The System 4000 is a self-contained cleaning system featuring a user controlled pump and a removable catch basin. The first cleaning system that pumps fresh cleaning solution into the pad every time while containing the contaminated water separately. Easy and effective to use for most types of pads and polishers with easy access to clean pads on the go.
Features:
- Environmentally friendly, water-saving unit is perfect for applications where cleaner pads with less contamination are essential.
- Works with random orbital, DA and rotary polishers.
- Works with all sizes and types of pads - wool and foam from 3” to 7”.
- The fluted wash plate cleans effectively without damaging pads. This increases the longevity of pads.
- Made with 100% polypropylene & glass-filled nylon.
- German engineered positive displacement pump.
Operation instructions:
1. Fill the pail to the desired level with clean water.
2. Add one packet of Snappy-Clean Boost powder and mix.
3. Insert the soiled pad attached to the polisher.
4. Run the polisher on a very low speed setting while pressing repeatedly on the wash plate. The pressing action will activate the pump and draw the cleaning solution from the bottom of the pail into the pad.
5. Use the polisher to agitate and clean the pad and to control the amount of solution brought into the pad.
6. The dirty solution and contaminants will drain into the catch basin where it can be discarded when the basin is full.
7. Slightly lift the polisher off the wash plate, increase the polisher speed slightly and spin-dry the pad inside the unit to complete the cleaning cycle.

Pan have you heard of car gods products
Nope
Links for people in the us do not work... Takes me to their site to find a retailer. And when i look on their site the 2000 and 3000 washers are all that is on the site.
Pan, you are the Bob Ross of the detail world. I can sit back, relax and enjoy any video you make because 1) your instructions are so thorough and complete I don't have to rewind because I didn't catch something, and 2) you haven't reviewed a product yet that I felt was strictly for professional use only- the DIY crowd can also pick and choose what they want for their own detailing arsenal.
Thanks a lot for these kind words Sean! I always promised myself to share my passion and knowledge with my viewers, and everyone is welcome on my channel, from the DIY weekend warrior to the detailing professional. I want to make detailing accessible to everyone, so you guys can also share this soothing passion!
Cheers.
Dude you hit the nail in the head!! I’ll have this image in my head forever. Love it!
Pan's laughter at 6:29 is just pure happiness.
😁
Whoever designed this work of art is loaded with common sense an a genius, a very rare combination of both. Like water/oil mix???
Sweet device,
Matt
I'm a new detailer going on my second season of detailing thanks to pan for his car detailing wisdom I've started off really good thanks for the video pan keep em coming
Great to hear! Glad I can serve as an inspiration to enthusiasts and pro detailers too! I hope your business is doing well. Where in the world are you detailing from? Cheers from Canada!
I'm late to the game on this one. Recently got mine and came straight here to watch a demo with proper tips and techniques. Fantastic device that works very, very well.
Thanks for watching!

Awesome to see it works good! I’ll be picking one up! Those guys are actually pretty close to me! Wish I could buy direct from them!
Que dire. Une invention qui vas bien nous faciliter la vie et surtout la durée de vie de nos pads. Merci pour cette nouveautée.
See you 🔜 Cousin 😎
That is an incredible design. I think the Lake Country folks have done a credible job of designing a product that works very well for the detailer. It works with us, not against us. Very nice indeed. I can see more money leaving my wallet already! Thank you, Pan!
Thanks for watching Brian!
I've been using CCS pads since 2006. Great pads!
I agree! I have been using them for well over 15 years myself.
Nice machine! Excellent to have in your detailing regime.
It sure is!
So awesome that you review this item!! Thank you
Thanks Eric!
Wow...! That looks like a great piece of kit, great demo by the way..... I'll be getting myself one of those for sure! 👍🏻 😎
Thanks Greg!
Congrats on 600,000
Awesome videos
Thank you
Thanks!
Great review as always Pan. Great job Lake Country! 💪🏼💪🏼
I appreciate that
Awesome video as always Pan! I enjoyed this one because I have been looking at picking up the NEW Lake Country System 400 Pad Washers and you answered every question I had!
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback bud! I like to be as thorough as I can when explaining things, but trying to make it in simple to understand terms so that even beginners can have fun in learning.
