Why create a tier list when nothing is final then? Be objective when trying to do tier list. Also focus on certain game mode tier list rather than misleading title which generalizes the whole game. Also consider tier lists for casuals (focusing on convenience and quality of life) and for hardcore players (focusing more on specific rotation/ build/ combo)
Soukaku is basically bennett: gives 1000 flat attack as a buff and increases ice damage Bennett gives 120% of base attack, which ends up being around 1000 most of the time. Soukaku only gives up to 40% when maxed (1000 cap) but of her actual attack stat. So having good relics on her is gonna increase her value unlike bennett.
I see many people are upset with the game. Yet I do really have fun. Top-notch visuals, insane art and character design, great music, everything is polished and combat is kinda fun with parry and quick swaps. Certainly not for everyone but I'm sure this game is going to have it's audience.
i heard that players are upset since beta test, though i don't know what about.. I've tried it and it's gameplay is pretty good & fun.. probably need to play more to see some issues..
@@jamess359 yeah the combat is a bit much, commissions can get very wordy and exploring hollows is very time consuming, I got addicted yesterday and reached lvl 22 today but it's slowly but surely getting tiring
his genshin 1.0 tier list was only a personal first impression and he did not research that well, plus its a new game and most ppl dont know what gacha is so genshin isnt that famous at all except for gacha gamers and hoyo fans
Hoyo already introduced "team attack" mechanics in Honkai Impact: 1. Rozaliya & Liliya, the twins vodka. 2. Herrscher of Origin, Truth, & Finality, as the premium team.

@@aidanlyons25 it's a skill based game after all, only a hardcore playstyle would want this. but overall if you ask me i would rather play genshin or wuthering waves since the target is for casual players. I usually love a hardcore game but im working adding more games might change my time management in a negative way.
As a Billy enthusiast I absolutely support your opinion, he does seem weak, but I just CAN NOT skip his energy and overall style Hope he’ll get better in the near future

