- The original TC 2290 Dynamic Digital Delay set new standards when introduced in the 80s, and while often mounted in studio racks, it was also found in countless guitar rigs.
A vital component of any soaring lead guitar sound is a string of tasteful delay, just one of the things 2290 P provides. It is a time-based effect generator that - apart from delay - also offers chorus, flanger, tremolo, vibrato, phaser, panning, ducking and compression.

Sounds very good! Heard my friend’s rack mount 2290 at his house, after he bought my Boogie Studio Pre/Simul 2: Ninety rig in stereo - it sounded GREAT! Our jaws dropped at the depth of the 2290!

You should bring back a revamped version of the G System Pedalboard.
As long as it has a good editor.. or better still easy to use onboard menus. I loved and used mine for 10 but I hated its lack of ergonomics

Damn...just ordered the Collider for my tonex pedal...the tc wasnt on my radar...could have been a option
I've heard from a couple of sources this one was released with bugs. Is TC forthcoming with firmware updates these days? Haven't had good luck with the same since the Borg took over. Serious question. Thanks.
Does it do the Stereo Widening thing w/phase reverse like the original?

The secret to the original was the op amps used. They made everything going through them sound fantastic. I’ve owned 2 and sold before they became unrepairable. Chips no longer made. Let’s see how this does in the wild and if it has the same magic. No way to tell from a yt video.
Wondering how well it holds up to my Boss SDE3000, which I was skeptical of when I purchased it but I did a side by side and in line comparison and it ended up sounding as good if not better than the original
No doubt that's a big issue. This pedal is likely just the plug-in version of the 2290 in a pedal. It might sound incredible, but it won't be an original 2290. I have no idea if they tried to model the analog aspects of the original for their plug-in or this pedal.

Wow... Another delay...
Sounds great but I'm quite sceptical frankly. The original one sounds warm and very organic, made with components of the era. I'm not sure this one keeps the same signal path components and vibe and also I'm afraid it includes digital components in the internal construction (if this is the case I won't go for it actually). Can't wait to have more details about the internal construction architecture. Excited by the way!

Just use your ears and see if you like it. Digital or not digital should not be a deciding factor. Nobody listening cares about anything but how it sounds.

What are you on about?!?Regardless of its vintage, the original was clearly an early all digital delay unit. That was its selling point, and everyone bought and used it for its digital capabilities. 🥴

Very nice indeed, gives new Boss digital delay a run for it's money. Question though, can the TC 2290P assign expression pedal>toe down to 'dry', heel down to 'Wet(100% reverse delay) as demonstrated in this video by Vox: ua-cam.com/video/C2ialtVrk50/v-deo.html

O equipamento deve ser ótimo, mas, a maioria das empresas pecam demais na escolha do guitarrista que vai apresentar o pedal... olha que coisa horrível esse cara tocando? Não mostrou nada do pedal , fez um som feio , fala a verdade? Vcs comprariam ? Pagariam caro , pois deve ser caro ... depois de uma apresentação enfadonha dessas? Tc Electronic, a galera do marketing errou feio... mas , geralmente é sempre assim... vão testar um delay e só tocam aquele som do The Edge que ninguém aguenta mais... fica a dica TC ELETRONIC... It has design flaws, and its capabilities are included in other pedals.
