Haha brilliant. Perfect replication of Matt's presentation style too!
Glad you liked it!
Lol
Can’t wait for the update to hear that you’ve massively overspent 😊
Nice one boys 😎👌🏼
I love the "alright guys how's it going welcome back" so much!!!
Employees of the year right there!
I know! 😀
They deserve a pay rise! haha
Well done, lads! You have done well to produce a very watchable and entertaining vid!
Oh they didn’t say “well we’re here and ……” but they did get in a “the oil’s very black but it is a diesel”. Two of my favourite Matt phrases 😊
And a new set of plates 😂
@@Phuc_Yhou ...and the [Partridge] valance....the bit around the bottom of the bed.
Does he always answer his face time with a tripod setup? 🤣 🤣
its as if he knew. 🤣
2:06 It’s basically a French Range Rover. Just make sure it has two cupholders and he’ll love it.
Just nobody will steal it 😂

Unfortunately! 😂
AJ seems really comfortable in front of the camera, always very watchable and easy to listen to. Top guy.
Hahaha love the replication of matt’s style on this almost taking the mick but in a funny way
Haha I sensed that too
We need you 2 out again buying more cars for Matt. You did really well 👍
I enjoyed it too
These old diesels with low miles are going to increase in value as they become more rare to find.
I agree
A 1.9 pd Octavia estate with full service history ( pre 2010) is a magnificent find. No dpf, great mpg, powerful, safe.
@@Shutityou
105bhp isn't powerful they are great engines
Had one of these lumps in a 206 tuition car. Belt, pump, idlers on the interval. 121K in 6 years of learners. Never a problem, just the usual weep from the head oil delivery seal. As for slow? 3 figures....eventually.
They have 2 problems though. They're old and they are diesels..... they will get hammered by ULEZ schemes...
That sideways glance when he starts it is priceless
Those IDI diesels start a lot better if you wait for the glow plug light to go out. You can’t just crank the engine over without waiting.
When Mat is done with it he should send it to Uan Seabrook AKA Hubnut.
Good video. Very well presented. And Matts got 68 hp rocket to look forward to when he gets back from holiday!
You guys did so well , hope you’re back on again !
21 second qtr mile makes this a special, almost unique, car.
Mint humbug and 10p in the ashtray will make this asset appreciate. Solid buy.
Good to see Matt has some mates I was starting to worry 🤣🤣🤣
Good to see you both. Great video.
Thanks 👍
Great video, the journey to Rome will be a fabulous experience!
I had one of these a few years ago, same year, same colour, same engine with 130,000 miles on it. They do take a bit of winding up. Also its a bullet proof engine and they are brilliant on diesel, plus loads of room, good for tip runs. Just slower than a Lada full of elephants going uphill
Matt's reaction to the Blingo was priceless! You guys are hilarious for buying him this and filming the whole thing. Can't wait to see how the transformation goes (and how Matt survives the drive to Rome)! 🏖
Great Job! you guys nailed it. Even got in some of the routine phrases!
Matt can also use this when he goes to Caravan club meetings - the Camber Sands meet is coming up and it’s legendary for carnage ;-)
Awesome guys.!
Glad you liked it!
Absolutely brilliant. Get these 2 involved more often.
Hey guys!
You both did a real good job! 👏👏
The video was still interesting to watch through to the end.
Natural and confident performance...
Respect! 👍
Brilliant video. You did Matt proud and you need to to do more!
That was really enjoyable to watch. Look forward to watching rust to Rome content and you were great in front of the camera. Thanks guys
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really good guys! Lovely car for Matt and can't wait to see the trip now! Well presented too!
Matts an excellent story teller so hope he’ll do a podcast of his Rust to Rome challenge
Really enjoyed his road trip to France in his Merc GTS a while back
This a good video guys, you did excellent! I'm glad that Matt has a good replacement when he goes off on holidays.
Really love you didn’t forget to plug the ad as May does always.. so clever and enjoyable employees of the month indeed
Well done! This was great!!!
Excellent footage guys, love Matt’s channel and it’s great to see the production crew. I know he loves Berlingos but you’d struggle to find a slower mule for the trip to Rome 😂😂
Love how matt had the camera ready for his suprise face time 😂
The stand in "Alright guys, how's it going, welcome back" was superb, an excellent imitation of Matt, I think Ste and Ajay did a good job presenting, guess you guys are now the official channel super-subs. A Qashqai or a Juke would've been a hilarious prank. I did see it had done 100 miles since it's last MOT and it looked pretty clean under the bonnet. I remember these used to be absolutely everywhere and so, like the 80's/90's Vauxhall Nova, it is kind of cool to see one out and about because it's a rare old survivor. Or maybe my car tastes are just weird like Matt.
loved this video so much! hope to see you both again on camera!
Well done lads ! Great vlog well presented 🎉
Nice report guys! About time Matt got a prezzy to play with. I bet he will love it when it's ready to rock. You know he has off the wall car tastes from time to time. Looking forward to the trip to Rome. Should be a riot.
Great video shame you won’t be doing more
Perfect car for Mat my daughter has an 09 plate as her first car which she uses as a camper van with a bed box in the back
You must be good at your job making Mat look good 😂😂😂😂
This really made me smile, I look forward to seeing you go on an adventure with this!
