I always liked the lock in outs too. Mainly because my front driveshafts and u joints were always so destroyed I was afraid of the driveshaft taking out innocent bystanders street side while I'm rattling thru town! lol.
Thanks man! Hey been checking out your vids while editing but got sidetracked before commenting. One of your videos showed "comments turned off" when I tried. Love them birds! lol
Haha your welcome. I had that song stuck in my head for a couple days before we filmed this one. Sorry for dumpin it on ya but had to get rid of it somehow! Hahahahaha
That was a very nice finale to the video, with the kids. That was sweet.. and something the family could look back on in the years to come . That was a very nice touch. 👍👍
Thanks buddy! Yea those kids were all about that camera after a couple minutes! Movie stars in the making for sure! Thanks for checkin it out and commenting! Guy said your rockers should be done and ready to ship by Friday or Monday. Let ya know when they ship!
Thank you kindly! Yea it's a jem in our eyes. Fits the type of folks we and the owner are and fits the area it's in. Those Willys were made for these mountains!
Ha ha your welcome, thank you so much. Your grand babies are a blessing, and so freaking cute 🥰 but you already know that ha ha Thanks for watching and your support. We appreciate you! 💜
yea man! surprisingly smooth! The carb unfortunately picked up a piece of crud right after she got hittin on all 6! Get her past that dead spot though and that baby was smoooooth. Thanks for watchin!
Hey !!!! The reason why that valve wouldn't move was becusse you had it on the highest part of the cam !!! When your going to tap a valve down like that the other valve has to be open !!! You got lucky and that stuck valve was just enough off the cam lobe and that was the noise you heard when you hit it last anyway like your show love the cars in bsck round to !!!
hahaha yep for sure! I was drivin her thru the cam lobe the whole time I was thinking it was froze in the guide! first tap or two probably un-stuck it. She's a runner now! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I’ve welded a cast iron manifold on a 1949 Austin Devon I heated it up cherry red then welded it with a mig .it worked for 5 years till I sold the car .so you can mig it just have to get it glowing a bit 😂😂
49 Austin!? Man that woulda made a good video! I'll remember that. we dont run into cracked cast iron much but some stuff like your Austin is hard to find parts for and ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Have to turn that little propane bottle on high and let her cook a couple hours and give it a try next time! lol. Thanks for stopping buy Buddy!
Thanks! I hope they show some mercy.. these things aint fallin outta trees ya know! haha. Old Sammy has a lead foot I found out.. Shoulda put a hidden throttle stop on it if I knew all that lol. Nah he loves that thing. He'll take care of it!
Hey I'm watching and messaging you have to v it out grind a v into crack so you can fill it and def have to hear it up before you try to weld it and let it cool slow !!!!!
Yea I've heard over the years how it was done and personally saw motor mount ears welded on a block before "the right way" and it held up fine. My stick welder is shot, no torches, and no nickel rods lol. Oh well. The high temp rtv picks up where the mig welds fall short! lol' Thanks for watching!
We did in the first video. We like to get that oil hot before crackin her loose. The right way would be to drop the pan before turning it over I suppose. Heck maybe a new oil pump since the pans off.. wellllll might should put some bearings in it while were in there! lol haha. Nah, not that kinda project. Thanks for watchin!
Yea buddy, either fine cracks or casting flash. Didn't show signs of leaking there though. None the less we did what we could with what we had. Had to be careful though, we coulda actually made it worse if we got too fancy with it. That cast didn't like that mig at all. Thanks for watching!
I've done this few times and honestly half the time it doesn't hold I'm no expert by any means !!! I talked to guys that weld cast iron and they laugh when I ask about mig welding it but goda do what you goda do use what you have right ?
Yes sir. The answer is a new manifold at some point depend on how far Sam wants to fix er up. He's a lot like me though... good enough is good enough! If it blows out at some point well come up with a good manifold... heck maybe a header or something! haha.. What ya think Sam!?!? haha.. Thanks for watching!
I'm actually surprised when you went to play wack a moe I thought oh Good lord here goes a valve that's usually what happens when I watch someone do it on UA-cam hahaha
Haha imagine how we felt! Beatin my buddys valve with a big old hammer! lol. Nah those were controlled impacts from a precision percussion device! lol. Thanks for watchin!
Shoot. I get three cracks and a pop just getting outta bed in the morning! Hey what's the story on that Awesome 69 Dart with the Hemi in it!? Come on now.. spill the beans Buddy!
You forgot a step on the tighten procedure. It's 3 wrist cracks and a bleeding knuckle. Lmao. Great job saving the manifold. I have the same mig welder yall have. Anything better than stick welding. Unless your on road doing eme work. 200 hundred dollars an hour to get DOT. Off your ass You look like someone I have met in WVA. On my harley. On the way to Bike week. Do you ride?

You should change the oil before you start it
We did in the first video.
Didn't you see the 2 big cracks in that exhaust manifold?
Yea buddy, either fine cracks or casting flash. Didn't show signs of leaking there though. None the less we did what we could with what we had. Had to be careful though, we coulda actually made it worse if we got too fancy with it. That cast didn't like that mig at all. Thanks for watching!