Great video Pan! It is also important to mention that when working around water and electrical, you should always use a GFCI power receptacle to avoid electric shock when using a Pad Washer and to keep the Polisher dry the best you can to avoid water intrusion inside your polisher. I've been using the Grit Guard Pad Washer, for the past 5 years, so this Lake Country version looks to be a better solution.
Great tip!
I want one!!! Just that simple. Great demo. :-)
Awesome video Pan!! Thank you so much
Glad you liked it!
Congrats on 600k bro! Looks like a nice pad washer and looks really well made.
Thanks brother!! It feels surreal to be at that level to be honest. The path to 1 million is now ahead of me! :). I will continue to work hard to produce the best videos for you all!

Absolutely!
A lot cooler than my Hillbilly method... I do the cheap way by hand in the sink, it works for me... But I like your way better.
Excellent device. Lake Country made a great addition to their world class ccs pads. I’ve been using them since 2009.

Thanks Pan. I was trying to figure out if this pad washer is worth the money. There’s some Black Friday deals going on. Once again thanks for some great info.
Thanks!
great video Pan, I've been using the HDO pads, and really liking them. Just wondering, but how dry is the pad after you spin dry them after the cleaning cycle?
Barely moist. Ready to continue polishing.
Hey Pan!! I would love to see a video about products that Mobile Car Detailers could use in sunlight and still do a good job, thanks Paaaaannn hahaha
Would also like to see this topic covered.
That's a paaaaaaaaantastic new tool.... great review

After you clean and dry the pad, how many times would you re-use before changing to a new pad?
Good morning ☀️
Good morning!
Merci pour les conseils et informations.
I know this question is completely off topic for this video, but I would like your (or your experienced viewers’) suggestions on Paint Protection Film. I have scanned through your videos and can’t find a specific video addressing this topic but I’m sure it’s something you have some experience with. Quite frankly, the videos I have seen about PPF are almost exclusively by people who have an interest in selling PPF. Otherwise there are a few videos that say it’s complete crap but don’t actually explain why they think so.
Maybe a future (unsponsored) video on PPF might be an idea. 😉
Once again, thanks for all your hard work.
Hi, Pan. Hope you are doing well. I have an unusual question for you regarding polishing. I have a brand new Orbit sander from Ryobi. I was wondering if I could use pad washers on my orbit wood sander (Not a polisher). Thank you
Thanks Pan, this system will keep me from using the sinks in my house which my wife objects too!
Hehe perfect!
Pumps a few times, yup it works! Pumps a few more times, yup it's fun! =)
It looks like Lake Country phased out the Green and Blue CCS pads. The other 4 colors are still available. Their new Heavy Duty Orbital CCS system is just 3 colors (blue, orange and black).
Interesting review. It does appear that the system does what it is intended to do. I would have liked to see the clean solution to ensure that no dirty water had contaminated it. Would it be recommended that the pads be flushed with clean water to ensure that all cleaning solution has been dissipated?
Last at $150 US I find it just a little on the expensive side, but if you have a shop and are doing several cars a week (thus using a lot of pads) it might be worth the investment.
All in all I enjoyed seeing the review 👍✌️☮️
The water in the bottom stays clean. And you don't need to further rinse the pads after this. Once you do the spin dry step after cleaning, there is almost no moisture left. You're good to continue polishing.
You can see Yvan Lacroix, a legend in the detailing industry, also talk about this System 4000 here: ua-cam.com/video/bQYCj6EdlvY/v-deo.html
Thanks for the kind words about my video! :)
Thank you for your reply and the link to Ivan’s review. Much appreciated.
My pleasure! Yvan has a wealth of knowledge and is a great person! He's the one who applied a pro grade ceramic coating on my own new BMW in this video: ua-cam.com/video/C_hb8PMP3KA/v-deo.html
Awesome Video Pan, thanks. Can I use optimum no rinse?
Yes many detailers use that.
Pan, I know spray polishes like the ones Optimum and DIY Detail sell work fine on damp pads, for example a pad damp because it was just cleaned in the 4000 Pad Washer. What has been your experience with "squirt" cream polishes (such as CarPro's polishes or Meguiar's 110 or 220 polishes) on a pad damp from the 4000 Pad Washer. No problems or do those polishes just work better on completely dry pads?
