Donut store next to the police station offers a benefit?! Love it! That's the kind of hidden secret stuff that I love in these kinds of chill games. And - watching natural disasters destroy the land is an entertaining fascination. (I'm certain that last statement doesn't make me sound like a freak at all.)
Haha!! No.. not at all Tiff lol!! Love it!!
It doesn't make you sound like a freak, but we already know you are one (and that's why we love you ❤)
I'm guessing that if you were a movie director Tiff, you would be Roland Emmerich! lol.
Aww... You guys. You're freaks too!! ❤️
Mmmm 😋 donuts!
I have played yesterday and love it. This is one relaxing game that I have played since puzzling places.
I noticed Brian said you can't get right down to street level - and the maximum zoom down is close, but still very much above the map - however, I found I was getting a stiff neck after playing for hours because you have to look downwards at the level. So I slid off the edge of my bed and sat on the floor only to find that unlike most games that try to keep you at a constant height relative to the terrain, this one doesn't, so at full zoom I was sat inside the middle of the city with my eyes roughly at the height of the taller roofs. So, if you want to get a better look, you can just get low.
I bought this before the review. Im a huge rts fan and i just had to get this ASAP. This, Townsmen and Cities VR are titles that the PSVR2 is seriously lacking in!
I’m kind of looking forward to chilling out with this, and also not at the same time
I’ve been playing this style of management game since I can remember, part of the appeal is having to try and balance everything, power management, taxes etc and so this is where I think the game will lose me
It’s like hot lapping round an empty track, at first it’s great to get to know the track and car but once you’ve got that down, you quickly want the thrill of the race and the challenge that brings with it
But this is also where I think little cities and cities VR, can utilise each other for the greater good, those people with less experience can start off with this and once they have the basics down can move over to the more advanced Cities VR and vice versa, if people are struggling with all the management of Cities VR, they can use little cities to get the basics down
A welcome addition to the genre imo, never tried it on quest, but will give it a go on PSVR2
Just bought this one and cities vr (was just in time for cities vr to get it on sale😅). Thanks for the review Bryan!!
Bought it, it looks so nice. Really relaxing game. Just build and watch the city come alive. Charming game.
I like how simple it’s and I don’t have to worry about error when making street
That's what I like about it too. Having to bust my ass worrying about budget is why I played Cities on PC so I could get infinite money lol. I'll for sure play this due to its layed back nature.
Thansk for the review. Seems like there is a lot to love here but with Happy Funland and Madison coming out and the fact that we just got Stilt in gonna have to hold off for a bit.
PS VR2 has too many games! 😄
can feel the cozy vibes emanating!
Any score higher than 7 by Bryan makes me buy the game, now I have to buy it. 😒
Thanks for your effort and hard work for another review, we appreciate that.
I really thought this would be by the same people as Pocket City 1 and 2 on iOS (And I assume Android). If you want a non-VR this look into those two because quite frankly they're near actionably the same game. Which is good for me because I loved those and I'd like a VR one.
I was about to comment the same, If it is similar to Pocket City I will buy it soon.
I’d definitely like to see a cities vr review. It’s been very tempting because I like city builders but the average score on the PlayStation store for cities vr is like 3.9 or something which seems pretty low.
Cities VR is good. However, the controls are it's biggest downfall. You have to travel through menus all the time that seem weird and don't get any easier to get to where you need to get to. If you want a more serious builder, get cities VR, if not, little cities is fun and less stressful and the controls are waaaaaay more simplified.
If you could walk or drive around your city then this game could have attracted new players who don't enjoy building games. Like me😉
..So, you want - Little cities Fast n Furious GTA galaxy cart version, build, race, hide from the po-po Little Citi'Hoodies. LoLz. 🎉😂🎉😂.
EDIT: I do agree with you though, it would be fun to drive around the city you have built to hit some jumps ala Streets of San fransisco / Dukes of hazard. After you finish building, maybe in a seperate City-gallery mode of finished cities, nothing to fancy. Does this game even have hills tho, review didnt show any, maybee in sandbox mode? :)

Love your videos and I love my PSVR2! It has turned me into an exclusive VR gamer! Nothing wows me more than VR! This game looks great I’m going to pick it up!
Tropico VR would be the bees knees
Isn't tropico vr coming out on quest soon so psvr2 port probably incoming
fantastic review as always, also when are you dropping the CyubeVR review?!
I lost about 3 work days this week unexpectedly so everything is way behind schedule. I'll do my best to get it out asap though....
@@WithoutParole oh dude I’m really sorry to hear that happened to you, that’s terrible. No worries at all, good luck and you’re awesome dude keep it up!
Awesome review Bryan👍
I think I am kinda in the same boat as you; I do like simcity games but don't like the deeper mechanics with water/electricity and taxes and stuff.
So this looks really appealing and can probably ease me in to eventually try cities VR
Keen to learn more about the more complicated version!
Hi Brian, are you going to review System Critical 2?
I'd love a VR option in Anno 1800 :-)
I have about 20 hours in this. It's mediocre. The game is fun for a bit but has virtually zero challenge to it. I recommend it at $10.
can you build on hills yet in this little city builder? i was thinking of getting it but i want to build on hills and fun stuff but it looks like you can only build flat. Has it had any big patches yet maybee? Oh well wish it was "BIGGER" like its title lol. love to hear from u either way.
Bryan! I owe you a MASSIVE apology! A went to click Like and was horrified to see that I was un-subscribed!!! I assure you I would NEVER do that ( your's was the first channel I ever subscribed to ). I shudder to think how long this has lasted. Could this be a technical thing? If not, I've been drunk enough to accidentally hit that instead of Like ( in which case I'm lucky to be ALIVE ). Please try to forgive me. :(
Be honest. It was all the singing on Gamescast Live, wasn’t it lol 😂
@@WithoutParole Actually, it's all coming back, you're right. :D
I don't think anybody is going to waste a money on that
$25 seems like a bit much for what I played on Quest 3 (was in October Quest+ which is the PS+ equivalent). I'm thinking of all the Indie games (not just in VR) in my wish list on Steam that I would rather buy first at that price, even just city builder e.g. The Wandering Village is also $25 (also on Xbox Gamepass) Not super in depth either but there's more strategy to it.
Sorry but no traffic management? No thanks
Glad I could help you decide! :D
Lame
Just like you
Cool story bro!