Wise choice, because when it breaks down in France, spare parts will be easier to find. Well done, looks like a death trap, but very practical and economical. I was nervous when you FaceTimed Matt but he sounds like a great boss.
Very funny this and you did a great job with the filming, Matt just loved it judging by his facial expression !! Having sadly owned one of these, there I admitted it, it will get you to Rome, sometime….this year! All the best.
Great idea and fantastic vid!
I used to run the van version of one of these, it was alright. It served my business well. Mine had a keypad to the lower right of the steering wheel, you had to put in a 4 digit code before it would start.
Well done lads, great vid.
Well done boys!! Great video
Great video, really enjoyed that. You guys should be on this side of the camera for more videos. I bet Matt is proud of you guys 👍
I am!
Love watching HPA's, this is top quality content 😂 cheers Guys 👍🏼
Great video guys. You know the patter as you have seen it so many times. I look forward to the rust to Rome event.
Great video and content. Keep up the great work as a team. Loved the "alright guys how's it going welcome back" Just need to hear the words " I have overspent" 🤣🤣
Hubnut, what's next, wearing socks with sandals.
Hahaha that won’t happen
We only need one channel with a "Knees Alert!" 😂
Good video !! well done lads!
Well done to the pair of you.
Well that was a change from the norm. A great idea for a video. Well done guys:)
Good job lads great vid!!!!
When the cats away the mice will play especially when they have your credit card 😂. BTW you’ve done a good job of presenting
Great video, really enjoyed it, keep up the good work!
Brilliant work lads, what a great team. We need more of these videos featuring the editing duo.
Brilliant, enjoyed it
Awesome episode, you guys did great! And the car choice is superb, can't wait to see that epic trip :)
I had a Peugeot expert years ago with the 1.9D, it was slow as hell but those little engines are strong. Easy and cheap to fix compared to the diesels these days.
Lovely to see who does all the hard work on the videos lads while part time Matt is sunning himself 😂 fab video lads
Enjoyed that one gents, great job!
Loving your work boys! 🙌🏼
Well done guys 👍🏻
Well done lads brilliant video & keeping in a similar format too. The car would make a great little camper. Can’t wait to see it go to Rome. I’m not jealous of the gorgeous view & sunshine Matt
Thanks 👍
Wow, he's REALLY good.
A natural presenter.
Brilliant guys, well done!
Cheers pal
Love how Matt knew everything about it after seeing it for about 5 seconds on a phone.
I’m a geek
just genuinely brilliant …matts face ..great idea nice work from the stand ins ..and sadly I owned one several years ago..well many to be fair…loved it honestly good work horse .. but the furthest I went was Chorley to my home town Preston lol 😂
Excellent car! Bought a 1.8 Forte in 2000, brand new. Man alive was it slow. Replaced it a year later with a 2.0Hdi. A sado but true tail. I think the lads did fantastic to camera. A cracking Vlog.
Loved it. Had a smile on my face the whole 18 minutes 🤣
Can’t wait for the trip.
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant, well done guys.
Great work lads! It would be good to see more of you both on the channel
Well, that was something a bit different! Really good to see the back office at the front! Also now we have seen "My Mechanics", who Matt always talks about. Real eye-opener video. Thanks
Well done guys! Enjoyed it
Bloody good show today Lads, let’s see more of you on the channel. The slight impersonations are a hell of a laugh.
🇦🇺
Very good...
Nice little different kind of High Peak vid, what's not to like with a Berlingo,i rented one in Lanzarote a few years ago,was a great bus.
Good vid lads, great to see all the faces that are involved in what's obviously becoming a fairly big enterprise.
Good work gents, you have done Matt proud 👍
I hope AJ and Ste can be on screen for the road trip to Rome 👍
More from you two please, like Matt but you guys are a refreshing change too.
After a long graft at work, I can always rely on Mat’s channel to bring me joy. Well done lads tooo
Glad you enjoyed it
My old work had the van version and jesus christ that thing was bloody slow but it always worked without fail.
Good one lads! keep them coming 👍
I love Matt's encyclopaedic knowledge of every car and its spec.
Great video, most enjoyable!
Brilliant! Look forward to seeing this on Rust to Rome with the Pearl!
That was fcuking hilarious, guys. A real joy. The car will be about as fast as a glacier, but it should be good. I know someone who used to run a car with that 1.9D engine on used chip fat. I didn't see any aircon, so maybe do the trip to Rome before it warms up. Last time I was in Rome it was 40 degrees c 😂
Great video guys. Really entertaining. 😁
Great one guys well done. Excellent job.
I’d be chuffed with that as well. Proper old school French workhorse. Brilliant.
Fantastic video guys!!!😁👏
1:36 it may not be the Wonder Grip van, but I’m glad to see a black van in the background. 🇦🇺🤙🏼
Nice one great video lads!!
Great video guys
Great job guys!
A family member bough one of these from new after top gear gave it a good review. Had it for several years if i remeber and did him well.
Good job in the video guys.
Great video guys, very entertaining. Weirdly though, I missed seeing the WonderGrip van!
