Gigi (our cat) loses a lot of hair these days because of the seasons changing.
We wanted to get her a hair cut, so I found a cat hairdresser that comes to your house.
And of course, it all went differently then we expected…

I am Kamilla, a Belgian-Polish film addict currently living in the city of my dreams, London.

She was in gorgeous condition, I'm glad the groomer stepped up and coached you to keep the coat.
I never appreciated cats until I came across a ragdoll just like this cutie. Nice beat choices through out vid, definitely need more vids of this kitty.
My mind is blown at the groomer's advice of brushing the cat once a week. I have a Himalayan cat and I got a stomach flu a few weeks ago and felt a bit out of it so I let the grooming go a few days thinking it would be fine and found a bunch of new small mats when I got back into the routine
Himalayans have a much higher maintenance coat than ragdolls. A ragdoll’s coat isn’t very prone to matting, so you can get away with weekly grooming. That being said, daily grooming certainly won’t hurt!
When my Birma was a full time indoor cat I just groomed him, because I wanted to and because he loved it so much. Now it is an every day task and after rainy weather and a couple of minutes into grooming, he'll be all teeth and claws. His fur can matte realy quick and sometimes I'll have to shave his fur off, letting him look like a lion wanna-be with a bad haircut. Last year it was okay, this year I had to shave him again 😐.
Trust me, I was shocked too! 😂 But Gigi won’t let you continue your day without first having her brush session😂 she demands it and absolutely adore’s it😅😄😄
@You Know cat grass. They eat some and it's easier for them to get the furballs out. There is also a paste who is supposed to help with it. My late cat loved it, my other one not so much, he goes for the cat grass.

She doesn't mind the groom 🤭😍 I love how cooperative she is .

what an absolutely beautiful cat. I just took my cat to a groomer, mainly because I was worried she might have bad associations if it happened in her own home. The groomer was absolutely wonderful, and Fluffy ended up looking, feeling and smelling absolutely wonderful. Poor Fluffy had a lot of matting due to being unable to reach to her lower back, but its all been combed out now and she looks wonderful. your cat is amazing. I love ragdolls. #ilovecats

I have a 1 year old ragdoll and there's tufts of hair EVERYWHERE. Also because the other cat pulled puffs out when they play fight. Looking for a groomer in my area to do this. Hope she likes it.

@@KamillaSteczkowska maybe because mine is a mix Ragdoll Siamese she gets the "puppy" part from the Ragdoll and the fierce independent part from the Siamese

I keep hear videos and people say longhair cat need to brush everyday. Then one brand say 3,4 days-one week now your groomer say one week too now I’m very lost
it always depends on what cat breed it is.. how thick is her inner coat and so on.. like a ragdoll has an inner coat, a birman cat not. both long hair cats. holy birman cats don‘t need to be groomed that often, because they won‘t mat that easy as a ragdoll does.
If I don't want my Ragdoll to have a long mane how often should I cut it?
don‘t get a ragdoll….. easy solution. they have longer hair.. it‘s a long hair cat breed… jeez

@@lysanderPHD 100% ragdoll…. birman has the same points in the face and tail but they have white paws and face shape is a lil different. birman cats have a little hump at the nose and are smaller than a ragdoll.
