I’m not really a beginner anymore, but I’ve always struggled a bit with the cuticle area. This video didn’t so much as provide new information, but provided it in a new way. I finally get it! You guys always make the process so much easier to learn, and your camera angles are fantastic. Thank you so much!
nailtech here with a good few years under her belt but its always nice to watch these vids to reevaluate my work and keep trying to perfect it thanx guys this was awesome
Tahnk you for this because when i do my sisters nails because i use them as my practice hands, their nails still lift because for some reason I always get the acrylic on their skin and then another thing about the right amount of monomer, sometimes i use too much monomer and not too much so my bead would be runny or dry so thank you for this frrr!!!!!💕
This was very helpful, I was doing it exactly like that (wrong) thank you so much For showing me the correct way to placing the Pearl (bead)... Again thanks 😄
I would like to leave a kudos to you all!! For us all that aren't professionally trained We Thank You for all of the wonderful lessons that you have taught. I CAN'T know how many videos I have watched over the last few years. I started doing my own nails about that time. I have learned More And BETTER techniques with your groups Awesomeness !🤜🤛👍🥰💅 Y'all are fun to learn from. I'm looking forward to making my first purchase from you soon. My list turned into a start over list. 😅😋 Do need to figure out what lamp since I'm a reg polish lady. No Gel yet.😉 So.... TY for the knowledge I have revved so far. I'm getting alot of compliments now I have learned better techniques XOX
I think you just helped me I’m about to do a full set ima come back and let you know how this method helps. No one I seen on yt explained it in a way I truly understand besides you
Omg I’ve watched this three times then launched back in to doing a set… I can’t believe the difference… POV “watch” on way to sleep and be subliminally trained! Difference in my application is indescribable in conjunction with creating the perfect apex.
Ohh I be thinking I’m doing so good with my applications, cleaning up my cuticles then when it dries I see a white film on my skin . Now that I’m watching my practice finger be perfect( since it at a downward angle) and when I do my nails I keep it straight omg thank u!!! I’m a beginner and I easily self doubt myself but I didn’t want to give up this time . Thank u so much I will keep practicing 🖤🖤🖤
You explained it so good 👍🏾. I’ve always had problems around the cuticle and I was doing it the wrong way. I always had to finger flat and not aiming down.
This was helpful..i do my own nails and i was keeping my finger to flat and and thats why i was flooding my cuticles and have to do alot of filing..thanks for the video
thanks this is wonderful. I have a problem when I want to cover a nail with a flowing ball of transparent acril, to close the whole nail . They do that very easily on the recordings, I create a problem and it sticks a lot to the brush. If you would help a little with that. Or when I drag for ombre, when I tap with right consistency then its ok. All the best
Omg Im glad I came across this video now I properly know how to not flood my cuticles and side wall. And now I know where to place my beard. Thanks YoungNails
Hi guys! I've learned so much from guys! I recorded my first video and I'm in the process of editing it. I love your vids and they have shown me so much to be successful! Thanks #teamyn
I have watched your tatoreals mucous time. Questions On acrylic application. After preping the nails. Acrylic primer. Should you allow the primer to dry. Twice before your applying your acrylic pural. My client has become a diabetic. And has been on medication for this. Now her nails has started to lift, from back. What can I do. To stop that, yes she is very stressed out.
Thanks for this! I use you monomer, your acrylic, your protein bond but I was getting lifting but now I see what I need to fix! Also, can I buy that brush?
Had a manicure with short french style last night and I got 7 cuts on 6 fingers some at the cuticle on top and some at the corners of the nail where the underskin meets it. All the sides of the nails where the nail grows out at the corners were filed when she was filing and so those area are either cut or raw and when she put the acrylic tips on those nails; they were glues down to the skin including those cut areas. My fingers are sensitive and painful. Putting water on my hands burn and continues burning for a while after it dries. I don't want to soak them off with Pure acetone because the cuts are there. What can I do to pull the crazy glue away from the skin under the nails? Help?!
Unfortunately it sounds like the tech didn't remove the sharp edges of the file before using it on you. The biggest concern with getting cut would be to make sure they don't get infected. If the cuts don't seem to heal properly, we would recommend consulting with your healthcare provider. In the mean time, you may want to use an over the counter antibacterial product on them (some products have numbing agents that can help with the pain/sensitivity). Keep the skin hydrated with cuticle oil and this can also help break the bond between the glue and the skin. You can also try using acetone on a cotton swab to try to remove some of the glue. This way you can keep it away from the cuts.
What about the product collecting at the tip? It seems bulky/that it will flow over the nail tip. What do I do once it has flowed over the whole nail but now has bulk at the front?
Not only do you show the right way, I like how you show the wrong way as well!
Happy you enjoyed it

Cool thanks boo
I have watched your tatoreals mucous time.
Questions
On acrylic application.
After preping the nails.
Acrylic primer. Should you allow the primer to dry. Twice before your applying your acrylic pural. My client has become a diabetic. And has been on medication for this.
Now her nails has started to lift, from back. What can I do. To stop that, yes she is very stressed out.
No, protein bond does not dry, it stays tacky. Once you are finished applying to all 10 nails you are good to start applying product.
Which acrylic brush is in this video? I’ve been looking for a bigger flat one and have yet to find it.
It's Greg's signature brush, check out this link for more info on it: www.youngnails.com/gregs-signature-brush/
Thanks for this! I use you monomer, your acrylic, your protein bond but I was getting lifting but now I see what I need to fix!
Also, can I buy that brush?
yep www.youngnails.com
YoungNailsInc Aw it says sold out. Any restock date in the pipeline? 🙏
What brush was used during this video? Shape and size and brand? Please & thank you
It's our Greg's Signature brush size 12 you can get it here: www.youngnails.com/gregs-signature-brush/
Do you mind if I ask what brush you are using ?
it's greg's signature brush, size 12. www.youngnails.com/products/gregs-signature-brush
Is there a class or places for nail tech to learn. About medication that might effect the nails. Or a article.
We do not have those classes, but you may want to look into "medical nail tech" classes or consult with your healthcare professional.
Well I've made all the above mistakes 🤣🤣😂😂 ty!!
❤️❤️
Beautyby Key same! 😂

Here is a great video for you: ua-cam.com/video/q3zlYjWtMIY/v-deo.html
@@youngnailsinc thanks a bunch!!
Would these same tips apply to hard gel application?
Yes
Thank you, information I needed! #TEAMYN
❤️❤️
Also for a beginner I would use a little less to spread my acrylic so that I can manage the acrylic to where I want it
For sure
10th view😄 I will get cuticles looking good
