This is so awesome!!! I love this series idea! My favourite part was Nigel’s backwards head standing at the desk that you animated, dude can really turn his head around like an owl 😂
@@SouthernSleuth I had a similar thing that was canon to my subconscious after playing Secret of the Scarlet Hand for the first time: I fully remembered the game hinting that Henrik was a vampire so was shocked when I replayed it and discovered that wasn't a thing at all 🤣🤣
This is so well done and so interesting to me!!! I think about this a lot, and I genuinely think there's some "wrong' culprits that make less sense! Honestly I'm convinced Nigel would've made more sense now, and had more motivation compared to Jane, who really didn't know what was going on. Loved this!!
I was SO blown away when I replayed it. I could not wrap my head around how I’d remembered it wrong for all these years!! I need to make my other videos like this because I agree that sometimes, in my head, other suspects make more sense!
That's so interesting that your memory of CUR's ending involves something similar to DDI's ending (*DDI minor spoiler incoming!* a person sitting at a desk with their back to Nancy)! Also Lilo as the Beast of Blackmoor was too good. 😂
Oooo so true. Wonder if that influenced it at all! But I didn’t remember the culprit of DDI either when I replayed CUR so who knows! Lilo is always glad to fulfill her role 😂😂
OMG I thought it was Nigel and Ethel in cahoots when I first played!! Love this! Nigel is def the out of place random man (a la Louis Chandler) of the manor. You can't tell me this grown Harry Potter is NOT after the Philosopher's stone 🤣😂
Oh my GOODNESS I didn’t even think about the fact that he looks like Harry Potter! I wonder if that is part of how my subconscious thought that all these years! Imagine if Ethel HAD been in on it. She was unnecessarily creepy.
This is amazing and far surpasses the original culprit. Things are more than they appear which I believe is a shadowed truth behind the gates of Blackmoor. Also, Lulu was my favorite part of the game. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
I felt like I was in an alternate timeline when I played it again! I remembered almost everything else perfectly but NOT THAT 🙈 Unfortunately I didn’t misremember any other culprit so the rest will just have to be made up as I go, but this felt like an appropriate one to start with!
Ahh I hope you enjoyed it! And that you’re figuring out all your vod stuff! It’s definitely a learning curve. That’s why my videos have dancing Nigel 😂
wait a minute nigel was not the real cuprit because from what i rememered was that the bad book called the bluebeard room was ethel but in the game it was jane
@@SouthernSleuth oh well then i guess i do like it now but in my opinion i would technically say it was ethel bosney because she would`ve been with jane in causing harm to lynda because you do have to remember ethel was her tudor and also would`ve had her opportunity to indocernate jane as a member of elinor penvellyn`s secret society
Does anyone want Nancy here?? Every Nancy Drew game 😂 CUR is the best game and if I HAD to change something I’d either make it where we can explore outside or the culprit.
Even the people who invite Nancy to come eventually want her to leave 😂😂 Imagine what it would look like if we integrated going outside? 100% a second chance would be dragging mud into the house.
Hi I love your videos and I don’t wanna be negitive but something you said doesn’t happen in the game- there’s muddy footprints outside Linda’s room. There is never a time where Mrs Drake is cleaning them and says something to Nancy about going outside.
@@SouthernSleuth ohohoh I thought you were goin g over what happens that’s my bad! It gave me anxiety to the point where I legit went back and played the game and got so stressed LMAO
@@jaezombie hahahahhaha I am so sorry I brought you stress!! Nooo it’s me recreating the game as if it had a different culprit so what extra clues would need to be placed to help it make sense.

Nancy's letter at the end is so on point! Her Interactive should hire you as a writer
Awww thank you! That’s such a great compliment. After playing these games for so many years, it was easy to find her voice!

I was hoping someone would enjoy how incredibly unhinged that was!!! My animation skills are on POINT.
scarier than the Blackmoor Beast 🤣
@@divine.gabiii just bringing a little horror to the genre hahahahha
This is such a good concept for a series!! I love how much thought you put into this, I can 100% see it!!
I got to cheat on this one since my subconscious made it up. The next one I’m going to have to do all on my own 😂

Bahahahha Henrik was definitely in Twilight. He actually becomes Carlisle.

@snughly I’m seeing your next lore video

5:23 I thought the exact same thing!! I also thought this was not the end of the game and the “real” culprit would be revealed later but nope 🙃😂
Well now you get a “real” culprit 😂
When I tell you I was the epitome of shocked Pikachu face
thanks for reminding me that they absolutely have to do a remake of CUR. so much potential for an ever twistier story!
They can call it Nancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor manor After Dark OR the Beginnings and Nancy can be transported back to when Brigette was around!
I'm so hyped this exists on the internet now 😄
Now I’ll never forget again 😂

Did it live up to your expectations since you knew the background story beforehand?
@@SouthernSleuth yes it absolutely did! Because you made up the WHOLE game! I only knew the culprit

I ALSO thought it was Nigel when I replayed this game as an adult.
Ahh like minded! What did you think was his reasoning?
