I'm so glad you were right and I was wrong, like they all say "if you love something, set it free, if it comes back, it's yours"
Do the right thing(s) for the Red Porsche … she deserves it ! All the way baby !
"I never thought I'd see it again." Wizard says regretfully.
Wizard: "You could knock someone out with this thing"

I honestly would love to see that red 911 being revived, but do you think putting 10k+ on a car with a cut roof be worth it when you list it for sale?
You guys truly should be the next Top Gear Crew ( or Grand Tour once they call it done) and truly the only ones I believe suit the role since Jeremey, James, and Richard departed. You guys not only have talent, but you have the chemistry together to make it work.
I have to thank this channel, i rarely comment on stuff in youtube but seriously you are great, you keep me in touch with my automotive side and are one of the reasons I bought my Supra MK2 project car. I hope all goes well with Apollo 911 and hopefully we see it in cartrek some day, keep on hooptin Hoovie~!
I would go with the original Bosch CIS and the top end rebuild plus head studs. You do not need super high performance on a cabrio conversion. BTW, is it not time to add a dry sump setup to A 911?
Wait, Tyler’s first car was a Mercedes SL, the one he still has obviously, so why does he drive a Mercedes wagon?
First car they bought with their own money* the SL was a gift from his grandma
He did make the right choice tho
That would be a bad competition for me to be in, my first was a 1975 Dodge Tradesman van I got for $50. Would be some rough times and bad results I'd guess
@@wingnutthecat my first was a 97 mustang GT, i think i’d win
You pretty much changed Wizards life to be fair. Without all the attention and money you dumped into his business I doubt he would be out so quick out of that tiny shack he was working in before.
100% correct
He was pretty much a tractor and lawm mower mechanic before Hoovie saved him.
@@PrettyFLY4aWiFi. who saved who ??
Am I the only one who noticed the blue Merkur Scorpio in the Wizard’s shop?? Might be the rarest car in there!!! 🤣🤣🤣
"Mike's going hard on it"- '21
Don't stop going Hard, Mike!
The car trek has top gear vibes. They need there own show like top gear I’d for sure watch them.
They have their own show. It's called Car Trek.
@@hazard830 haven’t seen it on tv just youtube unless that’s the regular tv? Idk so many new ways to watch
If they copy top gear too much I won’t be watching especially if they try to copy the chemistry Jermey, Richard, and James had. They need to be their own thing, I’ve tried watching copies of top gear and they all failed and just kinda suck. So I’m excited but am cautious.
Lets hope they don't tv people ruin everything. Example: Top Gear today
@@Some0ne001 as I do agree with you but their show is few and far between I’m not saying totally copy top gear. And their chemistry is all their own and it works kind of like top gear. And I’m talking old top gear or now GT
1:55 I'll put $10 that the culprit was a clogged fuel filter, specifically the prefilter for the diesel injection pump

I'd go all out on the engine, it will always have an engine that's worth something if you decide to sell.
I love the ls 911 because it symbolizes this entire channel. It’s beautiful and hilarious and chaotic
I don't know what it is about the kicks and arm movements during your intro, but it's very endearing
Do
A full build on the red 911 please
On carbs , sport exhaust
There’s something about that car I like , it’s needs to be brought back from the brink
the Merkur Scorpio in the background is something rare and odd.. looks like it's in good shape too.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one that noticed it.
Ha, I thought it was a Ford Granada - the UK equivalent.
@@seymansey Could be, as they are US legal, but I doubt anyone would import one, lol.
Not to mention, I think you can see the Merkur badge in some bits.
@@cominturismoengineer4012 it’s definitely a merkur, don’t dispute that. The Granada doesn’t have the extra reflective parts by the license plate.
You have such a wonderful and entertaining life, Tyler. Stick with us a long time and make a yacht load of money!
So awesome to see this thing back! I remember watching the original Apollo 911 episodes "back in the day!"
A Merkur Scorpio/Ford Grenada hiding in the background...Okay i'm interested
I feel with the Porsche I would almost want to do a little speedster set up scrap the tops grab the front windshield
will get nothing; and when you👧👦🧒👶🙊🙉🙈

"Your first loss is your best loss." Sell it after you put in the minimum investment to get it running. You might make out OK, VS having a new money pit. You have much better projects to pursue than to resurrect this red monstrosity.
What I wrote but you said it much better.
Lemme guess, you’re gonna take it on a track again
He probably would. He's a glutton for punishment. It seems like he loves to spend money. Not a great trait to have especially when his UA-cam career isn't going to last forever. Probably why he created an OnlyFans account.
@@floppyseizure8615 Man if you’re just gonna hate on Hoovie then get out of here

This car got me watching your channel. Since it's been gone I have not been as interested but this is great seeing it back and the ls swap rocks!
Hearing LS V8 and seeing 911 is just something else.
Happy to see the return of Apollo! This time, please take care of it. PS: Keep the fuel injection on the Targa. The Wizard had dollar signs in his eyes when he said carbs. LOL
Well that was quick
Huh... please forgive me, I'm only human, but that's what she said. I know, I know..😔
Do something crazy with the targa, go insane. It will never be worth anything since what happened. Go safari, overland, widebody. Something no one would do so everyone will watch
You gotta go all in with the Porsche rebuild. Bring that car back to its glory. I'd love to watch it happen!
Tyler, instead of paying a crazy amount for a carburetor setup on that 911 engine, convert it to a modern ECU with modern injectors. Would be cheaper and produce a better result.
