Weird Al is a genuine talent. "Bad" is my favorite MJ song and vid and I was impressed by Al's attention to detail in his "dance" moves. I also like the fact that Michael had a sense of humor about himself in allowing Weird Al to parody his music (as opposed to Prince, who refused to allow his music to be parodied).
I am glad to see this reaction/review/commentary. It's a shame that this series wasn't continued. It's amazing how well these productions have held up, even after all this time. I like some of his current stuff, too. Actually, I haven't seen any I don't like. I think one of my most favorites is "Living with a Hernia, though. All of his productions are good, but I think that one took it up a notch. Also the original was a pretty amazing & over the top production as well. Just checking in. Maybe, this will be resumed some day. I am sure all the videos have some interesting stories & backgrounds. I did enjoy the information & trivia.
@@MoonSpeaksTV hello instead of michael jackson parodys do some of weird al's other parodys like trapped in the drive thru i love rocky road and white and nerdy and amish paradise
If you want to see a more recent Michael Jackson parody (A respectful one that is) look up the episodes "Serpent hunt" and "The Pig and the Rhino" of the 2012 series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They are a two part episode which take place after an alien invasion has taken over New York city. Two criminals: Hi tech thief Anton Zeck and corrupt Russian arms dealer Ivan Sterenko make a deal with Shredder to get out of the city but that deal goes catastrophically bad... Anton Zeck is a character who not only looked like MJ but also has his vocal manners, dance moves and even does "The Lean" a couple of times.
@@MoonSpeaksTV No problem, I'm pretty sure a lot of kids watching that show were told by their moms and dads "He's acting like Michael Jackson, let me show you." Thus ensuring that MJ got more people introduced to him.
Michael Jackson Parodies you say... There was a My Little Pony parody called Beat It PMV created by the fandom so there is that. You can guess what it is parodying...
Interesting perspective , I respect it . I never thought it was offensive only because of the type of comedian Weird Al is and how he does parodies of a lot of different versions of songs to make them funny . But yes MJ had a wonderful sense of humor and signed off on the parody ❤️
Great reaction...I love how you did your research about Weird Al doing the song. Instead of just saying, "I know of Weird Al" you found out about how he came up with the idea (watching the video Bad) and how MJ approved and what he did for Weird Al. Did you already see the Eat It video and hence why no reaction it it?
Yes I love doing research before my reactions because I’m all for educating about Michael or reactions related to Michael . Instead of just jumping right into the reactions. I did the reaction to Eat It a few videos back ❤️ I love both .
I sure have ! This is one of my favorite music videos. I didn’t state this was a first time reaction . It was an education as well as reaction video to those who have not seen it before .

Al doesn't get enough credit for pulling off those dance moves in that fat suit. lol
Right ! When I was filming this I went and watched him perform it live . He’s amazing .

My favorite part is when he's doing all the woo's the background singers say, "When I sit around the house I really sit around the house."
😂
Weird Al is a genius.
I saw Weird Al in 2017 and the Fat suit is still one of about a dozen wardrobe changes he does.
Omg ! I would’ve loved to see that for sure ! I’m going to see if I can find him performing live on UA-cam
@@MoonSpeaksTV the video starts out with the video then goes to the stage show

Very underrated singer, Weird Al is great for parody songs, one of a kind.

This is so silly, but it's well done too. First parody I've seen.

When I first started being a MJ fan I thought this was offensive but when you said that Michael had a part in it then I changed my mind

He was even allowed to do it from Michael. He would find it very funny himself.