Can it be used with 2 inch and 1 inch pads on a micro polisher?
Which polishing system have you been using sir
I remember them advertising a pad washer that is like 20 years old design, but looks very similar, guess this is the revised version
They have had a few versions over the years, including the 2000 and 3000.
Pan can you please do a walk around of your garage. Building my home and just would like to see yours to have a idea how you did the floor
I already did many garage tour videos. Here’s the latest one: ua-cam.com/video/wx6HTBAzeXI/v-deo.html
Hey Pan! I was wondering how youd compare these ccs pads to the rupes and carpro pads and which ones are your favorites to use. Keep up the great work! Love the videos!
These are some of my favourite pads, along with the Rupes foam pads. I have a video about my favourite compounds, polishes and pads combos here: ua-cam.com/video/2JDvQBs1viM/v-deo.html
If you search through my big collection of over 600 videos on my channel so far, you will pretty much always find the info you're looking for. ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks pan! You’re the man!
I understand how you are using the pad cleaner. But is using that device without mentioning any circuit protection very safe?
Thank you for the video. Considering the price, Do you recommend the System 4000 over an air compressor with tornado attachment?
The System 4000 is more versatile as you can clean all your pads with it. An air blowout tool is good for wool and microfiber, not so great at cleaning foam pads.
Pan in pervious videos you mentioned using a fresh clean pad for every panel or two. Thus 5 to 6 pads a car. With this 4000 pad washer can you get by with just one pad for a entire car? Washing it between each panel and if so would that be true not only for foam pads but a micro fiber also? Obviously the pad would be damp from cleaning.
It depends on your strategy, not every person works the same way. Some people just use the pad washer at the end of the detailing process, to clean all their pads at once. Some use the pad washer after each panel, to reduce the number of pads needed for the polishing, but others don't like working with a moist pad, etc.
Do some testing and see what works best for you. Personally, I use a pad brush between passes, and use a fresh pad every other section. 4 to 5 pads for a compound stage, 4 to 5 pads for polishing stage. And then at the end, I clean them all using the pad washer.
Hi pan . I have just started to watch your channel. I have just obtained a 91 Mercedes Benz 300 and my plans are to put it in car shows . My question is after all the cleaning and looking good. What do I do after I drive to a car show to get it ready and back clean when I get there ?
That's a tough one, as there isn't a solution that I could 100% recommend if you don't have access to water. If it's only lightly dusty, you could use a quick detail spray with a plush microfiber towel and gently wipe and lift, change sides on the towel, repeat. You would need a few towels for that.
But for me, I would clean my car thoroughly BEFORE the car meet, and when I get there, I don't touch it. I don't want to run the risk of scratching or swirling. My car is always the cleanest and glossiest anyways in any meet. Hahaha.
heyy pan, what should i invest in first a vaccuum so i can offer basic interiour services or a polisher for more effiecient waxes?
For beginners: ua-cam.com/video/IuiQpiwDOrM/v-deo.html
And here's a video of all my equipment and tools for more advanced users: ua-cam.com/video/AC5noPvHiEg/v-deo.html
I wonder how long the washer withstands the pad cleanings as the pad's pressing against the washer during cleaning. Also noted the USA links are mainly for the pads - had to go to Canada sites to see the washer itself.
I also have the previous version, System 3000, and it's been working flawlessly for years now. These are made for heavy duty everyday use.
Unfortunately, the stocks were very low for this item, I'm guessing to to availability of raw materials in this crazy covid world we live in, so they aren't available everywhere. Hence why the main link is to check for resellers on the main Lake Country website, so you can find the closest one to you, in the country you live in.
Hi pan so if I used the orange pad with a polish to get out swirls or scratches what pad would I use to polish?
Watch my compounds, polishes and pads video: ua-cam.com/video/2JDvQBs1viM/v-deo.html
I don’t know why but I’ve got so much anxiety to buy a machine polisher and do it lol great video as always Pan! Watching all the way from the Midlands the heart of the United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Thanks Simmy! Cheers from Montreal, Canada!!
