can move forward knowing more about your body. I used to panic into symptoms of a heart attack and end up calling EMS to run EKGs (not cheap lol) but now I know, after all the neg tests and a diagnosis of an annoying but manageable autoimmune disorder, I can trust myself and my body. now that you’ve had those tests, remember what the “symptoms” felt like and next time something like that happens you can remember, its ok.

I am so glad you got a good doctors appointment. I also have health anxiety, so I can certainly sympathize with you.
It's 45 degrees here in Manhattan, Kansas! I'm spending the day in bed with my cat and a sweat shirt on. I had 2 cups of coffee already, and I am making pork ribs that take about 4 hours in low heat in the oven.
We are waiting for my daughter to go into labor, which can be any time now!!
Those cheese shakers can be used for cleaning later. I wash them well and put baking soda in them. Sprinkle on sinks and in toilets, etc.
I love tomatoes in my grilled cheese.

Thanks for sharing. I am so happy for you. There’s no better feeling than knowing something you expected to be bad health news is nothing. Your mind plays out all the worst scenarios over and over and it puts your life on hold. So glad it’s all behind you now and thanks for vlogging about it. It’s so important to not ignore health issues and have them checked out.

I haven’t watched your other video yet where you opened up about your medical issue and anxiety, but I just wanted to say that I think it’s so nice that you share things like that and I think it can really help other people who are struggling with medical issues or medical anxiety as well.
I also can completely relate to not wanting to share anymore after receiving negative feedback, and it’s unfortunate that people can be so negative and judgmental.
I don’t have many followers on Tiktok but I decided to post one day opening up about my abusive father and how I’m trying to help my mom escape him. I talked about our struggles with finding an apartment to rent together. The Tiktok got way more views that I expected and while I got a lot of support and advice there were also people being judgmental or saying my rental budget was too low and completely unrealistic and trying to discourage me.
It was really off putting for me to have people commenting in a negative way about a personal issue that I’m already so sensitive about.
So I can imagine how it feels to have people commenting negatively about your medical scare, when it’s already such a stressful thing! And I’m glad you’re okay! 💕

Alexis, I am so glad that you are doing well. I am a mom and an empty nester and there is something comforting about watching another young person thrive while living alone in NYC. If your health is good, it is not because you are "lucky". You are blessed and if you change up your vocabulary, try using "bless "or "blessed". I don't think anyone can teach you how to be lucky but you can learn how to be bless and acknowledge a higher power is watching over us. Prayers and meditation invite blessings into our lives, not luck. Try that the next time you are anxious about anything, day or night.
Don’t feel bad telling us how you feel! It’s totally justifiable. I just went through a similar situation with a lump in my breast I found this summer. The waiting and worrying really is awful. ❤

I feel so comforted by your videos, you’re raw and real and that’s good for people to see! I’m also curious if the rheumatoid arthritis flag they told you was Rheumatoid Factor? You mentioned that cleared you for autoimmune so forgive me for being nosy, but a positive RF and a facial rash are key symptoms of Lupus in case you want to look into that.
meal idea: EASY CHILI
1/2 yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, pressed (or use powdered garlic)
chili powder (I also use a little chipotle powder and tajin)
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 can black beans
1 can red kidney beans
1/3 bag frozen corn
Sauté' onions in oil till translucent.. Add garlic, chili powder (etc.). Deglaze pan with tomatoes. Add beans and corn. Simmer on low for 20 minutes or a few hours.
I'm so glad everything was good with the biopsy. Your skin is looking much better. Bennett is adorable, and so cuddly. I saw on the news the subway flooding, it looked scary

Great to see Bennet being more affectionate. Cats will sometimes give head-butts to show they like you, and you can do the same to them (gently). Extra points for forehead to forehead, because that way you are identifying yourself as family.

I’m so glad you are ok and still going to share your life. I’m sorry some one was not nice. Hopefully they won’t ruin it for the rest of us. I was watching all the weather and videos coming from there that day. So scary. Also my daughter’s lymph nodes get so hard in her neck when she gets sick. I’ve never seen that before but it goes back down once she is better. Take care!

We often minimize the reality that stress causes physical effects in our bodies and can present in ways that other more serious ailments do. I’m slowly learning to listen to my body and how stress effects it and adjust things where I can to help 💛

Funny your cat moved the camera. I just went to Panera Bread with our daughter Leah for broccoli cheddar soup and a Turkey sandwich. It was delicious. Don’t worry about the negative comments. Anyone can have health anxiety, and it is exacerbated by the complete run-around we get in the US healthcare system. I had a situation similar to yours a couple of years ago, and I told the doctor, this is the exact reason why people stop seeing doctors and just let things go. She felt terrible, but there was nothing she could do to make the process go more smoothly.
The caramel from Dunkin' Donuts has a funny taste. I was thinking that the other day when i drank my coffee.

❤ just spent like 48 hrs in the city. I flew back home today and I must say the experience at starbucks this morning was a boot out the door... but i def still had a good time. Managed to visit my Uncle and have dinner at The Copper Still Wednesday night, last night we had Pasta Easter. Soo delicious. ❤

Just a thought but you may be semi-allergic to your cat. I had a short haired cat and a long haired cat, both lived to be in their twenties, and although I am not allergic to cats per test results, I would sometimes get a rash when I would cuddle the short haired cat and hold her against my face. I think it had something to do with her natural body oil.
She got tested and came back normal.

Please don’t ever think going to the doc and doing check ups and getting a biopsy would ever be a waste of anyone’s time. Your health is so important, and if you ever feel off or not right about anything in or on your body, please don’t hesitate to go to a doc. It’s their job. They give out so many bad news reports on the regular to people, I bet giving you a great bill of health was a joy! Second guessing yourself can lead to making poor choices, so always trust that gut and put your health first. And yay, congrats on your benign results! ❤
