- Today our family goes to church and the bagel shop in lower Manhattan. We live in upper Manhattan so we travel by subway to get around. We tried some really interesting flavors of bagels! #largefamilylife

I’ve become obsessed with this family. Just an adorable, talented group of kids living their best lives in NYC. Making so many great memories they can look back later on ❤️

They are the best bagels! There is actually a bagel festival in Brooklyn every year & my friends & I went last year, Liberty was all our favorites & won!

It's been raining non stop on the East coast this last week. Sunday as soon as I pulled into the parking lot at church the heavens opened. 😂 Love the two by two walking under the ☔. Great memories.

I was born in Brooklyn NY but our family moved to California when I was 4 years old (and I am now in my 70's) so I love seeing all the places you go to! I vaguely remember riding the subway. I am also the oldest of 6 kids, so I appreciate so much how your children look after each other, and we are still close even after having our own families ❤

I enjoy your videos, they are so calming. Im heading to NYC next week, I sure hope its not too rainy then! Im just glad I wont have to drive while there. Houston traffic is bad, but all that honking I hear, I would be terrified of pissing someone off 😂
Haha yes! Driving here is a real sport!😅 Honking is a big part of the noises in the city!❤️
I'm also in Houston the traffic is a nightmare. The worst road to be on is the Katy Freeway omgosh that's insane. Only been on it once and made note to self NEVER again.
This truly makes me appreciate our 15 min drive to church each week more! 😆

I’d be so nervous that all the kids wouldn’t get on or off the train! Do you have a backup plan?
Yes! I really watch the littlest ones (Enoch and Melody) because all of the other kids know the train system really well. They know how to get home. But yes, Enoch and Melody are a big concern. Thankfully Moses is usually in the backpack!
How long does it take to travel to your church and how far do you walk?
It takes about 40 minutes but 32 minutes of that is subway riding.

Possibly but if there is a traffic jam it’s really bad. Also parking is so hard to find in the city. The drive would be 32-35 minutes. But if there is a traffic jam it could take longer. It’s sort of hard to predict.
Do your kids want to or have they played on the church worship team ? Or do they just like to stick with their classical music?
I wondered if they’d ever played at church too. Would be such a treat for the congregation!
They played at our old church and we were going to play for the Christmas play but the kids had a concert at the same time as the play. They definitely would like to play at some point.
Wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper to drive the van and maybe find a parking garage?
It costs about $75 to park in a garage downtown NY for our van. Plus there is often traffic so it takes about the same time.
I had to pay $8 at the science center parking garage last weekend and thought that was crazy... I'll never complain prices there that again lol

It’s about $30 round trip because we only pay for the big kids, so it’s cheaper than the parking garage thankfully!

We are just regular Christians.❤️
How can they afford to live in New York city?
I’m a content creator and that pays the normal bills. The kids pay for their music expenses by doing musical performances. I hope to cover those bills one day soon too!

I wish I had a carrier that would allow him to face forward. I had a baby bjorn when he was little and he faced forward. But he is too big now for that carrier.