The idea of team up attacks is so sick to me i hope we see more, that said being a gacha itll kinda suck cuz then youll always be hunting for those pairs.
I think it might be like Itto and Gorou, or Wanderer and Faruzan. As in, the dedicated A ranks will always be featured on S rank characte banners. That would make it easier to get characters for combo attacks, but worse for getting characters equivalent of constelations 🤔
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that. I’m fan of hoyo games. I had my doubts for this game but Billy sold me. Also I realize this is kinda like a persona game. It’s nice and more relaxed paced. Ive barely played for about 4 hours so I’m enticed to see what else I unlucky at higher levels
Yeah my main team is Lycaon, Soukaku and Corin. And the battles are super easy and satisfying I don't want to play with other characters at the moment.
I love that my initial gameplay with Corin made me say. "Man, this character is fun to play, her weapon feels nice and has decent sfx. I get the feeling she's trash though, because she seems interruptable with long stationary windows on her attacks to deal damage." It's kinda just, blindingly obvious that her design space is going to let her down. That's fine for an A-rank I suppose. Looks cool in use, at least.
Yeah you could say he's broken, like his stun, buff and attack are insane too! He is like everyone favorite rn, i could hear barking noise from far distance 😭😭✌️✨ (including me)
I really dislike the character designs because no one looks like a 5 star. Damn, look at all the babies that can't stand someone else having a different opinion so they begin imagining that someone said something they didn't. Crazy people and little children at their finest. The internet was a mistake.
I actually quite like the simple design approach of ZZZ's design, it's alot more easier to remember and draw, they went for this type of design probably because it's easier to animate kinda like how studio trigger or like western 3d animation does it's designs
ZZZ finally broke the "standard ice character" curse xDD No joke, Ice charcaters in every game are my favorite and it was a alittle sad they treat them worse but since now in ZZZ they are considered atleast meta atm, they wont fall off being worse in the future and im very happy about it! Was so happy to get Lycaon as my first 5star! Hopefully i win on Ellen -w-"
I've been using Nekomata, Anby and Billy. Definitely not the best team but like you said, it's about who you find the most fun. Might try out Piper again but replacing Billy would suck lol, even if the team would be really solid.
I just wish they’d let us use the characters as wallpapers as soon as we get them instead of waiting to fulfil some kind of requirement. If I’m wrong and there’s a quick/easy way to get the backgrounds then lemme know please! Like we don’t walk around with them in the overworld for reasons, and I don’t think we can set them as our pfp either?
Good tier list, since it indeed helps explain the characters kits and it's good to mention to take these lists, especially this early on, with a grain of salt. I've never played any of the CBTs so like many others I've been a bit clueless about the various combos and attacks characters can make. It is a very stark change from the other gacha games, where you otherwise would simply use a skill and that's that, while here it can be more about timing or doing certain movements and combos to maximize damage and potential.
I'll be honest. Me personally corrin is absolutely underrated. Her ability to hold her attack button to rapidly do damage actually does decent stun. Pair rina with her and oh my goodness. Rina can do the buff and off field damage while corin just keeps em where they are. Especially since if you can get a true counter , corrin actually has a special move she does if you trigger it where she just absolutely doggy pummles the enemy. The 3rd slot can be any flex really. A support to help break , Somone for crowd control. Sure she has competition but for a free chacacter , and if you can work around her playstyle and time her perfect counter passive she can be oh so destructive 😂 Sure all chacaters have a fua attack when doing perfect parries but corrin has a whole combo move because of her chain passive.
Counterpoint, Corrin is absolutely busted when you can perfect your perfect assists. Her seemingly clunky playstyle sawing down enemies becomes essential because switching out while she is on her animation means you can get 2 attackers in at once. Allowing me to pummel down enemies with physical using both Billy and her. With big white wolf stunning enemies for me allowing me to get that juicy juicy triple combo. Corrin and Billy are damn underrated, and they are NOT useless in single target situations.
@@Vekcrazah indeed. For that reason is why Rina and especially Piper are her best set up. Piper simply acts as a support DPS that can easily conbo into corrin. And with piper corrin can trigger the anomaly way easier and much faster than doing it on her own which in is itself is still fast.
on CBT3 someone managed to clear floor 10 on shiyu defence with corrin, and she swallowed the boss quickly 💀 now they released a signature weapon for her pretty sure she will deal even high dmg
I'm probably going to test out Piper now thanks to your video, I only just started to learn about Anomalies and I got a 2nd Nekomata which I'll definately have to mess around with. Ben Bigger is actually a very comfertable Swap Character since his attacks take a while to finish, just like Rina's!
Nicole and Lucy are my 11/10 goats for support characters, my team right now is Soldier-11,Lucy and Nicole , honestly 11/10 Team until further characters release imo Lucy is actually very cool considering she basically summons like 3-5 little mini Bangboos that scale off her Crit/Crit damage if she is with 1 other Fire Char (Soldier-011 for instance for the day 1 release chars) and she buffs the teams ATK much like Benny from Genshin, so im hoping if they replace her with a 5 star/S Rank its a proper replacement that does what she does and more! Same with Nichole, she shreds enemy Defense %, as well as sucks them all in like Venti, honestly man i feel those 2 characters will be 11/10 forever until S Ranks replace them completely eventually of course.... Side note, I truly wish we had 4 character slots in this game cause its such a fun playing game, and having only 3 characters , cause I would love to have a Stun Char in my team but Nichole and Lucy feel too good to play with, until maybe a Stun char Def Shreds in the future and im sure there will be. (Bongboo yea but doesnt feel like another char, cant change it at all except copies/levels, No gear or Skills to change/level) But since they didnt design the game for 4 characters, guess that dream is sailed :C
Imo, Billy is probably an S tier. The main reason I started playing the game was for the huge amount of ads and story in them, and Billy is definitely most contributing to the story, so now that the game is global, and seeing Billy be amazing in combat aswell is a pretty rare sight. For new players controls are quite a challenge to learn, and preforming chain attacks and perfect dodges can be tricky, but whenever swapped to Billy he does the circle attack and goes behind the enemy, giving a bunch of breathing room if an enemy trapped you in a corner. Also, by equipping starlight knight replica (btw I find it funny that he's the only character that has 2 personal w-engines) the further you go the MORE damage you deal, and when the enemy catches up to you just switch to another agent. When fighting bosses, Billy's ex or ultimate may be inferior, but while waiting for them to charge up for other agents it's much better to attack with Billy than others because he dashes to a side corresponding to a move key you're holding at the end of every barrel, granting ANOTHER type of autododge, way better than attacking the boss straight up. Now, he does lack in dps when he's alone, but there's realistically very few times you're playing with less than 3 agents, and if paired up with a good close range damage dealer like Anby or Koleda (since they're most accessible early game) and the tactics I explained earlier, Billy is definitely a gamechanger. Finishing off chapter 2 rn on challenge mode, every mission with the S rating thanks to Billy and Koleda
I unlocked Lycaon yesterday and 2 Corin monday , together with a deal I made with myself about playing top Billy from the first trailer... I got a really great stun/anomaly, single target team! (Billy tends to finish the job with his spins after dishing 4 sequential stuns to an enemy) They might not be min/max characters, but damn they are fun
Nahhh- now it might just be because I'm not taking on particularly hard content, but Corin feels like she can do HUGE damage with follow up attacks, probably because her multi-hit nature stacks so well with high crit rates. I've just been using an all physical team and she SHREDS enemies for me
As a Grace player I would say you move her up to S tier cuz of the fact that she has some serious use against enemies who like to invade your privacy, such as stun types, and her dodge attack is the best I've seen in the game cuz of the fact that it does significant Penetration and Defense shredding if you are using Grace's W-Engine
As an avid Anton user, he is easily A tier. He can keep up with soldier 11's damage and even out pace it with his ultimate and guard break attacks. And yes it gets so much better with his skill on. But i guess its still subjective probably different for everyone. I just switch him and soldier back and forth depending who i want to run with kaledo and ben

