thank you so much for sharing such wonderful spots, great comments and info on set ups. Much appreciated from a person who just moved to Washington State. Once again much thanks!!! tight lines!!!
The video of Dan's fishing tour with his clients was magnificent. He, of course, must be one of the most skilled guides anyone could with for on the Green River.
Fantastic video guys. Really helped an out of town er understand the river better. Thank you
Thank you for the video me and my wife are just starting out and looking for new places to fish thank you once again
thanks, even without catching fish we had a great day and I hope that came through in the video.
My favorite areas when I was stationed at Ft. Lewis was the upper Green from Kanasket-Palmer Park down to around the big bend. Man, I have caught a lot of steelies up there.
What time of year are steelhead usually up that far? I've ok only caught one up there.
Thanks for showing more locations on the Green....
Green river gorge is very beautiful . But that area has few access spots because of private property. I love the "hanging gardens" in particular, nice steelhead hole, you need to hike though forest to get to it.
is there steelhead in it in the winter?
@@williamtoch7435 yes, i've seen winter fish in Kanaskat-Palmer State Park
thank you so much for putting this up
Great video guys! I like the music as well. I'm for sure putting those areas on the list to go and check out. Ive only been to the Puyallup and the Carbon so these areas look really cool to go exploring. Thanks for posting.
good ideas for green river
We parked on the road, there are turn outs. The hike was about a 1/2 mile, very pretty and well worth it!
That depends on species and runs. You'll want to check out the WDFW regulations pamphlet for specifics.
Cool video. The upper green is a beautiful place to fish. Too bad the steel head numbers aren't higher though! Oh well, you're sure to catch some solitude at the least.
I've lived in the Puget Sound area for 17 years, and I had no idea the Green River had salmon.
Enumclaw-Franklin Rd SE
thanks for the info, might check it out soon. What road exactly?
do you guy have a similar video for the puyallop or nisqually?
I hunt by hwy 18 for a long time and every time I hunt I see the river and I want to fly fish there for trout, any tips?
Quick question, how to you get to the Hanging gardens?
Thanks, great video
Go past Black Diamond on Hwy 169 south, Left on SE 383rd St/Enumclaw-Franklin RD SE approx. 3 miles, on your left
WashingtonLakes thank you. i will check out this place out
Thanks for all the information in the video it's very helpful.
Do we need license to fish at any of these spots? Is it good time to fish in February?
Yes, you need a license to fish anywhere in WA
where do you park at hanging gardens and how far is the hike?
I have lived on or around the Green River for most of my life and what I want to know is, is it good for trout fishing?
Yea steelhead trout
@@MrSwatsteven Anywhere steelies or salmon run so do searun cutthroat trout. commomly known as egg stealers because of their habit of zooming in on spawning fish and swiping roe. Use a silver or gold spinner, that'll also take steelies/salmon...get out there...
This year sucks for stealies on the green though
I caught the biggest rainbow trout I've ever seen the first time I went. Think it was on a panther Martin classic spinner.
How'd you get to Meltzer Park?? i googled the location and it appears to be in Portland..
"Metzler"
I cant seem to find where metzler park is on google maps or bing
what fish did those two people catch in met
Was that a steelhead that was caught below you at soos creek?
yes
Is salmon fishing good this time of the year? or any other fish?
salmon season is around July to early december
i live right by there i walk there and fish
If your going to the green for steelhead you will be disapointed, very little in the river anymore
when are you allowed to fish the green river
no, maybe this year.
thet the plase i go to
How could you end the video like that? Fist fish you guys catch and you cut it off. Oh well....
it was a steelhead

consider it artistic license, LOL (plus, the fish was not caught). :-(
