I am from Charleston and live in Missouri now. That is my home state, and I still have family there. I will be calling them soon. Thank you for posting this.
Good Morning Mary. I've been following the people in N.C. as they keep stating most done by locals. They are asking for donations to get families out of tents. Donations of trailers coming in. Their building small building no running water just a place to get them out of the freezing weather. Keep Praying for those people. What they witnessed was horrific. They have went from recovering whole bodies to parts. They certainly need all the love and Prayers we can give them. In my time or my grandmothers have we ever witnessed a cat 2 moving that far inland. Thank you Mary and Blessings to you and yours.
Did you also hear the Amish built 100 Tiny Homes for NC & the Governor won't allow them ? FEMA allegedly has condemned them... The people are also in need of clothing. It is so cold there !!
@@debmoon4331 I thought I heard something about that but wasn't sure so didn't write it. There is a reason they are making this so hard on them. Hope and Pray we can get to the bottom of this and Fast and Slap a lawsuit. Not let it drag out get it Now. It's all becoming to frequent. From Lahaina, Paridise C. A., Palistein, and many more in C. A. and other places I'm forgetting. Just makes you wander who's next. Now the talk is on the New Madrid fault. What a messed up time . Peace and Blessing to you and yours
Thanks Mary for your update! My in-laws use to live in Summersville, so we visited the area. Pretty place I did happen to catch a news brief that some people are still stranded up along Lake Erie from Thanksgiving. Tractor trailers jack-knifed and Jammed up the highway. More snow incoming tonight. I did hear the National Guard was to be sent in to help rescue people. But I haven't heard any updates today yet.
Thank you, Mary! My family is there in Summerville. I remember our middle school was on the fault line, and we had a couple quakes in the early 90’s. Then, the drill began, under our desks or in the halls with books over our heads lol.
Hi, Mary there is an Appalachian Travel Channel on You tube that is now a news outlet of the going in the Southern Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee.
@MaryGreeley54 yes I did! It was beautiful. Am going to send you one back. We had to repair vehicle in order to get into town. Running late on things this month. But this weekend it's warming up here so I'll be out shopping then!! ❤️
I moved to central Missouri in Aug. Tomorrow it is only going to be 24* to 27* thats cold. Today it's nice and kinda warm. Since Thanksgiving we've had snow and cold days.
Hello MARY I have a son his wife and his two daughters live in Somerville I haven’t talk to him yet I don’t know if they felt it or not thanks for everything you do MARY you’re the best I’ve been following you for years thanks again❤❤❤
Our state bird is the Carolina wren. So sweet. Our state flower is the yelloe jasmine. So fragrant. If we had to choose a secret nefarious state Island, it'd no doubt be called Monkey Island.😢😭
weather is nice in mt pleasant, towards coast on north side of Charleston...just starting video, and within last 24 hrs I had 2 things I thought were trucks on hwy 17 that runs by my apartment complex with a light nearby, getting that rumble...USGS' Latest up in back, w/o all selected, so about to check. But you got to it first ha! Perfect timing :)
We have 46f in Alaska here . This is not normal for this time of year for us . Never seen it this warm here this time of year. Calling for warm weather through next week. Even the weather people can't tell the truth , my thermometer says 46f and they say its 36f very close to where I am ?😅
I live 70 miles north of Charleston Sc on the coast, wind is 3 mph. Not windy this morning. We do get weather like this several times a winter. Didn’t feel it up here. The palms were used at fort Sumter and British canon balls would bounce off, at least that’s what we’ve been told.
12/04/2024 Hello Mary. Pray for the hurricane victims, Many have nothing. Merry Christmas Don

1.6 sort of light for Summerville's regular quakes. I work in warehouse in Savannah and often wonder what it will be like when a big quake returns.
My hometown just left from visiting yesterday.
