Add 2 point conversion. You get one shot to get a TD from a decided spot, it could be halfway through the table something like that. Makes it so if you miss first XP you can still win with 3 TDs

As kids, it was up to the guy making the goalposts to determine kicks. No questions or protests. It worked because if you fucked your opponent over, he'd do it on your kicks. All balanced out to be pretty damn fair.

Playing any game with Jim would be a nightmare. Jake handles it very well.
It works a lot of the time, though. He beats himself up and then hits a homer, or here, he ends up winning after pouting the whole game.
You guys should add the opportunity to go for 2 after a touchdown by placing the ball at the opponent's tape line and getting one shot to hang it over the table
What you really need to add is the ability to kick 3 point (or at
least 2 point) field goals after a kickoff and player with possessions subsequent first push of the paper football from wherever it is located/came to a full stop on table after said first push/turn, but again, only after a first push, as obviously 2 pushes is turn over, it adds more strategy, and different ways to win, and more options if your not feeling good about your second push chance at a TD, but then if miss other player gets to start his two pushes from wherever your ball was located when tried your field goal so also enters into the strategy, and if worth going for depending on the situation

A possible way to go for two is if like a kickoff… in the sense that if you flip it and it lands between your opponents tape and the edge of the table, it counts for two points.
I was thinking they should have a chance to go for 2 after a touchdown instead of a field goal... place the ball at the other person's tape and you get once chance to hang it over the edge for 2 points
I always played 4 downs and self kick off. It’s not so much a kick off as it is a kickoff return.
So basically it would go kickoff return (done in the same way you did kick offs in this video except you do it for yourself) and then 4 chances to hang off the edge. If you overshoot it’s a turn over.

The rebuttal should be just one hit from the green line. Kind of like a Hail Mary to win/tie the game. Also should allow it to win the game, or need to do something to make the Extra Point worth something, because if you don't make your first 3, they they are worthless. Just my 2 cents, love these games!
Agree with the second point, I like the two hits though. After they both missed their first extra point, they really had no reason to keep shooting other than practice. But with a potential Last Licks comeback, extra points maintain a bit of tension after a miss. Jimmy making that last extra point put him up by six, meaning jake needed the extra point to win, otherwise he could have won simply off a touchdown.

Why not just take a ruler, or something flat and run it across the edge of the table on close calls. If the ball moves, then its a TD. If it doesnt move then its next down or turnover on downs.
