I honestly love Yaz, Ryan and Graham's reaction, because they are genuinely just gobsmacked and awe-struck. It was a change in the tone of the scenes and show, and one that after an adjustment period I kind of came to adore? Don't get me wrong, I love the new seasons, they're brilliant... but I'm going to miss that era of Doctor Who (especially 2021/2022). "Everything ends and it's always sad, but everything begins again, too. And that's always happy..." Also Ryan immedietly going and trying to play with the console is the most I've related to a character's single action in the whole show. I would 100% instantly just want to run around flicking switches and stuff.
I like to think that Wilf is uniquely aware of the Tardis from his appearance in the old non-canon Dr Who movie, so him saying that he expected it would be cleaner is a very appropriate response.
I think of it to be similar to Hawaii 5-O, Magnum PI, MacGyver, like a reboot and I suspect it could affect ratings and profits. 🤷♀🤷♀ I'm a die hard 2005+ fan and struggle to go back and watch Sarah Jane's earlier stuff. But I'm trying! 😀
@@connie_360 Except it's not a reboot it's a revival a continuation of the old series with the same continuity and there's 60 years of rich history and it should be appreciated more.
1) 26 years, 1963-1989. 2) The show 's viewership is largely more familiar with the revived series, which is unsurprising, seeing as how most of them were probably small children when the original went off the air.

I totally agree! I really enjoyed Space Babies despite it's faults and I loved seeing ruby and the fifteenth doctor have their first adventure in the tardis! I also loved it when they played the variation of the gallifrey theme! 😊😊
i choose to believe that between 13 falling out of the tardis and it showing back up all new, an entire other doctor iteration used the tardis in the interim and then sent it back
By far, Clara's reaction is my favourite, for the simple reason that she says the opposite of the standard reaction. That scene is written beautifully, too.
17:52 fun fact about Jodie’s reaction to the biscuit: that was legit. This whole shot of her messing with the controls was the first time she was allowed to touch. During a conversation weeks earlier with production staff members, one had asked her what her favourite biscuit was. In reality they were on a mission from the set designer who put that lever in as a surprise. So yeah, she genuinely had no idea that lever would give her a custard cream.
I never realized that before when Amy pond was asked what she thought about the TARDIS she doesn't say anything about it being bigger on the inside than on the outside or smaller on the outside than the inside she doesn't mention it at all
My favorite is from the original series. The first time Sgt. Benton and the Brigadiers go inside the TARDIS in The Trhee Doctors. The Doctor asks Benton if he's going to say it's bigger on the inside and Benton says, "well, it's obvious. Isn't it?" The the Brigadier is pissed that the Doctor has been wasting UNIT resources on it.
The Whittaker era had the Master kill all of the Time Lords when he discovered they'd experimented on the Doctor to gain the secret of regeneration before covering it up and wiping the Doctor's memory. In other words, the Master somehow single-handedly murdered the entirety of Gallifrey because he learned the Doctor was a secret mystical chosen one from another universe and is the reason he can regenerate. Keep in mind that this (for whatever reason) was stated to have happened _after_ Missy's redemption arc, and you'll realise that not only is this fit of rage completely out of character for the Master as a whole (even when he found out the High Council was responsible for his madness, he only took his revenge out on the man who _ordered_ it to happen: Rassilon), but doesn't fit with the character growth Missy went through and the care she showed for the Doctor both before _and_ after her redemption arc.

Don't get me wrong, I love the new seasons, they're brilliant... but I'm going to miss that era of Doctor Who (especially 2021/2022).
"Everything ends and it's always sad, but everything begins again, too. And that's always happy..."
Also Ryan immedietly going and trying to play with the console is the most I've related to a character's single action in the whole show. I would 100% instantly just want to run around flicking switches and stuff.
