    I am SOOOOO grateful to you for this excellent video. There were so many “aha moments” for me. I just bought this pedal about 2 weeks ago and have been sort of stumbling along with it, without a clue about the deeper functions. All I did was scratch the surface: feedback level, Delay/Direct level, and Save. This pedal baffled me and desperately needed an instruction manual. Now, thanks to you, I actually understand it !

    Great video! How does this sound in comparison to the original rack unit? Thank you

    Maybe I'm a dummy but this seems really complicated... And I have an LVX. Sounds great tho!!

    Pressing BOTH buttons will change banks? Hmm.. Perhaps I wouldn't rely on that system for live performance applications.

      Using this live, how many patches can it hold, seems to complicated, to change in between songs, unless its controlled via midi...

    So looking forward to this thing... sold my 2290 years ago and have been regretting it ever since.

      I’m right there with you. I should’ve kept mine. I sold it to a buyer in Canada and UPS lost it. It was never found.
      I’m looking forward to shooting this out against my Flashback II, 2290 plugin, Future Factory, Axe FX II (2290 mode) and the SDE-3000EVH!

    I've owned my 2290 rack unit since purchasing it from Ed Simion back in the day. I've only had to upgrade the battery and it still works flawlessly today . My ears say this pedal is spot on. My only question is how long will the knob last before it stops encoding?

    • @PedalPlatform
      @PedalPlatform  11 місяців тому

      That's a good question that I don't have an answer for, but I can tell you this one has been used in heavy testing for a long time and still feels like new. I hope that's a good sign. 😶

      Why wouldn't the knob last? It's not like these pedals are made with cheaper parts than the rack units were back in the day. If you treat your equipment well, they will treat you well the same.

      @@PedalPoopers i think that's EXACTLY what he's saying. these pedals are Definitely made with cheaper parts than the rack units were back in the day. Its Behringer!

    Great video! Could you do a small video or reel with the settings John Petrucci used on the "lifting Shadows Off A Dream" song from the Awake album?

    Thanks for this interesting video. I've had a 2290P for a few weeks now and I'm still having trouble setting a good ducking delay. Can you give me a tip? Best regards, Oswald

    I’m looking at either the 2290p or the Boss sde 3000 evh - the big question is which do I buy?

    EDIT: SOLVED: I put the shortcut to the app in the Windows Startup Group and I'm using a Tripp Lite ACTIVE usb2 extension cable. So far so good... Just got my 2290P .... currently unable to connect it to the Windows 2290 app (Preset organizer) I've reinstalled the app, rebooted, used a different active USB extender... no luck yet...the 2290 P DOES show up in Device Manager.... ideas anyone?

    Thanks to you and that guy in Tripedal for your efforts in documenting this unit. Why they did not provide a detailed manual like the 2290 old to help is a mystery. Anyway by reviewing these three sources one can figure it out. I like this pedal for its chorus, flange and especially the panning ability. I kept my Timeline as that is the GOAT delay. Combination of these provides me with any imagined delay and pan thing. Worse thing about this outside the lack of manual is the inability to name a preset to help identify it on the unit or the lack of a param editor to create new stuff on the PC. I understand the limitations of a unit screen but that does not explain the lack of a decent param editor. That being said it is a really great delay for the cost and can do things many others can not.

      It's on the TC website, and they also dropped their intro video 😁 But I totally agree with that last sentiment! 🤣🤣🤣
