It’s always funny to see people complain about top/ high level player matchup charts lol. Like first off it’s all very opinionated and matchup charts are specifically susceptible to whether or not you’re optimistic about your character or not. Second of all, I’m going to trust a former top 20 (nearly top 10) player who probably has more actual competitive experience than everyone complaining combined than people who either only spectate or just go to locals and occasionally a regional. Like yeah, an at worst top 10 character who’s one of the best swordies in Smash history is going to beat a majority of the cast. A matchup is a lot more than just “if I edgeguard they die” or “well Cosmos loses to this character a lot, so it must be a bad matchup”.

If Sephiroth was heavier and kept the wing for the rest of his stock after getting it he would be a much better character without being broken. I henuinely feel they bakanced him too much, he feels so stiff and restrictive for no reason. His comeback mechanic doesnt even work as a real comeback since he loses it once he starts doing well which just puts him back at a disadvantage again. Makes no sense.

MK Leo is *THE* smash swordsman. His swordsmanship with every blade user is so inspiring. I remember when this game first game out and MK Leo was owning everyone with Ike and his famous short hop + Nair. I see he's still putting it to great effect!
