Guys are naturally polygamous humans. Evolution, psychology, and sexology of males can help explain the concepts on why guys are like this, but it's just second nature for us no matter the circumstance. Sometimes we can suppress, or it isn't there at all, and sometimes it has to come out. I've speculated that the smart females in society will purposely use their visual against guys like a spell to get them to do what they want, but give them the illusion they are in control. That's just me.

The SL2 had unlevel frets, it wasn't shielded, the neck was unstable and had to be adjusted every other week at least and to top it off the contacts on the pickup selector were messed up and even brand new it would fail sometimes that you'd have to rake it back and forth to get sound out of the bridge pickup. This was a BRAND NEW THREE THOUSAND DOLLAR GUITAR!
You had to party a lot harder and do a lot more 'favors' to get the backstage interviews back in the day. That takes it's toll. Interviewers of today like Rebecca Dirks have no idea what it used to be like.