If you get a dual action polisher, there is no worries to be had. It's not that complicated, and there are no risks for your paintwork. Have a look at my paint polishing tutorial for beginners here: ua-cam.com/video/X2qjO5xZZ2E/v-deo.html
Get a test panel (engine hood, door, something flat) from a body shop, or junk yard. Watch the videos ammo NYC and pan have and build up your confidence on the test panel.
Ah thanks guys really appreciate it! Looks like I’m going for it!
@@simmytheman9444 you know what polisher, pads, compound, etc you want already? I would recommend Rupes mk3 lhr15 with their (Rupes) 5/6" yellow and white pads, the Rupes pad brush accessory thing (unless you have a compressor with an attachment to blow out pads), Meguiar's Microfiber Cutting pads 5", ScanGrip R for lighting, jescar correcting compound and sonax perfect finish
@@jkxss ah wicked! I’m very stuck on it all at the moment I’m kind of new to detailing. I figured with how bad my anxiety is channeling my energy to detailing would help me and it seriously has. I’m only 27 but I’m learning hey? Lol I just get confused because you have so much stuff you can buy 🤣👍
Hi Pan. Is this pad cleaner safe to use on the specialized Rupes foam pads with it’s “Open Cell” structure?
Yes
I have a question concerning microfiber towel . To clean them do you just throw them in the washer with soap ?
I have a popular tutorial showing how to properly clean microfiber towels here: ua-cam.com/video/t_ryfGlkE9I/v-deo.html
Do I have to have a Rotary Polisher to work with the Pad Washer Bucket or a DA would work okay?
Any type of polisher will work.
Very nice. Now, what to do with my System 3000D?
If it still works, no need to replace it, you already have a very good setup. :)
Hey Pan! Would that mean if i can clean my pad with this, i could only use 1 pad for my entire car if i use a 1 step compound and polishing product?
You still would want to switch pads after a few panels.
When drying the pad are they completely dry after
They are slightly moist, but can be reused. You typically prime pads anyways.
Pan have you looked into any Shine Supply products? Would love a review of something from them. Thanks for the awesome video pan!
Thanks Zack! I haven't had the chance to test their products yet.
@@PanTheOrganizer I don’t think you will be disappointed at all! A lot of pro detailers in my area use their products! I live in Oregon and they are a California based company. It’s So awesome getting a reply from you lol I feel like I’m talking to a celebrity 😎😎😎
Heheh you'll make me blush! Thanks for sharing that, I'll add them to my long list of products to test. It's never ending in the Pan garage! Hahah. What's your favourite video on my channel so far by the way Zack?
@@PanTheOrganizer I don’t have a specific one because they are all so great! But I really liked the turtle wax seal n shine video. I swear by that stuff now and everyone in my family has at least one coat of it on their vehicles lol!
I was wondering it's more of a question than a comment. Can you clean the pad while you're working on the car? It does a damp pad make a difference when you're finishing appreciate it if I get an answer on that. Thank you. Appreciate your reviews coming from a fellow Canadian
Hi Robert. Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on UA-cam as we surpassed 850,000 subscribers and 106 million views! I have been detailing for 25 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
Yes you can clean as you go, it will be damp but that doesn’t affect the polishing.
Or you can blow your pads with compressed air or use a pad brush. And make sure you change pads often. Clean fresh pads have less polishing compound buildup and cut better.
What color ccs pad would you think be comparable to the rupez yellow pad?
Green or blue
Salut pan merci pour tes conseils je veut savoir si ech2o diluer est une bonne idée pour entretenir un hood wrapper mat imitation fibre de carbon
Oui absolument, ça agit comme un waterless wash (nettoyant sans eau).
have u done a video any waxing vynil wrap. Ur opinion. Best products etc.
No I haven't, because my understanding is that it's not recommended to wax vinyl wraps. A quick Google search will allow you to find documents where 3M themselves don't recommend it as it could damage the wrap...
So the jury is still out on that one... Unclear if you should or shouldn't. Maybe stick to products that are meant to be used on wraps or PPF.
Pan, do you find that the pads still feel saturated even after spinning to dry?
They are barely moist after spinning them dry, they're good to continue polishing. Watch Yvan Lacroix explain that part here: ua-cam.com/video/bQYCj6EdlvY/v-deo.html
Literally can’t find this anywhere 😭
Me neither, it says in Amazon but is not there