As a Ben Main, I feel like he is very strong just based on how his playstyle kind of trivializes a lot of content as long as you're using him properly, but I guess that can be said for any character that gains a lot from defensive tools like dodging or blocking. I just feel like he does a lot - big AoE, high stun buildup, burn status effect on top of the tank & spank playstyle being very strong. I didn't use Corin much, but her identity seems to be Assault buildup. Pretty sure she builds Assault faster than most of the other physical attackers. Not sure about Nekomata. If you pair her up with other physical attackers, you'll be proccing Assault constantly. Piper is probably better at this though, but if you wanted to do an Anomaly party you could very easily combine them (Piper/Corin/Neko or Neko/Billy/Corin if you want a Cunning hares bonus)
Gacha gamer strike again, thank you for the video I really enjoy ZZZ so far. I like their combat, aesthetic, and characters but idk if I want to put as much effort and time into it as other game I play. Right now I main Wuwa with PGR and GI on the side but I'm not so sure now
I hate Gacha games but a good friend of mine really enjoys HSR, so when I heard about this game, I was worried at first but y’all. When I tell yall. Im addicted? This is my personality now. Billy literally has a W-engine that boosts his physical damage if he hits and enemy from at least 6 meters away.. so I don't know how the heck he's supposed to be played.. but I'll keep on spin-shooting around the map..
Billy is S tier because the Japanese VA for him is the same dude who voices Ino in JJK and im pretty sure the same Japanese VA is doing the English VA for him as well
8:36 not sure if this has been said but this isn't fixed Anton can maintain burst if he whiffs his first two hits and attacks with his drill - not holding Having you have 100% drill time and generating decibels faster
the only B is ben tbh (B for Bear) he's clunky but if used right he dishes out a lot of dmg, but yeah only with Koleda or in counter attack when he has enough energy to use skill twice, really need to make sure you don't leave him on field
Nekomata's final skating hits in her regular attack string are also delay-based it seems. But it seems finnicky. I can get 3 in a row consistently, but I'm pretty sure I've done 5 a few times. Can't mash attack, just like Anby's thunder strike.
i understand you didnt want to call your boy billy "C tier" but i do think it wouldve made more sense to make your "A+" tier characters just "A" tier and shift everyone else down one (i also think corin has a lot of potential)
I mean I’m making that Zhu anby Nicole team my second time will involve rina and whoever since she is my only 5 star and my third team is defo using Lucy since I think three teams will cover all resistances and weakness since I believe you need a ether / ice team, fire / physical team and a electric team to pretty much cover everything in S defence

I like it better than genshin, the story are fun and to be honest this is the first hoyo game doesnt makes me sleepy when it come to storytelling.
The game is pretty boring. Visuals are just there to distract you from the mind numbing combat. Just close your eyes, mash buttons and you'll win.

