I thought your son was going to burst with happiness. Now you have someone to go trail riding with and have some real explorations. Maybe even campout. So so cool.
Mate what a great job you did on the bike 💯👌 It’s fantastic doing that for your boy I had the pleasure of doing a custom job on a 2009 KXF250 for my son so I know exactly how you feel Thanks for the work you do. Kelly from New Zealand 🇳🇿
NICE!!! … our boy was11 at Christmas when we got him his 2022 KX85, and we are so proud to be able to! He Races it in 2 States and he Loves it, he does race it against the 112’s in the Super Mini class as well, 2 of his older friends, have and race their KX112’s and they are Awesome Bikes! Team Green…Always!!!
@@dirtniron Yeah that’s what we figured as well, he was 11 but in April turned 12 and was moving up from 65 Class in racing, he races Motocross and loves it, He absolutely Absolutely Loves his new bike, and it’s perfect size for him for the next 2-3 years and to us there is no better kids bike than Team Green!
Nice build. When I was younger I got my kx85 from a racer with a ton of sponsorships I so I had a lot of goodies on mine as well. So much fun. This bike looks awesome!
Awesome!!! Question as I have an 11 year old. He has been lately on the Orion 110 pit bike which is lighter and better suspension than a Honda 110 pit and it has auto clutch. It is a 4 stroke so great for trails. He actually had the Honda 110 prior. Now my 8year old rides it. I am an enduro guy - ride a KTM300XC. Did you think about doing a flywheel weight on the Kawi? Trying to figure out what his next bike will be and the smaller bore 2 strokes can be a handful in the woods and tougher trials. IMO there is a gap for enduro bikes for the younger kids. Trying to see if a flywheel weight could help a lot if I go with a smaller bore 2 stroke for him. He needs to learn clutch etc
I think the FWW will definitely help on trail rides, I am planning to test one on the bike as well. Yes there is a gap for enduro bikes for thes age group, I think this kx112 can be a pretty good trail bike tho.
What dude you’re so lucky to be able to go to the DirtbikeTV garage, I watch all their videos, please tell them they do an amazing job and they help more than they probably even know! But with Kawasaki Run Pro Circuit pipes, I’ve run both but the Pro circuit I like more.
@@dirtniron That’s so Awesome and Please tell them I watch all their stuff, it’s very helpful, and Thank you from us, we really enjoy it, and also thank you as well for your time and response sir, I’m glad you got to get your boy a new bike as well, Team Green!
We rent an apartment, so I have to do everything in the front yard, or in the kitchen, where the bike lives full time, I tell Mama it’s climate controlled storage, and his last years 65 lives in the living room against the wall but that’s an Actual 2009 Monster Edition KX65 and I don’t think there is very many of them.

Need the link for the tank I need a bigger tank
search IMS website
Wow sana all
You didn’t put the new radiator hoses on the same way as the stock ones
yea, I know..
the silicone hoses are wrong on the water pump!!!
Yea, caught that already. I was trying reverse flow cooling 😂🤦♂️
Any flywheel weights added?
No, its all stock. Plenty of low end and traction for my boy. Maybe in the future
@@dirtniron how does it do with slow technical trail riding?
“ i wana rip on it😰” he is so excited 😂
haha, yea he wanted to ride right away ;)
Awesome

Awesome build! My goodness, how tall was your son then??? My 12 y/o is barely 5' and fits an 85 perfectly!
thanks Eric, I think Timothy was like 5'2 or 5'3 back then.. he is 5'7 now..
Hey guys would a kx112 be a good first bike for a 14 year old that stands around 5.8 5.9 and about 60kg
Should look Into a kdx200 or nmaybe kx125
Ok will do
yea, you are big enough for a full size bike

Timothy is 5'3"
Happy Father’s Day!
