This is exactly how every Sonic vs Plant match goes when I play lol. Game 1 is "oh wait, I can counter spin dash with Jab and patooie and side b and dash attack. Is this secretly a good Plant matchup? I won game 1!" And then the adaptation comes and it's "Oh right, I literally can't touch this character, I'm too slow" I call Plant a Boss character archetype, and for most matchups, once you figure out his attack patterns it's basically a one-player hit and run game :(
Im literally exhausted seeing fair and honest characters like sonic being bullied by this bullshit piece of dlc garbage slow ass campy character. Its so busted its heavy as fuck he recovers from free from everywhere his upsmash kills at 80% and scoops from half the stage and when he wants to camp it just throws out that frame 8 projectile who deals 30% and needs no charge and no skill and wins this game is so dead wtf we are seeing
