- Okay... there's some changes here that are questionable. I thought we'd see Bumi in this episode but maybe he'll appear in the next one only?

They really DANGLED the “My Cabbages” line in front of us, made us earn it! 😩🤣
Like FR! I was like... when is it coming!?
Dang I never realized that in your outro just now that you stopped saying "the force will be with you, always."
Uh... I never said that for my outros for Avatar videos... LOL
@@AntoineBandele It just never registered for me XD. You did it in the old versus series, so I just assumed you did in all the videos 😂
Only the SW ones. 😂
I really like Conniving Zhao. At first I was a little worried about him not being as super masculine and whatnot as the cartoon, but his change is really interesting to watch after all.
I enjoyed Azula's intro too. Similar and foreshadowing to the Kyoshi Warrior infiltration. And I love Azula's plotline of being behind Zhao and being manipulated by Ozai against Zuko. Gives good context into how she treats her brother.
I REALLY WISH the tree fort was actually a high up tree fort though. I think they could've achieved it with like a CG background or something. Oh well. :)
I didnt mind the idea of merging these story lines, but the execution felt pretty clunky, i don't think it really worked that well
I really thought Omashu would just be one episode. Was not expecting it to be 2 episodes. Makes the overall world feel smaller, for sure.
pretty much impossible to do all that in one episode, even with 2 it felt rushed @@AntoineBandele
Man Ive been very happy with the series so far,and your reactions have been absolutely great! You are appreciated as always!
Jet was definitely one of the best parts of this episodes. Decent episode and the actors did a great job portraying the side characters
I appreciate the internal strife of the fire nation here. This is a century long war, something that's no doubt affected their own respective quality of life. Not only have families likely lost their children, siblings, parents, etc but how one's economy can be affected. Such as a decline in working population, a draft, inflation, shortages, etc. Meaning that everyone in the fire nation is likely effected by it in some way.
The Live Action finally being he has been a great thing, but also a sad thing. I was always so hyped seeing you (or other Avatar channels like Airspeed, Avatarist, Overanalyzing, Sword and Pen etc.) uploading about video about it and the hype was unreal. But the last week kind of felt empty. But, now I see the live action has brought back hype about avatar. + knowing the movies/animated series are coming up and probably also a season 2 live action. So i’ve realized the LA was only the beginning of the ATLA hype and the upcoming years are gonna be amazing for me and other fans.
It is so funny to watch you react to these episodes. Knowing what your final review was 😂. Like I was so hype for the first 2 episodes and slowly but surely I started to get disappointed by seeing changes that didn’t make sense. Then by episode 6, I had hope again (mainly for season 2) cuz by then it was to many bad things to say that episode 6 made the series GOOD. And by the time the last two episodes came. I was just done with it. Cuz the teamwork at the end didn’t make any sense, cuz we barely seen them form any kind of real bond. This whole series was a very mixed bag. I do however have hope for season 2!
Yeah, for me it started strong. Lost its way in the middle. Then SORTA found its footing at the end but not as well as I would have hoped it'd find its footing. I'm still very much looking forward to the next season. I think there were a lot of lessons learned here.
My favorite part of this episode was when the lady started hitting Zuko because he was fighting with a child 🤣
The intro for azula was fine but I think it's weird that the traitors didn't recognize her, they want to kill the firelord but they don't know the princess? Except if she has the Perry the platypus syndrome.
The citizens probably have never seen the princess or any of the higher ups. This is before social media lol
LOL! True! But that does show they are amateurs. And only the down and out amateurs are brave enough to try an assassination attempt (as opposed to actual warriors).
There are posters/ statues of the firelord everywhere in the city, so they'd recognize him. However, other royalty does not mingle with commoners, as noted in the OG episode the Beach. Them not recognizing her makes sense
THANKYOU Antoine!
I had the exact same thought, about it feeling like a Jacky Chan choreography!
Now you got me invested to watch it. Cause, I’m like “this is the one show I highly want to watch.”
5:11 😂 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆 the way I *SCREAMED* at this HAHAHAHA 😆
LIKE.... COVER HIM UP! He's the LAST airbender.
@AntoineBandele I meant this part lol 5:12
OH LOL! That's my editor playing games LOL
@@AntoineBandele they have a great sense of humor hahahaha!
Yeah
loving this series.
I watch it right after I've watches an episode. (I really try to not watch them all at once).
after three episodes I have yet to see a bad one
"Outazulaling Azula" XĐ
I don't even wanna see it because I'm not interested in a live action, but you're convincing me!
LOL! It's not perfect. But I do think there are quite a few enjoyable moments.
@@AntoineBandele I'll give it a watch. Lol.
@1:00 I feel like I was robbed. I pay way too much attention to the development of this series, There’s no way they were going to sneak Azula in like that. I wonder how this scene played for viewers who didn’t know right away that this was Azula. Was it a surprising reveal?
I love the series it kept to the cartoon in all the right ways. I give the show a nine
So instead of Azula working for Zhao, it's the other way around.
Personally wish Azula outed a someone like a Fire Nation commander instead of some civillians. Would have highlighted Fire Nation politics more and set azula up as a big force in their leadership.
They are starting her small and showing her progression and competition with Zuko.
This might seem kinda weird but I wish sokka was a little more sexist at the beginning so that he could have better character building
But hold on didn’t you see this live for like 8hrs 😂?? This isn’t a first time reaction. Like the reaction is cool but still, it’s not your first time reaction
Huh? Yes, this is my first reaction to this episode.
You can see it all happening in real time on this stream: ua-cam.com/users/liveZUIGaoDkO9k?si=5xZH7chsXijHKJiL
He only saw the first episode twice
Tbh, I didn't really enjoy the changes in the adaptation😭
Azula is supposed to be a firebending prodigy, always cold and calculating, and she's often bitty and sarcastic instead of being an edgy villain
In the adaptation, we barely see her firebend, she has anger issues and temper tantrums, and she's basically season 1 Zuko💀
I gave up on this hot mess,,, season one sucks as much as season one of the original
keep whining
@@AvatarSucker now that I have your permission I sure will
Azula introduction was spot on
