man i regret not rebuilding when i had it in front of me.....bottom end started knocking shorty after...engine looked good
Always be safe or you could be sorry. Best to do it now then have an issue later. Just my 2 cents. 😉

I think 2018 and higher scats have the exact same block. I know my scat came with it
Yeah 2018+ are bge I think
They had to be running e85. Have a machine shop look at it. Replace all the bearings regardless...
All new bearings, main studs, and maybe even some new piston rings just to be safe
Go Ahead and go thru the block cam and bearings etc. Looks like the piston walls needs a rehone. Talk with Dave im sure he will point you in the right direction.

I'm not surprised. Do not run without a thermostat... But that's your business. I'd like to know how you ended up like that.
Ended up like what? I picked up the short block like this. It has nothing to do with a thermostat
