It's so gray and dismal, though not terribly cold. I find the hardest part is how it is getting dark around 4:30 pm. Though in a week all the Christmas lights will be on and it will be cozy and pretty. Everyone should have good boots because it is really slippery. Great video as usual.
It's Best to check where your parking is actually free. I used to park and ride, and if I could get in after 10:00 a.m., I could park for free in lots that are considered reserved. Be careful; parking tickets can be expensive. Parking tickets do not apply to your car insurance; only speeding tickets do. You can get housing without sidewalks; the city requires that you clean the sidewalk within several hours of snow, or you could face a fine. People hurry to get home because it gets cold and icy once the sun goes down. I have had instances where I went home after dark, my vehicle did not start, or the highway was icy.
Apparently in Calgary >>>Remove snow and ice - down to the bare surface - from public sidewalks bordering their private property within 24 hours of a snowfall ending. The fine for a first offense is $250, and the fine increases for repeat offenders. Some town/ciites allow 24-48 hours for removal of ice and snow from public sidewalks bordering their properties.
Canada life so, British life so, Europe life so... similar to life in Mt.Everest Himalaya Base Camp. Different is There is more than enough sun in Himalaya,There is lack of sun in Canada, in Britain Europe.