I absolutely love Billy, his playstyle is similar to Kiana's (HI3) and the personality is just fun to watch.

I'll be honest. Me personally corrin is absolutely underrated. Her ability to hold her attack button to rapidly do damage actually does decent stun. Pair rina with her and oh my goodness. Rina can do the buff and off field damage while corin just keeps em where they are.
Especially since if you can get a true counter , corrin actually has a special move she does if you trigger it where she just absolutely doggy pummles the enemy. The 3rd slot can be any flex really. A support to help break , Somone for crowd control. Sure she has competition but for a free chacacter , and if you can work around her playstyle and time her perfect counter passive she can be oh so destructive 😂
Sure all chacaters have a fua attack when doing perfect parries but corrin has a whole combo move because of her chain passive.
Counterpoint, Corrin is absolutely busted when you can perfect your perfect assists. Her seemingly clunky playstyle sawing down enemies becomes essential because switching out while she is on her animation means you can get 2 attackers in at once. Allowing me to pummel down enemies with physical using both Billy and her. With big white wolf stunning enemies for me allowing me to get that juicy juicy triple combo. Corrin and Billy are damn underrated, and they are NOT useless in single target situations.
@@Vekcrazah indeed. For that reason is why Rina and especially Piper are her best set up. Piper simply acts as a support DPS that can easily conbo into corrin. And with piper corrin can trigger the anomaly way easier and much faster than doing it on her own which in is itself is still fast.
on CBT3 someone managed to clear floor 10 on shiyu defence with corrin, and she swallowed the boss quickly 💀 now they released a signature weapon for her pretty sure she will deal even high dmg

I'm probably going to test out Piper now thanks to your video, I only just started to learn about Anomalies and I got a 2nd Nekomata which I'll definately have to mess around with. Ben Bigger is actually a very comfertable Swap Character since his attacks take a while to finish, just like Rina's!

Corin has a playstyle that needs the enemy to be stunned and just hold heavy attack to dish out easy damage
Billy has so much style in his attacks, that alone would make him at worst A tier in my book

Nicole and Lucy are my 11/10 goats for support characters, my team right now is Soldier-11,Lucy and Nicole , honestly 11/10 Team until further characters release imo
Lucy is actually very cool considering she basically summons like 3-5 little mini Bangboos that scale off her Crit/Crit damage if she is with 1 other Fire Char (Soldier-011 for instance for the day 1 release chars) and she buffs the teams ATK much like Benny from Genshin, so im hoping if they replace her with a 5 star/S Rank its a proper replacement that does what she does and more!
Same with Nichole, she shreds enemy Defense %, as well as sucks them all in like Venti, honestly man i feel those 2 characters will be 11/10 forever until S Ranks replace them completely eventually of course....
Side note, I truly wish we had 4 character slots in this game cause its such a fun playing game, and having only 3 characters , cause I would love to have a Stun Char in my team but Nichole and Lucy feel too good to play with, until maybe a Stun char Def Shreds in the future and im sure there will be.
(Bongboo yea but doesnt feel like another char, cant change it at all except copies/levels, No gear or Skills to change/level) But since they didnt design the game for 4 characters, guess that dream is sailed :C

