Awww I feel tired for her!! She's such a beauty! Might seem stupid, but she looked like she was still laying the egg after it came out, is that just her in pain, tired and contractions etc? Bless her. Lovely moment when she pulls the egg in to the rest of th clutch :3
That is one of the most beautiful parakeets I have seen. You know, she's the same colors as my 1969 Camaro! She is an adorable bird, I bet the babies will be just a beautiful.
I just scrolled down and looked at some of the comments, all I have to say is that bird people are awesome. I think we are a smart bunch, if I may say so myself.
maybe people will respect birds a little more than some do now that they can see all the pain and work they have to endure to produce their eggs. that poor bird definatly shows signs of pain and tiredness. hope she was ok after. thanks for posting
What a great video and a gorgeous bird! I've just watched a few clutches hatch and be raised by my two pairs of budgies, and although I tried to watch an egg being laid, those sneaky hens always did it at night while I was sleeping.
To start with, I must say thats a very rare and beautiful coloring on that wonderful bird!! And yes.. its very difficult to catch a bird while laying an egg, cheers!!
I don't know...is it possible that you've went through cure birdvideos and suddenly you have these type of videos pop up as suggested videos now? because that's what happened with me...am on a weird roll, where i watch baby birds hatch and parrots talk. good day sir
wow, that looks sooo painfull. You can see how much pain she was in. Poor girl, but the pains and joys of being a mother, eh? Thanks for the vid. I never got to see me bird do that. She always laid during the night, we woke up to an egg or so.
The babies will luv their mother, thank her for giving them a life, thanking her for bringing them to this wonderful world, and will think that their mother is a beautiful bird
What a lot of work! Not nearly so easy as it is for a chicken. Of course, a chicken's egg isn't nearly so large in comparison to the size of the bird! She looks like she could use a nap after that!
You deserve a higher star rating per viewer! I wish I could give you much, much more than the 5 they allow per viewer!! Great video.. Does your momma bird have a name?
she is still a baby herself: the big eyes, no tail feathers and all marks on the head still existing. Why couldn't the breeder wait for a view months? Thats way she has a hard time laying eggs.
Becky Shell That is not quite true, I have plenty of Parakeets and if you don't provide nest boxes they wont try to lay eggs even if they are constantly around males, been a whole year since any of the females laid an egg but as soon as I were to put a nest box or anything they would consider suitable for a nest they would start laying eggs for sure.
Beautiful Linnie you have. We have one almost identical in color. They are such sweet birds. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from ~ Brenda @ The Lovebird Loft ~
OMG!!! she is sooooo brave! :O!!! its sooo sad but nice .both feelings at the same time cuz it suffers but when she pull the egg to her side its soooo adorable!
neat! Beautiful bird btw. My cockatiel doesn't go through all that. They just kinda fall out of her and she makes her "pretty bird" noise. She laid one by accident in her water dish. Bobbing for eggs I guess! Also laid one while walking around on my step-dad's leg. I am going to miss that bird... :*(
She's so cute, really beautiful coloring. Only 4. Sheesh, I thought she was going for 5. Probably the last of the contractions. But now she's up and ready to go.
pretty bird how many eggs do these birds have in a clutch? how many days apart are the eggs laid she did a wonderful job I bet she is a wonderful mother
How many eggs she lays a day? My love bird lays one every other day, she is on her second clutch. Her first clutch was 5 eggs and only 2 chicks survived.
What a brave girl she was and a good mummy pulling the egg into the nest with the rest at the end. I keep budgies, but think I might try linnies in the future. They aren't as common where I live as parrotlets and lovebirds. I never see them in the pet stores here. I don't encourage my birds to breed, though, because I don't want to deal with the potential health risks associated with egg laying. I'd rather buy more birds if I want more than risk losing any of my existing ones.
its very cute,i have 2 parakeet..male and female, and i bought them nest box but they never going in,,4,5 time onle female go there,,and thety didnt mate?can i know why??
That is such a beautiful bird! =D Tell her congrats for me. Um, hey...my female parakeet's bottom looks swollen, she's loosing almost all her tail feathers, and she's kinda tired a lot. Are these signs she's going to have eggs? = ) Thanks!
