I have a Samsung Galaxy S21+ and up to now I haven't been able to make Android Auto work on my Pioneer AVH Z5250BT unit. I don't know why. The only way it seems to connect with the unit is for audio and for the phone contacts...That's all....
Yes, my wireless Android auto didn't seem to work, and I also discovered I wasn't using the right port when I had tried USB...😅Your video helped me notice that, as well as the wireless bit.

This can android auto only work when you are connected with the cable. I think if you have higher models then you can do it wireless, but it's not on LE model

Thanks for the video! New infotainment system with 9" display in Toyota got an update. Did the update happen to your corolla 8" display infotainment as well?
You need to have a car that supports this. Only Premium cars have ability to have android auto to work without the cable. I dont know which one that is.
I just bought a cable for it. But I'm having a problem. I follow step by step and is allowed the app on my car but it continues to disconnecting. Haven't used the app because it doesn't last connected.
Does your's force Bluetooth anyway? I have a '22 and the Bluetooth keeps automatically turning on. I can't seem to turn it off. Apple Car Play is way better. It's stupid, because as soon as you unplug the wire, Google Maps won't work. Bluetooth is pointless.
@MaciejPiotrowski then when will it be ready ?? I looked it up on reddit and apparently the 20202 corrola doesn't have android auto only Apple car play. Or w.e it's call .

@MaciejPiotrowski is not it. Everyone is skipping the first step. Click on projection in the car menu. This will prompt a message " Do you want to turn on the android auto?" After that, it was easy. Just follow the instructions on the screens.
Thanks. Just leased at 2023 Corolla. Was having trouble. After this video, im sure things will now setup correctly.

I have no idea. try connecting you phone with the car by a cable and see if you can see google maps on you car screen.

Cable
Which of the 2 ports did you use? Usb-c in the middle console or usb-a?

Yes I have without luck. I just got the car this week so I will work on connecting it wireless. Once I figure out solution I will make a video.
@@MaciejPiotrowski cool i will also try to find some time maybe I can make it work same way like through cable. This would be perfect though
I asked my dealership regarding this and they told me that only cable function works.
