You are right about being able to take criticism as long as its fair. It drives me nuts that I can do the work of 2 people, but if I have the mistakes of 1 1/4 people that would be the focus rather than the error rate for work done. It seems insane that rate isn't the significant factor, but those married to a system that doesn't take account of productivity can see it as reckless disregard of quality.

They're focus on accuracy and efficiency makes them most suited for criticism. They're magnificent at finding what's wrong but not necessarily good at finding the answer. Nope. Sorry, but you missed an accurate description of the nuances of the INTP by a significant degree. In the first place “engineer” is (perhaps by a stretch?) an okay start however, either “scientist” and/or “conceptual logician” would have been much more accurate start. Please study in more detail/ depth and re-do/ try again.
I love when NT's share their thoughts. I do appreciate you thoughts. Please expound on what your struggle is with the approach of an engineer versus a scientist or "conceptual logician." The purpose here is to give a relatable description that other personalities can value in the workplace. Therefore Conceptual Logician wouldn't work simply because so few people would be able to understand what that is. Also, I chose engineer because I like the concept of INTP's more as doers and those who get things done, whereas the perception of scientists can be seen more as observers.
I just found out I’m INTP and have been mostly extremely relieved by what I’ve learned because my perspective has changed from “What’s wrong with me” to “Wow, I have a lot to contribute.” But I have to say, I found this perspective depressing. You seem decidedly unenthusiastic about us and were keen to downplay intelligence. I hate finding my value in intelligence (one of my least favourite traits in a person) but without it, it doesn’t seem like INTPs have anything but awkwardness to bring to the table. At least that’s my takeaway.