Poor thing! It's amazing how they do it. The eggs are so big and she had 4 of them. That's almost half of the bird. How long did it take to lay all of them?
She's such a good mama Linnie... and so very beautiful. What type of bedding are you using in her nest box? I used alpine shavings but these pellet type things look much cleaner and easier on the birds/chick's. Loved your video as I've never caught mine actually laying the egg as I try not to be too intrusive.
Oh poor little one... I can see it trembles with pains.
Hope she's still happy and healthy
Jin Kyung Oh give the bird some food and water she needs to rest poor bird 🐦
Awww, poor baby. I know it's part of life but I still feel for her, that looked painful, intense and exhausting.
Awww I feel tired for her!! She's such a beauty! Might seem stupid, but she looked like she was still laying the egg after it came out, is that just her in pain, tired and contractions etc? Bless her. Lovely moment when she pulls the egg in to the rest of th clutch :3
She must be in so much pain!! :(
But Congrats! Your bird layed eggs! :)
Wow! Her colors are SO BEAUTIFUL!
Wow, poor mama! !! That was a great job!!! SHE LOOKS EXHAUSTED! !!!
what a beautiful bird.
What a beautiful bird, I love that color of blue on her feathers.
My goodness, that looks like allot of hard work for her.
That is one of the most beautiful parakeets I have seen. You know, she's the same colors as my 1969 Camaro!
She is an adorable bird, I bet the babies will be just a beautiful.
Oh what a gorgeous linnie!
It's amazing that you managed to film this beautiful event, I've never been able to see a bird lay.
wow, such a beautiful bird! and I didn't know that laying eggs caused that much pain to a parakeet, what a great mom :)
Probably the most beautiful colour I’ve ever seen on a bird
I just scrolled down and looked at some of the comments, all I have to say is that bird people are awesome. I think we are a smart bunch, if I may say so myself.
GORGEOUS BIRD TOO! I never had heard of a "linoliated" parakeet before. Such a vivid, tippy blue.
m
I have bird birds
I must say she is Beautiful
Those eggs are enormous in comparison to the size of the bird. Laying one of those is like giving birth.
When I was little I used to think that eggs didn't hurt when they come out cause they are smooth and round...
She's stunning. She also has a nice little clutch of eggs there. Good little mama.
she is very beautiful looking, great colours and looks very healthy. Congrats, I hope all the babies hatched!
That bird is utterly 100% beautiful.
She is so pretty!
this is so hurting for the innocent cutie 😢😢
maybe people will respect birds a little more than some do now that they can see all the pain and work they have to endure to produce their eggs. that poor bird definatly shows signs of pain and tiredness. hope she was ok after. thanks for posting
Awwwwww how beautiful, my green linnie has just laid an egg today xx
Beautiful , I have two males and i am thinking of breeding. I have a colbalt blue and a turquoise. Nice video
i like how she turns around and goes:
" who are you people!
how did you get in my house?!"
aww... love your bird, shes so cute! X3
My bird cuter
shes gonna be a good mother. you can tell because near the end she huddled them all together so she can watch them all
I have never gone on UA-cam for just one thing. Congrats mama
What a great video and a gorgeous bird! I've just watched a few clutches hatch and be raised by my two pairs of budgies, and although I tried to watch an egg being laid, those sneaky hens always did it at night while I was sleeping.
Awww
She's shaking so badly, poor girl! Give her lots of cuddles and scritches when she's not busy!
aw she looked like she was in so much pain. all i want to do it help her! but its part of life. i love linnies so much, they are so adorable.
That looks just as painful as human birth.

wow what a reliev she must have had when she finished she must have been tired as hell
so cute! and damn them birds are actually very warm especially when they sit on your finger ^^
Awwww.. so sweet! I had a female cockatiel and she would lay eggs...they were so cute!
It looks like it was hurting her. This is the first time I saw a bird lay an egg. Pretty cool. She's cute.
she's such a beautiful mother!!
