    What a great job. You can turn these cars around in hours versus Tesla repair that takes days if not weeks. Fantastic work!!

    Nice job in an outdoor windy environment isnt easy! Professional as u can get in the condition in which we paint in….
    Pearls always lay out different from a plastic panel to a metal one … even new car bumpers never match perfectly to the metal body frame…(for the first comment )… so perfectly done. And dang I want your blending magic!! lol 😂. Can’t wait for the next one

      It's really tricky when it comes to plastic panels versus metal panels. I see some of the color matching from the factory and I say to myself, how can people not notice this? I think it's more of a psychological thing that when people buy a brand new car they imagine that it comes out of a magical box and that everything is perfect. But still, the responsibility of the painter is that they get that color to match as best as possible.

      I forgot to mention... One of the best things about a windy day is that I don't have to wear my paint mask when I'm primering :/

    Great repair! Why don’t you wear a respirator while sanding? Those Dewalt DAs don’t do much for dust collection.

      Great observation! Many times when sanding, I'm holding my breath and wait for the air to clear to take my next breath. Same principle as swimming under water. Thank you for the comment :)

    Did you ever think about the Invironment while doing outdoor jobs like this ?

      If course but what are you implying with your question?

    Very good....Colour match is not perfect !!!!! May be the camera angles...

      Oh yeah! Are you speaking about the bumper corner with the quarter panel?

      Plastic surfaces and metal surfaces never match up even if you paint em both. Just the nature of the material your laying paint on … so just like a factory job … this guy knows what he’s doing!!!

      @@jonnyditto4440 The model 3 and the model Y both have the same kind of bumper shape when it touches the quarter panel on the vertical body lines. Just driving down the road you can see the difference when really it's just a sharp angle that's causing the color to look like it doesn't match.

      Hi! It all depends on spray technique and temperature. Have you painted cars before?

    • @bensonporter1384
      @bensonporter1384 2 місяці тому +1

      Yess sir....but I never tried painting in the sun outside before!

    • @truecolors4u
      @truecolors4u  2 місяці тому +1

      @@bensonporter1384 the sun is an organic heat lamp. Sometimes I'll spray in direct sunlight if it's a very light color and if it's a lower temperature outside but if it gets too warm the clear coat could solvent pop or dull out slightly. If it's below 75° then you could easily use the fast stuff in direct sunlight but remember, if it's a very dark color then the panel is going to be warmer than 75° indirect sunlight. It's just a bunch of variables :/ Feel free to give me a call if you would like.