Imo, Billy is probably an S tier. The main reason I started playing the game was for the huge amount of ads and story in them, and Billy is definitely most contributing to the story, so now that the game is global, and seeing Billy be amazing in combat aswell is a pretty rare sight. For new players controls are quite a challenge to learn, and preforming chain attacks and perfect dodges can be tricky, but whenever swapped to Billy he does the circle attack and goes behind the enemy, giving a bunch of breathing room if an enemy trapped you in a corner. Also, by equipping starlight knight replica (btw I find it funny that he's the only character that has 2 personal w-engines) the further you go the MORE damage you deal, and when the enemy catches up to you just switch to another agent. When fighting bosses, Billy's ex or ultimate may be inferior, but while waiting for them to charge up for other agents it's much better to attack with Billy than others because he dashes to a side corresponding to a move key you're holding at the end of every barrel, granting ANOTHER type of autododge, way better than attacking the boss straight up. Now, he does lack in dps when he's alone, but there's realistically very few times you're playing with less than 3 agents, and if paired up with a good close range damage dealer like Anby or Koleda (since they're most accessible early game) and the tactics I explained earlier, Billy is definitely a gamechanger. Finishing off chapter 2 rn on challenge mode, every mission with the S rating thanks to Billy and Koleda
I unlocked Lycaon yesterday and 2 Corin monday , together with a deal I made with myself about playing top Billy from the first trailer... I got a really great stun/anomaly, single target team! (Billy tends to finish the job with his spins after dishing 4 sequential stuns to an enemy)
They might not be min/max characters, but damn they are fun
i play koleda/corin/lucy and i clear relatively quick. i especially love playing corin & she's definitely on of my favs for now

Nahhh- now it might just be because I'm not taking on particularly hard content, but Corin feels like she can do HUGE damage with follow up attacks, probably because her multi-hit nature stacks so well with high crit rates. I've just been using an all physical team and she SHREDS enemies for me

fyi. Nicole’s blackholes shreds DEF, not just enhanced attacks. Easiest to combo with to get that sweet DEF reduction is the chain attack.
As a Grace player I would say you move her up to S tier cuz of the fact that she has some serious use against enemies who like to invade your privacy, such as stun types, and her dodge attack is the best I've seen in the game cuz of the fact that it does significant Penetration and Defense shredding if you are using Grace's W-Engine
I personally think Corin is criminally underrated she is actually quite good especially if you hold her ex special try it if you haven’t

As an avid Anton user, he is easily A tier. He can keep up with soldier 11's damage and even out pace it with his ultimate and guard break attacks. And yes it gets so much better with his skill on. But i guess its still subjective probably different for everyone. I just switch him and soldier back and forth depending who i want to run with kaledo and ben

As a Ben Main, I feel like he is very strong just based on how his playstyle kind of trivializes a lot of content as long as you're using him properly, but I guess that can be said for any character that gains a lot from defensive tools like dodging or blocking. I just feel like he does a lot - big AoE, high stun buildup, burn status effect on top of the tank & spank playstyle being very strong.
I didn't use Corin much, but her identity seems to be Assault buildup. Pretty sure she builds Assault faster than most of the other physical attackers. Not sure about Nekomata. If you pair her up with other physical attackers, you'll be proccing Assault constantly. Piper is probably better at this though, but if you wanted to do an Anomaly party you could very easily combine them (Piper/Corin/Neko or Neko/Billy/Corin if you want a Cunning hares bonus)

Billy literally has a W-engine that boosts his physical damage if he hits and enemy from at least 6 meters away.. so I don't know how the heck he's supposed to be played.. but I'll keep on spin-shooting around the map..
Billy is S tier because the Japanese VA for him is the same dude who voices Ino in JJK and im pretty sure the same Japanese VA is doing the English VA for him as well

the only B is ben tbh (B for Bear) he's clunky but if used right he dishes out a lot of dmg, but yeah only with Koleda or in counter attack when he has enough energy to use skill twice, really need to make sure you don't leave him on field

Nekomata's final skating hits in her regular attack string are also delay-based it seems. But it seems finnicky. I can get 3 in a row consistently, but I'm pretty sure I've done 5 a few times. Can't mash attack, just like Anby's thunder strike.

i understand you didnt want to call your boy billy "C tier" but i do think it wouldve made more sense to make your "A+" tier characters just "A" tier and shift everyone else down one

I mean I’m making that Zhu anby Nicole team my second time will involve rina and whoever since she is my only 5 star and my third team is defo using Lucy since I think three teams will cover all resistances and weakness since I believe you need a ether / ice team, fire / physical team and a electric team to pretty much cover everything in S defence

@arian_motta well there were like 20 in the mail, login bonus, one time 10 for free, and more for reaching certain "Adventure Rank". After you reach far enough unti the story you get "Daily chores" basically your Daily commissions. Beside that just click through all the taps and see of there is anything that you can claim
