This guy and Colossus are the two I've been waiting to see you tackle with your NMM glory. All the bounce lighting and reflected glow you incorporate is amazing.
You never fail to impress, all the things I have learned from you over the years has pushed me to be a better painter and get out of my comfort zone (with great results). Thank you for all these wonderful videos :)
I absolutely love how you painted the reflective colors in the nmm gold armor. I thought about leaving out the bifrost parts to do something on the base only, but the idea of trying that out and learn a new technique has me intrigued. Your amazing painting is so inspirational. Thank you for making such detailed video's!!
Mate, this has to be one of the best yet. I'm personally not one for doing NMM, but you've definitely mastered the art. I was planning on following the box art like usual when I start on Heimdall, but watching this is making me think about getting another set to do both him and Skurge in their film colour palettes.
thanks you for sharing tour passion ! everything is stunning, the paint , music and the rythme. you are a Real guide for my motivation . thanks you for that
Lovely job on that Mark. Wasn't sure the ice and snow thing would work but it did. And the sword is really outstanding. Would love to try and have the Bifrost bits cast in clear resin and use inks too
Absolutely stunning! I’m still too intimidated by NMM to do a whole model like this. I’ll stick to doing it for small belt buckles and such until maybe someday feeling confident and moving on to slightly larger belt buckles.
It's been a minute, welcome back, sir! Heimdall looks amazing, as usual, and I got some valuable pointers on NMM from this video in particular since I'm still struggling with it.
I don't play Crisis Protocol, mainly because it's gotten too expensive to keep up with now, along with the other games I play, but I sure do LOVE to see your painting videos, as they are just jaw-droppingly awe inspiring, and I learn so many new little techniques for effects as I keep watching. Truly amazing finish on this model, and yet one more for the "must watch again and again" list of your videos :-) Please keep posting more as you collect and game other figures/vehicles, and I'd love to see more of your Star wars Legion when you get round to doing some more :-) I just opened up the Clan Wren and Sabine Wren boxes, and am dying to set about painting them as both the characters from the series, as well as different characters with different armour, just to make some of them individual from the series :-) I'll be watching your tutorials of these figures for inspiration and ideas, so many happy hours await ahead :-D Are you planning anymore terrain tutorials at all? I loved the one you did a while ago, and would love to see your take on some Star Wars themed jungle.desert terrain, to go with your Legion figures :-)
Not having you ice and snow product as the shipping fees out of UK is really expensive I thinned down some GW Valhallan Blizzard and it worked like a charm. Thanks for another awesome video master.
Amazing work as always! Question for anyone in general, did you happen to have Heimdall's sword not reach the base? Mine is like a good 1/8th of an inch away from the base. Any suggestions to help? A job for green stuff?
*Sigh* Now I gotta buy Heimdall. I don't even want the other guy in the pack. Next time please check with me to see what miniatures I was planning to paint before doing one of your excellent painting guides.
Thanks so much Gonzalo! Yes, I will be continuing with KDM. I actually started painting The Watcher a couple of months back, but wasn't happy with where it was going, so I stopped working on it for a while, but will return to it soon. I think my next KDM video will actually be for the Gold Smoke Knight.. 🙂
I should not look your MCP videos, you gonna make me want to buy the models ! Awesome paint job but I cannot wait for the new Shadow Collective Maul video !
Well, I finished the video a couple of weeks ago; I just have to wait for licensing approval before a can release it, which could be a little while longer.. 🙂
@@Sorastro I much prefer the MCU version. Idris Elba is fantastic as Heimdall and you did an incredible job on the darker skintone. Also, that Mystique in the opening shots? Super cool.
Welcome back my dude. Always a pleasure to watch your impeccable paintjobs.
Thanks so much! I've had a tough couple of months, but it feels good to be creating again 🤗
Welcome back, this looks like you truly enjoyed the process of painting him. Always great to remember the fun to be had in this hobby.
Thank you mate! I really did enjoy going to town on Heimdall 😁
This guy and Colossus are the two I've been waiting to see you tackle with your NMM glory. All the bounce lighting and reflected glow you incorporate is amazing.
Thank you so much! NMM is an area I've really enjoyed pushing myself with over the last year or two.. 🙂

I just can sign this!
Thank you so much for the kind comment Brandon! That really means a lot to me 😀
Amazing work! I would also love to see how you did Mystique. The transformation into Elektra looks stunning.
Thanks so much! There's actually a link in the video description to a PDF guide for Mystique 🙂

Thank you sir! I feel those reflections are really important for selling the NMM effect for sure 😀
You make me remember when I was a Kid and play the Heimdall videogame.
Excellent! 😁
Really enjoy the music in this one
Thanks a lot, sir! I'm glad you liked it 😀
Welcome back! Glad to see an upload. I hope all is well! Can’t wait for more Legion and Middle Earth content. Thank for continuing to create!
Thanks so much David! I really appreciate that 😀
Good to have you back 🙏🏼🌟 Heimdall is looking sharp and ready to defend Asgard till he has to blow the Ragnarok horn 🤩
Ha ha, thanks buddy 😁

