Awesome riding man. I tried out on some track days and ended up low to high siding in a double apex. Don't ever ride with a migraine was the lesson. Stay safe rubber side down. Proud of what you're doing in Canada. Keep up the good work.
@Marcel This is scary to watch much less participate in! Its a wonderful testimony to Canadian courage and stamina; thanks for applying that now to defending your countrymen and encouraging ones like me, from usa (not to mention entertaining). Cant wait to share this around! : )
I've been watching your channel since the convoy started, you have a lot of talent, such a shame to lose two years of racing career because of government over reach...
yeah, totally unexpected. I dedicated my life from 2009 to end of 2019 to becoming one of the best superbike racers in North America, and the best teacher... only to have a back injury that nearly killed me that started in December, and then wasn't able to get medical help as bullshit-19 shut down all avenues of recovery..
@@irnieracing I found that throughout the pandemic, New York safety track was some how open and besides hiking that’s all I have done for fun in the last few years. Hope to see you there and I hope to see you racing at a high level in the future. I would love to get some coaching from you. Also, thank you for fighting for freedom, we here in America and as well as the world are watching.
Are you familiar with a old bike racer from Alberta by the name Steve Dick because back in the mid seventies July first long weekend we were skiing Parker Ridge along the Banff Jasper highway and he gave me a ride that I’ll never forget along the huge down hill curve after the Columbia Ice Fields. I dared not make any sudden moves when we were leaning in that monster curve. What a rush. By the way a huge thank to you and all you brave truckers your making history Gods Speed.🇨🇦

So for rain racing we (racers) usually soften the suspension. Big teams would have a rain bike already setup with softer springs, computer electronics - traction control, engine braking, etc, for rain racing. We ride slower and smoother in the rain trying to keep the tire glued to the wet pavement to maximize control and prevent disaster. Without a team to change rear shock spring and fork springs, I usually remove a couple clicks of compression and rebound to make the bike more compliant and "stay" with the road undulations. I also remove some preload from the fork and shock springs. Now as I was racing, I was picking up my pace lap by lap, and was getting confident with hard braking in a straight line. I started to brake almost as hard as I do in the dry, and thus in that instance I bottomed the front forks on the brakes as the front went over braking bumps. As soon as the fork bottoms, the tire lets go, and down I went. Now if I had not removed the preload, or maybe just one less front compression, I might have raced to the finish.

The glown shows is in place in Ottawa .
Can you believe that? Did you see those big draft horses the cops were riding against the people? Horrendous and shameful.
I'll bet my daughter was there, we just didn't know about you then. Her and her hubby go every year to these and formula 1.
You must really know your bike as well as course track. Racing in the rain. That's just crazy. Lol

Why did you lose the front end? Brake issue?