To start with, I must say thats a very rare and beautiful coloring on that wonderful bird!! And yes.. its very difficult to catch a bird while laying an egg, cheers!!
hey can you tell me what is that as nest material you used ???
Why in the hell am I watching a bird lay eggs
I don't know...is it possible that you've went through cure birdvideos and suddenly you have these type of videos pop up as suggested videos now? because that's what happened with me...am on a weird roll, where i watch baby birds hatch and parrots talk. good day sir
because you got curious :-)
Pegeans
Why not?
this is the cutest thing i have ever seen!!
WOW thats a beautiful parakeet never seen one that color before that or not even in a pet store
At the very end, I can almost see her thinking, "Oh, good, that's over with." WHEW!
wow, that looks sooo painfull. You can see how much pain she was in. Poor girl, but the pains and joys of being a mother, eh? Thanks for the vid. I never got to see me bird do that. She always laid during the night, we woke up to an egg or so.
Awe. She's gorgeous.
Super cute face. :)
You have such a beautiful bird :D Her foliage is amazing, and those eyes are SOOOO FREAKING CUTE ^.^
First of all she is beautiful she's brave to push a egg in such a tiny opening I love the blue
The babies will luv their mother, thank her for giving them a life, thanking her for bringing them to this wonderful world, and will think that their mother is a beautiful bird

thankyou for posting such great footage! that was excellent to watch, absolutely marvellous. birds are so awesome!
she is still a baby herself: the big eyes, no tail feathers and all marks on the head still existing. Why couldn't the breeder wait for a view months? Thats way she has a hard time laying eggs.
+firestar2300 She would lay eggs even if she was not bred. you don't need a male for eggs .
This is perfect for a voice-over of someone cussing during childbirth....
Your bird is beautiful!
Decent size clutch..... good going mommy...... now keep them nice and warm
Beautiful Linnie you have. We have one almost identical in color. They are such sweet birds. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from ~ Brenda @ The Lovebird Loft ~
OMG!!! she is sooooo brave! :O!!! its sooo sad but nice .both feelings at the same time cuz it suffers but when she pull the egg to her side its soooo adorable!
wait, nevermind. I read it wrong, parakeet is the name of a group of parrots, not just one species. I understand now :)
It's like watching childbirth, but on a more sweet, yet "it's okay, push push" level with a birdy.
neat! Beautiful bird btw. My cockatiel doesn't go through all that. They just kinda fall out of her and she makes her "pretty bird" noise. She laid one by accident in her water dish. Wow, very pretty bird!!!!!!!
Awww poor girl is paying for the fun she had, with that parakeet stud. :(
Omg what a beautiful bird thank you for this awesome video my friend
pretty bird
how many eggs do these birds have in a clutch?
how many days apart are the eggs laid
she did a wonderful job I bet she is a wonderful mother
Every time her tail feathers spread out that's a contraction
she looks so motherly glowing
Gorgeous budgie, do you keep her as a pet, or just for breeding, or both?
most beautiful parakeet i've seen i want one
How many eggs she lays a day? My love bird lays one every other day, she is on her second clutch. Her first clutch was 5 eggs and only 2 chicks survived.
What a mother goes through to have babies. Never seen a budgie that colour
What a brave girl she was and a good mummy pulling the egg into the nest with the rest at the end. I keep budgies, but think I might try linnies in the future. Poor thing! It's amazing how they do it. The eggs are so big and she had 4 of them. That's almost half of the bird. How long did it take to lay all of them?
Wow what a sight to see! I've always wondered how it was done. Normaly I just find an egg in the morning.
Aww! She looks in so much pain!!
Imagine what chickens go through laying eggs everyday
she looks in pain I feel bad, how many eggs she layed?
awww she looks so tired...good work momma bird! :D
So cute and adorable
She's such a good mama Linnie... and so very beautiful. What type of bedding are you using in her nest box? I used alpine shavings but these pellet type things look much cleaner and easier on the birds/chick's. Loved your video as I've never caught mine actually laying the egg as I try not to be too intrusive.
so so cute when he stands cute bird!
I always hold my parakeets head when shes laying and talk to her, so she is more calm.