Another great video
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it 😊
Oh man, been waiting a minute for another one of these! Love it man. 😀
Thanks buddy - really appreciate that! 🤘😀
Awesome detail, you have the best painting vids on UA-cam and I'm a huge MCP fan 😁I always learn something new to try when I watch your vids. Thanks 👍
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that 😊
Best 45 minutes I've spent today.👍😎
Aww thanks so much Ken! 😀
Man you are the best!!!!
Thank you! (I'm not really the best, but I'll accept the compliment 😁)

Hey Sorastro, are you planning on painting the figures for the Spreading War box expansion for journeys to middle earth ?
Hi Sean! Yessir, I am 😀
Absolutely stunning! I’m still too intimidated by NMM to do a whole model like this. I’ll stick to doing it for small belt buckles and such until maybe someday feeling confident and moving on to slightly larger belt buckles.
Thank you Dustin! NMM can be intimidating at first, but once you face your fears and get stuck in, it's very fun and rewarding.. 😀
As always : superbe ! bravo
Thank you sir! 😀
It's been a minute, welcome back, sir! Heimdall looks amazing, as usual, and I got some valuable pointers on NMM from this video in particular since I'm still struggling with it.

Oh great! I'm happy to hear that - thanks! 😀
Amazing vidéo as usual
Thanks so much mate! 😊
It is just beautiful! 😍
Thank you so much! 😊
WElcome back!!! Though have to admit I can't wait to see you do Dormammu!
Thanks so much! I am actually planning to cover Dormammu.. 😀
Glad to have your videos again!
What was that super thin brush you were using during the blacklining step?
Thank you very much! I believe that was a slightly battered Size 0 kolinsky brush by Ashdown Gaming 😀
@@Sorastro Ah awesome! I appreciate the info!
Excellent NMM!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much buddy! I'd had a little break from painting so was a little rusty tbh, but I'm glad you like it 😀
Welcome back :D
Thank you buddy! 😀
Hi Friend, what brush do you recommend me , for long a thin lines and for make points.? Thanks
Hi! I think the Rosemary and Co Series 8 is still my favourite brush (see link in video description) 😀
Amazing work as always! Question for anyone in general, did you happen to have Heimdall's sword not reach the base? Mine is like a good 1/8th of an inch away from the base. Any suggestions to help? A job for green stuff?
Thanks Nic! I remember mine was also slightly off the base, so I just applied some superglue, and kind of forced it down 🙂
Nice to see the new content. ;) BTW. Now I painting Octopus from CPE01. ;)
Excellent! Thank you 😀
*Sigh* Now I gotta buy Heimdall. I don't even want the other guy in the pack. Next time please check with me to see what miniatures I was planning to paint before doing one of your excellent painting guides.

@@Sorastro Please do someone holding the cosmic cube (a couple alternate minis online have it as well) so I can figure out how to paint that

@@Sorastro OMG! This is awesome because I just finished your guide to Doc Ock TODAY
Awesome DJ!
You nmm is always amazing, but the colored reflections on gold nmm blew my mind!!
Quick question: will you continue your kdm series?

No problem my friend! 😊
WoW!
😊
Pathetically got the 555 like.....just feel proud. Am amazing painting as usual. Just want this model for my display cabinate
Ha ha, thank you my friend 😁
@@Sorastro legend my man. Myself....any many more...are better painters cuz of you.
That's very kind - thank you buddy!
Used super glue to glue the Bifrost to the base after painting? I didn't think super glue did very well on acrylic paint.
Hi Camon! It helps if you seal the surface with a little varnish first; I've not had anything fall off yet.. 😁
I should not look your MCP videos, you gonna make me want to buy the models !
Awesome paint job but I cannot wait for the new Shadow Collective Maul video !
Ha, thanks a lot buddy! I'm looking forward to being able to share the Maul episode too 😀
@@Sorastro Such a tease, when is it coming , I'm waiting it to start painting mine ! :D
Well, I finished the video a couple of weeks ago; I just have to wait for licensing approval before a can release it, which could be a little while longer.. 🙂
you also print 3d print figures/miniatures?
Hi! No, I don't really have space for a 3D printer tbh 😊
You have a full online course?
Hi! Well, I have several series of videos covering different specific games.. 🙂
🙌 𝖕𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖔𝖘𝖒
Oh, you're doing the MCU version. Disappointing.
Great job, regardless. Don't wanna be TOO negative on a quality video.
Ha ha, thanks! The truth is that I would always dissapoint someone irregardless of which way I went, and I'm at peace with that 😁
