Please do a video on run up for different actions, i.e front on, side on and midway. How to use our front arm to increase the effectiveness plus how big should be our delivery stride. How to move our arms in the run up so
that we can load up easily. Thank you sir

Another great Video Sid in the series. I have a question for you though. How important is the jump in the load phase for a fast blower. Does it help with increase in pace?

I had the opportunity to attend a camp conducted by a great pacer who represented india. He told the lads , only side on bowlers jump during the load up but that should not be manufactured. Run up is 90 percent of fast bowling. One has to be stable at the time of release and not at his fastest. A fast bowlers arm should move in sideways at the hip level and everything should happen close to the body, then the load up will be perfect. He cited umesh yadav and ajith agarkar as examples for smooth and effective action.