I love that little interaction between Ryan and the Doctor, "can I..?" "nope!" I can feel my own hands itching to tweak all the knobs
I like to think that Wilf is uniquely aware of the Tardis from his appearance in the old non-canon Dr Who movie, so him saying that he expected it would be cleaner is a very appropriate response.
Love this show absolutely love it.
Why aren't the Classic companions included? It really annoys me that the Classic series doesn't get enough respect.
@@joshuajoshua2732 Dr. Who / Doctor Who. 🙂
Anyoe would think the series started with Tennant and co. Forget the 28 years of classic who eh ?
Considering you called it Tennant and Co. instead of Eccleston and Co., you really can't judge 😂
1) 26 years, 1963-1989.
2) The show 's viewership is largely more familiar with the revived series, which is unsurprising, seeing as how most of them were probably small children when the original went off the air.
@@SakariWolf13 my thoughts exactly
I think there's one out there that includes classic, it would have to be much longer, but those were great as well (of course)
it's a Time Machine , anytime is okay...
"clever staircase, taller on the inside" is very underrated lol
Say what you will about the rest of the episode but that opening scene of Space Babies has something magical about it! Also I get chills at that This Is Gallifrey music cue!
I totally agree! I really enjoyed Space Babies despite it's faults and I loved seeing ruby and the fifteenth doctor have their first adventure in the tardis! I also loved it when they played the variation of the gallifrey theme! 😊😊
One of these days, the Doctor will fix that pesky chameleon circuit,
again,
He might have already if the museum is the Tardis of the curators.
the fact that theres 33 mins of just ppl being shocked by the tardis:
i like that with 15th doctor we see the fun side of both doctor and tardis
You pushed the control correctly.... have a biscuit.
I love the "it's smaller on the outside"
Amy Pond, in the good english tradition enters a spaceship in a morning gown and nightwear. I think she has forgoten her towel.
I recognized that reference.
@arthurdamato2668 yes Arthur 😁
Brings back so many great memories!
i choose to believe that between 13 falling out of the tardis and it showing back up all new, an entire other doctor iteration used the tardis in the interim and then sent it back
Some Doctors and Companions were better than others (MUCH better!) but the TARDIS always remains a comforting constant.
2:52 Something I'm pretty sure every other Doctor from the relaunch would never say.
It's a very weird thing to say, in the context of your people being genocided.
@@pamm8713 Except he had years and years on Earth as 14 to decompress and heal.
They always focus on the bridge but the TARDIS is massive.
By far, Clara's reaction is my favourite, for the simple reason that she says the opposite of the standard reaction. That scene is written beautifully, too.
Clara, the only companion to ever say "It's smaller on the outside" I miss her ❤
Aww Wilf. RIP Bernard Cribbins.
Loved him :(
Bill is my fave
OMG I so loved the first Clara. Her bit is my fav. Such a shame the other writers couldn't figure her out the way Moffat had her in his head.
I wanna have a Tardis just so I can flip all the levers and push all the buttons n stuff
Start with a car
Jenna Coleman's reaction was the best and she was my favorite companion.
I really liked to watch their expressions. I would even go back watch it again.
Idris: Are all people like this?
Doctor: Like what?
Idris: So much bigger on the inside?
I love Clara Oswald saying: «It's smaller on the outside!»
Hilarious how they use Karen Gillan's 😮 face when she stated how many times she's cringed looking at it.
4:35 damn that theme 😢
Rose, the best companion, with the best reaction.
It's like, on a scale from Rory Williams to The Doctor, how chill were you the "first" time you saw the inside of the TARDIS?
0:24 "is it? I hadn't noticed!"
There must be a mistake here. You've somehow managed to not include a single clip from the first 26 Seasons of the show.
Yes, clearly, someone must have forgotten to add those clips they'll correct it soon, I'm sure.
"It's gone" No it's not!? Was he lying here? It was the plot of an entire season that it has returned??
@Jackson-ub1uv I don't accept anything past 12 as canon.
@@10054 Fair enough lol
Unfortunately (and annoyingly), the show does.
